Nars makes some beautiful eyeshadows, and Night Flight is no exception. Black with blue glitter. So pretty and I like the tiny little compact.

I use this as a cake liner, and it really makes my brown eyes pop. I use it on days I want to kick it up a notch. The mirror inside is really convenient. Great Product!

As a regular eye sahdow I was unimpressed. Other reviewers said that this only shows up black. When I use it as a dry shadows I do see some blue but not much. As a wetshadow it looks amazing! I *love* to use it wet as a liner. Beautiful blue shimmers on a black base.

Anyone who believes that Nars shadows aren't pigmented should try this one. A soft dense black, it makes a fabulous smudgy liner. Applied wet, you see the sapphire blue microglitter too, very pretty. Beautiful on green eyes. My favorite way to wear this is a thick dry line, for the smudgy effect, topped with a finer wet one, for the glitter. So much better than the Bobbi Brown shimmer kohl it superficially resembles. Many brands have tried to copy the 'Night' effect of a black base with colored shimmer, but the original reigns supreme.

In the pan this is a beautiful rich matte black with loads of sapphire shimmer. On the eye there is no shimmer but just a impressive highly pigmented smokey black. I have used it mostly as a liner and to create a smokey eye look. I have not used it wet to get the sparkles. I will edit my review when I tackle that.
So far I love the product and I am glad that the Nars girl at Barneys insisted I purchase it. She stated simply "everyone needs Night Flight". High lippies.

I was never a NARS fan at all; I swapped away my only product (my first swap on MUA, actually) of theres- Night Fairy- practically never used, because it would NOT show up on me, wet/dry both. So suffice to say i was skeptical despite the massive raves NARS had gotten on this site. But between the raves of MUAers and my mom (who has a great taste in makeup) I decided to give it another try...with this shade.
I have been trying a new color combo in my makeup regimen which includes dark blue/navy liners (they make my bloodshot eyes look white and sparkly clean!) and so i was tempted by this sparkly dark black-blue shadow with specks of glitter-- and whats more, its of the same line of "night" shadows that I had bought the first time-- but my results convinced me that one should always give makeup a second chance. :) I LOOOOOVE this shade. I use it as a smokey liner on my upper lids and on the outer half of my lower lids, and create a smokey-smudged 'wing' which blends sooo nicely (after all- it's a shadow!) i can understand how this may be too dramatic for some people, but like most things, it should be used in moderation. But for someone who had been so skeptical of NARS products to be in love with this e/s-- well that says a lot, right? ;)

Beautiful going out shade! Although it was kind of hard to use dry.

Black with blue glitter. So pretty in the pan. The glitter shows when applied wet. Otherwise, is a nice versatile black smoky shadow. I love NARS rubber packaging with the cool NARS logo.

I like this eyeshadow. If I apply it wet over cake liner, I get the blue sparkles. If I apply it dry, it can range from office friendly charcoal to night club dramatic for the smoky eye effect without the sparkles. Too me, it is like getting two shadows in one for this reason. I would tell gals who are unhappy because of the lack of sparkles to apply it wet and then blend with a sponge just on the wet edge to soften it or pat it on with a sponge applicator and dont blend by rubbing it. You will find it is pretty and sparkly like in the pot that way. If you put it on dry and rub it at all, there are no sparkles. I actually like the versatility.

I use this mainly as a eyeliner, I have yet to try using it as an eyeshadow yet cuz even as a liner, the glitter barely shows up. I might as well have used a plain black eyeshadow to line my eyes! I was pretty dissapointed at this, it looked so beautiful in the pan! Mayeb I'll go back and ask the MA about how to use it properly, he seemed really nice when I bought this and the NARS orgasm blush. For now, I wouldn't repurchase, it's a dissapointment.

Stunning color, a rich black infused with micro glitter particles in a fantastic blue. The texture is very fine and silky and it glides on and is easy to blend. However the blue micro glitter does not show up very well and so this just gives a standard smoky black eye which smudges easily. I expected more from NARS eyeshadows in terms of quality.

The Nars Night shadows are always much prettier when used wet, or pressed onto the skin. If you try to smudge and blend, it's likely to turn into a smokey mess. This is a beautiful dark black infused with sapphire sparkles. Beautiful as a liner, either used wet or simply pressed into the lashline.

Beautiful as a liner. I'm too clumsy to use it as a shadow, but if you're good with brushes it's really nice for the smoky look.

I've given up on the "night" eyeshadows. I purchased night fairy, night flight, and night fever and they've all been a major disappointment. The black base is really overwhelming in this color just like it was is night fever. It takes way too much time and effort to make this shadow work for me.

A great after dark blue-black sparkly shadow for creating a smoky Brigitte Bardot look. Some people have complained that Nars "night" shadows aren't pigmented enough-which is true if you're using a regular eyeshadow brush--but if you use a foam-tipped applicator (I know it sounds cheesy and cheap) the blue-black sparkles in this shadow really show up! It also makes a great eyeliner if used with a thin, dry liner brush.

Sucks. These night shadows, the dark ones are all the same shade on, the glitter doesn't show up and impossible to apply as instructed in store, which they wouldn't demonstrate by the way. I was in a hurry when I purchased them so I didn't ask and when I went back I was blown off and told yeah they are hard to apply so this put me off Nars

the blue glitter doesn't show up as well as you'd think it would when used as an eyeliner. it mostly looks black and for that, i was disappointed. i mean, if i want to pay $20 for a beautiful shade of eyeshadow that works how i think it will, it's money well spent. but if it doesn't look even close to what it does when tested, it's not worth it. a blue glitter pencil over black eyeliner/eyeshadow would do the same thing, maybe even more effectively.

Black with blue sparkles. Very pretty, although kind of hard to wear... really only suitable for a night out. Great for a smoky look, wonderful with Mac Contrast shadow.
