I love the smell of this - that's why I bought it. But it disappears so fast! And because I travel a lot, I realized that bar soap is actually a worse idea than liquid soap, and the fact that LUSH's come only in waxed paper is just annoying. The bar stains everything purple, which I thought was fun and cool at first, but then realized that all that purple stuff was the soap I bought going down the drain/staining the bathtub/the soapdish/pieces of paper I try to wrap it in, instead of washing my body. Also, it's rather drying so I'll probably not use it in the winter. Oh well. If they ever made a gel out of this, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

This is a gorgeously scented soap from LUSH. A real pleasure to you, I used it in the shower to wash all over my body with it from top to toe and it made me feel fab. Also loads of little buds of Lavender and herbs came out of it as I was using it which is lovely especially if you use it in the shower as I did as it makes you feel as if you are being showered in herbs and flowers. I imagine it would be nice to use this in the bath to and have those little bits floating around you to scent the water.
This soap had a really nice organic natural feel for me, that's the appeal of most LUSH products for me that and the quirkiness of some of their stuff such as the shampoo bars.
I am a big LUSH fan and this soap certainly doesn't dissapoint. Smells fab, lathers nicely and lightly to a nice purplish tint, the only thing I would say is be careful where you put it down as once it is wet the purple will leak on to things if you are not careful. It does wash off though.
Ooh La La c'est tres bien. Thumbs up.

I love washing my hands with this soap. I really enjoy the lavender/herbal scent with the hint of red grape lurking beneath. It rounds out the scent, makes me feel like I am doing something luxurious for myself. It lathers well and moisturizes well too. Je l'adore!

Ooh La La is gorgeous to look at -- deep amethyst purple with a sprinkling of dried leaves on top -- and I actually like the purple lather. However, I really don't care for the scent. It's a really strong lavender/rosemary combination that's just too medicinal for my taste. I received it as a gift and will use it up, but wouldn't repurchase.

This deep purple translucent soap is characteristic of Lush: one-note fragrances just won't do. Oh La La's predominant lavender is muted by herbal notes (thyme and rosemary), and there's also a grape note from the juice used for its colouring. It's a pleasant, soothing soap that lathers well. However, I won't repurchase. Its bubbles seem to stain everything, including my wooden soap dish.

Yum yum yum; gorgeous smell and a lovely colour. My only complaint is that it dries out my skin slightly, and for that it just misses the 5-lipstick mark.

What a gorgeous, gorgeous fragrance! Soft lavender, honeysuckle, marigold, rosemary, thyme: how could I not love? It makes the water turn a mauve color, which I really like. Lathers well and doesn't dry out the skin. Great product.

If this is what Heaven smells like .. I'll never sin again!! Ok, maybe just a little, a girl has to have SOME fun ;-) But seriously - this is my HG soap. One of the most beautiful scents I have ever smelled. This scent relaxes me and makes me feel all snuggly and safe. It's hard to explain. Maybe it subconciously reminds me of something else and is triggering some kind of pleasure center in my brain, but whatever it is, it makes me feel GREAT!! Worth every penny! I can't imagine ever being without it. My favorite recipe for a perfect bath? This soap, the LUSH French Kiss bubble bar and a glass of spicy red cabernet. Throw in your favorite book or maybe even some trashy tabloids, and you have a slice of heaven.

I expected to like this more than I did. I love lavender, so the idea of a lavender soap was very appealing. Lush's version of lavender soap involves lots of other herbs as well. Unfortunately, I don't like the scent of those herbs as much as I like lavender. So, while this soap is a beautiful dark purple, it's a bit too all-around herbal to be the soap for me. I'll stick to L'Occitane for lavender soap.

I enjoy using this soap. I love the purple colour it bleeds as your using it and even tho the scent of it can be quite strong I just love it! The aroma of it leaves me clear headed and relaxed. I love it and will continue to purchase it.

I love this soap, even though it has a very strong lavender smell. It goes well with the bon bomb bath bomb for the ultimate bathing experience. It loses one lipstick as it leaves everything it touches purple!!

I expected more of a lavender scent, but I could hardly detect it at all. This bar bleeds out a purple color when used, which I was not fond of. It's an okay bar, but there are much better Lush products.

although i love the smell of this soap, i found it hard to lather and it turned the water purple. i'm not sure if i'll even repurchase just because of how the color runs off ><;

This one is interesting. A very deep purple, almost black. Mine did not smell very strongly of lavender as much as it did of just herbs in general. I don't love it, but I don't hate it. For the price, I think I'll stick to the LUSH soaps that I really love.

Ooh la la Lavender...smells nice, though I'm not a big fan of floral scents. Too much dye in this....I could see these streams of red on my skin. All of the LUSH soaps leave my skin feeling tight just after rinsing.

Oh goodness. I received a sample of this during my last visit to a store. I didn't particularly care for it. First off, it releases a dark color upon use, which washes down the drain but still. It creeped me out a little. I'm not sure what the scent is supposed to be for this but I found it to be warm, almost berry-ish (I think there's some grape in the soap) and I didn't really care for it. Not terrible, but not good imo.

I didn't like this as much as I thought I would. It didn't even grow on me. I love true lavender scents, but usually mixed with something else....I don't remember everything in this but...i don't like it. Mine was way too strong =(
