I've bought the Carbon Gloss version of this stuff for ages and it's AMAZING! Can't fault it for me.

However, I recently bought the Black Lacquer version and it's awful! I don't know what they've done to this one but it's really sticky and sticks to my eyelids. It sucks too because I've just bought 3 of them..

If you buy the super liner then please DO NOT buy the Black Lacquer!

I'm a big fan of this product. I use eyeliner almost everyday, and this one perfectly matches even with the lower line of my eye, wich is extremely difficult to define if the product isn't good enough. This eyeliner is a deep and intense black and lasts all day long. I've been buying it since two years ago and I'm going to keep on with it.

I got the Super Liner Duo in Carbon Black(black tub with blue written)and is named duo liner coz the tip is flexible and u can made really thin or thick lines .At the moment i got this,i had another 3liquid liners,2pens and 2gels.I wasnt happy with those products and getting tired of spending too much time only for liner.I got this is in sale not hopping anything.But the surprise came from first application.
The tip is amazing,not too long,not too flexible,not too soft..is perfect for me.Also the color is very black(glossy black),really intense black, not matt black like with gels.
I love how quick i can line my both eyes without to be messy or wasting too much time(under 5minutes).
I love how precise can be the tip.For me is a problem in morning, when 20mins after i wokeup i have to makeup and so often i have shaking hands and i am also very sleepy but with this liner is not a problem.
Also for when i wear heavy makeup with many eyeshadows and is very important to dont ruin it by touching it with the liner,is really easy with this product.
I have very sensitive eyes and really watery,often i get itchy or redness becouse of my genetic ocular sensitivity and i am surpised to dont have any trouble with this liner even if is not water resistant. Also this staying in place for 8-10hours,no smudging.
I am so very happy with this product,the best ever!!!

They changed the package and now the product is not the same.The color is not so black anymore..i am soo dissapointed.L-oreal i really hate you!!!!!!

This is my favourite eyeliner. I use it in Carbon Gloss. I was hopelessly bad at applying any liquid liner before I found this. It's smooth, the applicator is easy to control for thick and thin lines, dries instantly, easy to correct and VERY long lasting (I wear contacts, which means I am constantly touching my eyes, but this doesn't budge). The colour is quite a deep black as well, but seems to lighten slightly, so I need a quick reapply for midday. Still amazing, though.

This by far is one of my favourite liquid eyeliners. Its really easy to apply as the applicator wand is like a felt tip pen. This is good because this way I can not only do a nice thick line on my eye, I can also do a slick thin line.

Applying is also very easy and smooth - it tends to glide on and if you make a mistake, its easily ammended without giving you a black eye.

However, the only thing which I would say is a downer about this is that it tends to lighten up after a while (but it doesn't come off or fade). I personally like the top liner to be dark but overall this is a good buy and I would reccomend it

Super Liner (mine is Carbon Gloss).
Easy to apply, I never have any problems with it. Stays on for long. No smudges. Easy to correct. Love it. I'm thinking about picking up more colors.

I love the sponge, tip applicator! Makes application very easy and smooth, with barely any mistakes. The colour is very pigmented and dark, and lasts all day. I wear this liner most days, and is one of the best I have ever used, even compared to HE brands. My only gripe is that it dries out quite quickly and hasn't lasted me as long as other liners.

The best thing about this liner is probably the applicator. It has a felt tip rather than the long thin brush most liners seem to come with which makes it really easy to apply. I think it would be great for someone wearing liquid eyeliner for the first time.

The formulation has a strong colour but it can start to rub off at the corners of your eyes after a few hours.

I love this liner! I have it in every shade of black (!) - carbon gloss, normal and the limited edition black they bring out a xmas which has a hint of silver in it + the new Luminizer shades for blue and hazel eyes (I just like the colours, I don't have odd coloured eyes!!). I applied this at 6.30am this morning and now it's 10pm and it hasn't budged. It's absolutely wonderful. The applicator is very easy to use, even for first time eyeliner users, but L'Oreal - please please bring out a brown eyeliner!!

