Bleh! The color of this TM made me look so sick. After putting this on I looked very yellow. Other then the horrible color it does look OK, but not spectacular. Maybe I will try this when I get more of a tan and see what it does because I like that it has spf in it.

I don't like this product. It clogs my pores and gives my acne even though its hypo-allergenic. Its not good for dry skin or acne prone very greasy feeling and looking. I only used it once and threw it out.

This is the first tinted moisturizer that has NOT broken me out horribly. I wouldn't consider this very moisturizing, But I personally don't need alot of moisture so it works well for me. It provides decent, natural looking coverage & gives me skin a nice glow. I've been testing this out for a few weeks, so I will have to update after few months. The price is amazing and definitely worth it. If you have acne, I would suggest giving this a try!

It had good coverage, good consistency, overall was a good product. But after buying it I discovered it is not the right shade for my fair complexion. Normally I am pretty safe purchasing the lightest shade but I was disappointed that it really doesn't match my skin.

The price is great but strange enough it balls up when I put it on! I tried using my fingers, I've tried a foundation brush and no matter what, it balls up on my face (I have dry winter skin right now). I was looking for a tinted moisturizer that'll calm the redness on my face since my face tends to get a little dry and red during the winter but this just didn't do very well. It might be because I have Avene light moisturizer on underneath and they just don't get along very well but when I tried it alone, it still didn't work very well.

The consistency is a little thick, more of a cream. It takes some time to really blend that in. But for the price, it doesn't hurt to give it a try, especially the fact that I haven't broken out from it (yet).

I have harsh combination skin in the summer, so from day to day if varies whether I am oily or super dry. This product was awesome, just the right amount of moisturizers and it is not heavy or oily. Fabulous for the summer.

Not a great coverage, but I found if you put jus a dab of something heavier on zits or black heads and then rub this over top it does the job pretty well, looks so natural.

This is sooooooo pretty! I bought this on sale for 10 bux and it is so awesome! I have a clinique tinted moisturizer as well but it creates tooo much oil for my combination face. This product is sheer with hints of shimmer, and it does not make my face oily!

Read my review on the "luminous" version which delves into the wonderful consistency and coverage of this product - http://www.makeupalley.com/product/showreview.asp/ItemID=68001/Sheer_Tint_fluid_moisturizer_shimmer_formula/Marcelle/Tinted_Moisturizer

I'd rate it way more highly if I could find a matte formulation that matched my skintone, and didn't have to settle for a shimmery shade that I will not repurchase (even though I love the formula).

For your reference, I'm a NC30-35 and CG smoothers Light-Med and Neutrogena Healthy Skin Enhancer in Med-Tan (in part due to their thinner and sheerer consistency) work way better shade-wise for me.

Age: 19-24   Skin: Acne-prone, Medium   Hair: Black   Eyes: Brown

Description:

This is a 50mL sheer tinted moisturizer with SPF 15 (octinoxate) in the shade Creme Beige. Creme Beige is the lightest shade. The three other shades from lightest to darkest are: Mocha Beige, Cafe au Lait, and Bronze Soleil. This line also has a branch of two new "luminous" shades: Luminous Beige, and Luminous Amber (these appear more bronze-y/pink and shimmery). This product has no noticeable scent.

Colour:

Creme Beige is an excellent match to my medium/fair Asian complexion. The great match is probably atleast in part due to the sheerness of the product. That being said, I think one of the major factors in excellent matching is because all of the shades are perfectly neutral - not too orange and not too pink (although the Luminous ones might be a bit to warm). Creme Beige does warm up my face and keep it from looking sallow. I think this would be excellent for a sun-kissed look for more fair skinned girls, but I think porcelain skinned girls will find Creme Beige too dark.

