i have repurchased this item already. makes lashes shiney, and separates while giving length. my problem with mascaras is that they tend to clump and fall in my eyes. i never had this problem with this mascara. this is the only mascara that i have repurchased more than once.

So far, I love this mascara. I'm going to hold off on saying that I have found my HG, but I do like it alot. I have really, really thick lashes, so I can't speak to the thickening bit, but it does lengthen and keep curl all day long. I usually get mascara flaking onto my cheeks by mid-day, but I haven't noticed it with this mascara. The first day I wore it someone tapped me on the shoulder to comment on my fabulous eyelashes, so I am thinking it's a keeper. I'm hesitant to say I will definitely repurchase, mainly because of the price. I got it at a discount when I worked for Saks, but now that I'm not with them anymore I don't know whether or not I will do it without the 20% off.

I have tried so many mascaras & in desperation shell out AUD$48 to try this after reading the reviews.
this volumises a bit, but doesnt curl nor does it hold a curl from my curler. it actually produces a look similar to the shu basic mascara (another review) - a natural look with slightly more darker lashes, not a va-va-voom lashes look. for a fabulous look, i have to use my shiseido base to hold my perfect curl then followed with this & then it looks extrememly fabulous! but i was wavering cos of the price. it would cost me AUD$88 (base = AUD$40) every 3 months to get that look. but what sealed the deal (in returning it) is that it flakes! for a mascara at that price, i was disappointed! it flaked into my lens & so i cried & off course discovered panda eyes...so disappointed!
I am on the constant lookout for a mascara that works for me. i have typical asian lashes that are sparse, short & are pointed straight down. Since i wear contacts, i cant stand fibres so thats something i avoid in my mascara & cos i wear contacts & use eye drops, i need something that is smudge proof. So am looking for a mascara that is smudgeproof, non flaking, does not contain fibres, gives volume & holds the curl created by my curler and/or curls my lashes are what i need.

I'm sorry I got sucked into buying this product. I usually know better. It is no better than a drugstore mascara. It does not add volume or do a great job of seperating. the only good thing about it is that it stays on well. You can get the job done better with max factors 2000 calorie mascara for $4.00.

This is a fantastic mascara, though it still comes in second to my beloved YSL Faux Cils. YSL just amps up my lashes a bit more - but Star Lash is nevertheless an excellent choice for lush, curling, defined lashes, not an easy combination for any mascara to achieve. In terms of volume, this is much more dramatic than say, Shu (which is more of a daytime office mascara IMO) but not as clumpy as glamorous as YSL or Diorshow. And unlike a lot of GA products, it's priced comparably to other brands.

Can't believe I never did a review on this. I've used up 4 tubes before I realized I hadn't. Anyway, I have two HG mascaras...this one and Shu. What I love about this one is that I don't have to use the curler, just use and go. It works great. I use the Shu for my "au natural" days. This one is a little "more" but I always get compliments on my lashes because I wiggle it through so it looks more natural not too much. Love this!

I bought Star Lash because of the rave reviews here. For RM79, it comes in a sleek black tube and a slightly curved wand, which makes it so easy to apply to the inner corner eye lashes.
It doesn't smudge, doesn't flake and best of all, it's the ONLY mascara that makes my lashes stay curled ALL DAY! And believe me, I have super stubborn, poker straight lashes that not even highly raved YSL or Lancome works. Volume can be built up upon and it's not at all clumpy (the brush separates well esp if applied in a zig zag fashion). After 2 coats, my lashes are full and curled.
Woah. This mascara is now my HG (at least until I find a better one)! It just blew me away with the effects! Will definitely repurchase time but it's not that readily available though.

Wow, I love this mascara. It goes on well, gives me full lashes, separates nicely, and has pretty good smudge-control, even in this humid climate. Took one star off because it's so darn expensive (not to mention hard to find)!

I got this for a bargain price off ebay. It's a good mascara but I got sick of bits of mascara coming out of the tube and making a mess of everything. I still prefer MAC Prolash. Wouldn't buy this at full price.