If I know I'm gonna need to keep my makeup on for a long time (I travel for work and do a lot of long haul business trips) then I reach for the Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner as it's bulletproof, but for everyday wear this is the first thing I reach for as it takes seconds to apply. If you put in on bare skin, then apply your eyeshadow over it, it seems to last even longer.

this is the review for the Super liner in the matte gold tube.
nice reliable basic black liquid liner that is very very easy to apply and tightline with. i grab this when i am in a crazy rush, otherwise it is not my favourite, and one lipstick is missing for a few reasons.

although this is black enough, because it applies with a sponge, the sponge almost seems to absorb some of the liquid during application, so i have to layer this over itself. the blackness of this also does fade on me. another thing i don't like, is that this has an inconsistent finish. i don't like my liquid liners to look glossy/shiny, and in some areas, this dries matte and others shiny and a little watery looking.

i much prefer liquid liners with a brush for that very clean and stark look, but they are a little trickier to apply. i probably would buy this again, as it's useful and quick, but it isn't my favourite liquid liner!

I have this in the Carbon Gloss and I have to say its the only liquid liner I have ever repurchased! I use it every now and then when I fancy a change and use it on nights out A LOT!! I love the tip of the liner, its like a very narrow felt tip nib, and I find its a lot easier to control than the brush tips!!! I have to apply a few coats of this liner for it to last properly though, which isnt bad I suppose, especially as it just makes the black line blacker!!! Its easy to get the eyeliner liquid on the tip though, dip it into its casing and shake and there you go!!! I really do love this eyeliner, and will be going back tommorrow to get the sparkly one :) x

The one I have is with the gold packaging. To be honest, I don't like this eyeliner, just because it is not waterproof. It is smudgeproof if applied with a primer underneath.

This is not the eyeliner for if you want a stark black eyeliner. Well, I just simply don't use it very often, unless it's for school or I am going out for a short while.

I would rather invest in a waterproof liquid eyeliner,more than this. I got this eyeliner during a promotion at my local drugstore, which is 15 SGD. Not too shabby, but I personally would spend a few more bucks to get a Japanese brand eyeliner which is tested and proven to be waterproof.

This is quite a good liner. The color is very black, it doesn't smudge and it lasts a long time but the application can be a little annoying. You either have to dip the applicator in the bottle two times for each eye or you have to screw the applicator back on the bottle and shake it well. That way the felt tip gets soaked in enough ink that you don't need more. The felt tip is also not that good, it seems a bit too wide for precise application but for a cat eye it works well. I would repurchase but this is far from being the perfect eyeliner, in fact I only use it when all my brushes are dirty and I can't use a gel eyeliner.

I purchased the Super Liner Duo in extra black (I think the duo liner is for Europe only?). The staying power of this product is very nice and that is why I gave it 3 lippies...But the product is otherwise just annoying. I cannot get enough product with one application, I have to dip again like 3 times to get the desired effect. Then sometimes the line that I draw on top of the old line takes away some color and I'm left with a blank spot on my liner. I hate the applicator as well, I don't understand which way to hold it to get either a thin or a thick line :S

Hands down one of the best liquid eyeliners I've tried. I love the intense black color plus I love the packaging since it reminds me of Lancome's Artliner, which allows you to draw a precise line and go really close to your lashline. It is a bit long wearing, though not completely fool proof since I did notice it flaking and fading throughout the day or whenever I'd accidentally rub my eyes. But very, very good nonetheless.

In it's defense I am very unskilled at liquid eyeliner..BUT I found it to be streaky as it does not apply evenly. It seems watery? and when I try to draw a line 1. it's difficult to keep it thin and 2. it's not very opaque, I have to go over some parts several times to make the colouring even... it also seems a little dry so i might have gotten a faulty one? but either way I probably wont be repurchasing this. It's a shame because my friend swears by it and has been using it for years so maybe it's just me.

Very easy to apply at first, but I found that after a couple of applications the brush becomes very dry, meaning that it is necessary to continually re-dip it into the eyeliner, which is very annoying. Also, it does not have a lot of staying power. Would not recommend.

You know all those eyeliner reviews that say 'I've tried everything and this is the only one that doesn't smudge on me', you buy it and it smudges? Well, as someone with very deep-set eyes for whom everything smudges, I'm telling you this is the only one of the MANY eyeliners I've tried that doesn't transfer to my crease. Even after a trip to the gym, it was still in place. I'm so happy I think I'm going to buy ten just in case they ever discontinue it.