Texture/Consistency:

This has a feel that is sort of in between a moisturizer/cream and a mousse foundation. This product applies the best when put directly onto cleansed skin and feels nearly naked as though you are barely wearing any makeup. At the moment, it is frigid winter where I am and alone, this product does not provide enough moisture. I use Cetaphil lotion mixed with a bit of Extra Virgin Olive Oil on my face first, and then dab the product over top and blend it out by patting. When applied on top of another product, I avoid spreading and blending it with strokes or rubbing the product because I find it can separate/ball/clump up slightly. I think this is because it is not compatible with my Cetaphil/Olive Oil concoction (like mixing oil and water). However, it's not a big deal as I still get great results.

Coverage:

Since this is a tinted moisturizer, do not expect a lot of coverage. I have acne prone skin that is just starting to clear up so I do not want to stress out my skin with heavy foundation and makeup (I also do not like the look of a made-up face for everyday!). l have some red marks and scars and an overall uneven complexion with large pores. While this product does not hide flaws, it somehow makes them less jarring without it looking like you are wearing makeup at all. This product makes your skin look overall glowly, supple, and healthy even WITH visible blemishes, as apposed to regular makeup that can completely hide all blemishes but your skin looks dead, dry, unhealthy and obviously made-up.

Packaging:

This comes in an opaque, grey, 50mL squeeze tube with a screw cap. It is very hygienic and convenient. Ingredients are listed on the packaging - something that EVERY cosmetics company needs to do!!

Overall Opinion:

HG! I absolutely love this product and this has furthered my trust in the Marcelle brand. Initially, I was worried about breaking out in hives because I am allergic to most chemical sunscreens (as apposed to physical sunblocks like titanium dioxide and zinc). However, the oxinoctate, or any other ingredient in this product for that matter, has not irritated my sensitive skin - which is what Marcelle is known for. As I mentioned previously, the overall effect of this product is healthy, glowy skin and diffused blemishes/flaws. I am excited to see how this product fairs in the hot, humid summer months when my skin becomes an oil slick! I will be sure to update.

EDIT: I have knocked off a lippy because it is mid-winter and this is sadly becoming to dark for my skin. Marcelle really needs to make a lighter shade!!

EDIT #2: I have noticed that my skin has mild breakouts after I use this. I have discovered Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Cream Foundation which looks even better than this product and does not break me out.

I picked this up on sale at the d/s and I love it. It moisturizes, gives sheer coverage that deemphasizes minor blemishes/redness and has an SPF 15. I use it under my Cover Girl TruBlend powder foundation and it gives my skin a healthy, dewy look. I will repurchase when I run out.

This tinted moisturizer is cheap AND fab! I got it on sale at Shoppers Drug Mart for $9.99. Creme beige matches my NC20 skin perfectly. It is sheer but offers good coverage. I have a few acne scars and large pores, and this TM covers it quite nicely. I only need to put concealer on the darker scars i have. It looks so natural, like i have nothing on! The skin around my nose is sometimes flaky and dry, even if i moisturize well. But this TM doesn't accentuate dryness at all! In fact because it's a moisturizer it further moisturizes those dry areas. For reference I have combo/normal-to-dry skin, and I use MAC MSF natural over the TM to prevent it from rubbing off. This TM does rub off, as i found out the hard way. But that's not a big deal to me because i set it with powder anyway. The tube packaging is also nice and sanitary. Another great product from Marcelle! Will definitely buy again once i run out!

For reference: I have Asian combination skin, with a few acne scars on my cheeks, large pores, NC30 in MAC.

My face has finally cleared up after weeks of hell. I had a lot of pimples popping up left and right so now I have these scars to battle. But hey, I'd rather have the brown spots than the zits, so I'm okay with that. Now that my skin is pimple-free I want to keep it that way. Usually I wear MAC's Studio Fix, but this Summer I'd like to avoid it and see if my skin improves even more. I opted for a tinted moisturizer as I am not *yet* ready to go completely bare. Found this TM at Shoppers Drugmart and I bought it because there wasn't much to choose from. Cream Beige was the closest match, but it's still too light on my NC30 skin tone. But I'm dealing with that by warming it up with a bronzer from Everyday Minerals which seems to help. I might go back and check out the other shades more closely and hopefully I'll find a better match. So far, after a week of wearing it almost daily, my skin is still pimple-free. I like the way it goes on, not too liquidy and not too heavy either. At first it seemed a little too pasty, but when you spread it over your face it melts down into your skin nicely. The coverage is definitely a lot sheerer than what I'm used to, but yet it covers my imperfections nicely. My skin feels and looks smooth after application, my pores are slightly smaller, and the redness is gone. For once, I feel natural and not like I'm wearing cake on my face. The packaging is awesome, very hygienic. I will definitely repurchase with the hopes that I won't find something better...and erm, more expensive.