IMO, way too much natural, it didn't build up easily. I'm not even using it. Good quality (packaging, brush) but no effect

This is a great everyday mascara when you want natual, glossy lashes with little thickening or lengthening. I love the little brush, very easy to use and separates perfectly. It does tend ot smudge on lower lashes but it makes my lashes glossy and well separated. Very understated even if you apply 2-3 coats. It is very gentle on the eyelashes and does not dry them out like others. A decent mascara but pricey for what you get. Much prefer Shu Uemera Fiber Xtension. I am on my 4th tube of this and probably will repurchase it. I like this for times when I feel like natural looking lashes.

THE BEST MASCARA OUT THERE! I have naturally long and dark lashes, but they lack in "lushness" : this is honestly girls, the best mascara! And i have tried so many, makeup nut as i am :): this beats YSL, Lancome, etc. This is a very nice shade of black, and plumps, volumizes, and even "lifts" my lashes! No panda eyes, and no irritation! Really my HG mascara!!!

This is my favorite mascara. It makes my lashes look long and thick. It does not smudge or flake or ball up on the ends of lashes. It looks great all day and it washes off easily.

i use this with shu, as it doesn't hold curl well enough on its own, but over shu, it thickens a bit more than shu alone, and i can get a really nice separated, yet noticeable lash. quite good in terms of not clumping, mine have had pretty decent life spans, and i will continue my little procedure unless something comes out with similar effects from one mascara.

i LOVE this mascara, i've tried low end and high end, but this is the only one I will stick with from now on. =) It curls without a curler, it lengthens and gives volume without clumping. Washes off very easily. The tube is slick shiny black plastic, very GA cosmetics style. Amazing stuff, LOVE IT! AFAIK, it only comes in black.

Love this mascara. It's the best I've ever used, even better than all of Lancome's varieties. It doesn't smudge, is the most beautiful glossy black, gives a slight curl to my lashes, and best of all, never ever clumps. GA is simply the best line out there.
Age: 30-35 Skin: Combination Hair: Brunette Eyes: Green
The best mascara out there. If applied properly - down to the roots - it gives unbeatable lengthening and separating. Without clumps too. And a deliciously satiny black colour too. Deffo my HG.

I love this mascara! I have long/thin lashes and have a hard time finding mascara that gives me the volume I want. This works great for me, gives me the "false lash" look. Goes on smooth, no clumps and washes off easy, but does not smudge. I have tried several brands from Sephora and am not as pleased with any of them.
The problem...finding it in Arizona. Seems that Saks is the only one that carries it at select stores, you can't even purchase from their website. I have to check ebay a lot and then pay a fortune and make it last!
Age: 44-55 Skin: Very Dry Hair: Red Eyes: Brown
After reading all the rave reveiws on this mascara, I indeed indulged and bought one. It goes on clean and easy, with no clumping. It stays on clean through out the day giving a very soft and natural look. The one problem I have with it, and it's a big problem for me, is it doesn't hold the curl from the lash culer. It actually flatens the lashes out. Seeing that mascara is the only eye makeup I wear, I need something more dramatic then this. I will use my tube up, but I will not repurchase. My next purchase will be YSL Faux mascara.

OK, I personally don't see the whole hype about this masacara. It does not hold my curl as advertised, but it DOES seem to give several effects at the same time- lengthening, volumizing, and definition. However, for the huge price tag these qualities seems to be 'downplayed' if you know what I mean (which means ultimately, this is a rip-off masacara...the reviews is why I bought it btw). I agree with the user who said one coat makes your lashes look spidery and fake, but I suppose it depends on your lashes. If your lashes are really short you might not have the problem. I also don't like the fact that it doesn't separate my lashes at all. Though this sounds so negative, I still gave it a 4 because I have never seen a masacara that could do so many things at the same time, lol. This could be great for some ppl, but not everybody.