I have this TM in Creme Beige. It is the lightest shade in the line an looked a little too yellow to me at first, but I got it anyway.
I'm glad I did because when I tried it I realized what I was doing wrong when choosing foundation...I was choosing a shade that was too white for my skin and it made me look like a ghost. This TM is capable of toning down all the redness on my nose and face without looking fake. Imperfections still show up but this is exactly what I wanted...for my skin to look natural but more even.
It is a little on the thick side but it doesn't make it any harder to smooth on the face if you use your fingers and warm up the product with them.
I will buy again when I run out.
oh, and I also got it in one shade darker for the summer but didn't have a chance to try it yet.

it's pretty good.. too bad that i got it in a redder and deeper shade than my normal skin (cafe au late). so instead i use this as my blush and highlighter and it works just as well. It's a great product if you wake up in the morning and your face looks really sallow. it seems that i've been using this product forever!!

I've been on the hunt for a tinted moisturiser for quite some time now, and this fit the bill perfectly. I wanted something that would help combat the winter dryness, was lightweight, and provided adequate coverage. Marcelle's TM is fantastic in fulfilling all of the above requirements. I do not find it to be too greasy - I actually apply my regular facial moisturiser before I apply this TM - it sinks right into my skin after about 5 mins of application. I dust a bit of powder over it to set it, and I touch up once or twice with MAC's blot powder through the work day (which is typical of any foundation I've used). I was tempted to try CG's Smoothers, but it seemed to sheer for my liking, and it seemed to cause more shininess in some people. The consistency of this TM is great for an even application - it's thicker, but not pasty - I find that it spreads well when warmed up on my skin - no streaks. This is unscented, does not cause breakouts, oh, and this has SPF of 15, to boot! I especially like the tube design of the packaging - very easy to toss into my makeup bag, and it makes application quite sanitary. Finally, the colour "creme beige" is perfectly matched to my NC20 skintone - this is the lightest colour Marcelle offers in this line, which makes me wonder about people who are paler than me, or have a more rosy complexion. I bought this on sale at Pharma Plus for $10 Cdn for a 50ml tube. I will definitely repurchase - in fact, I've bought a spare to keep at my bf's place. ;)

I love this TM!!! I have acne prone, oily in the T-zone skin, and this covers the redness from my acne scars. The consistency is nice and thick, and you can build it up as you like.
I like the glow it gives me, but I tone it done with NYC powder because i like my skin to be a bit matte. I just wish that they had more range of colors: Creme Beige is the lightest color, but it is a bit too dark for my skin, and my skin is not even considered to be very light!
This TM is non - hypoallergenic, non scented, and non comegenic. It comes in a 50 ml squeeze tube.

The product itself is good, but it was not suitable for my oily skin. This was my first attempt to wearing a TM, but it's not working, I need something to control oil and give me more coverage.
It has no smell, goes on smoothly, it evens out skin tone, so it should be great with people with normal-dry skin and who don't need coverage.

I love this tinted moisturizer (then again I haven't try any other so...). I wear it everyday and I have sensitive skin, with dry patches, oily Tzone and occasional acne and this product never has caused me any problem. sometimes I mix it with my other liquid foundation for a bit more coverage. it's true that at first it may look a bit greasy on application but this doesn't last long specially if you like puting powder like I do. This is the second tub i'm finishing and while looking to buy my 3rd one a nice sales lady showed me the new luminous version of this product (they have only 2 shades for now). will update mua on the results.
