I love the Yonka line but have bought both their cleansers and have not been impressed. The lait cleasnser just feels like a cream and in order to feel clean I have to use it twice, a waste for such an expensive product. Everything else I have used it the line had been awesome but I will search for a new cleasner.

Well since first writing this review I have used many a cleasner, but I keep coming back to this one. It does it all, takes off eye makeup, makeup, and makes your skin feel so clean and soft. I have tried so many HE brands and for the price if you have to use it twice to get that clean feel it is still worth the money, I stray but always find my way back to Yon ka

The smell of this is enough to make me sick! Yuck! All those plants and stuff. A big come-on. I like only fragrance free stuff and this stuff is awful. What more can I say!

I don't really like this cleanser. The texture of this feels quite thick and oily and after cleansing my combination skin feels quite oily and sticky. I prefer the gel cleanser than this.

I prefer the smell of this over the gel cleanser that is offered by Yon-Ka, however, it does not last as long and therefore is not as economical.

The main reason that I love this cleanser is that it washes away my eye makeup in a flash. It's gentle on my dry skin. I then follow up with Yon-ka's lotion (toner) for dry skin.

I've tried this cleanser as well as the gel nettoyant. I found this cleanser too be too moisturizing for my skin. After washing my face I felt like there was a thin film left on my skin. I will not repurchase.

This is my HG cleanser. It is a green milk style in a pump bottle (hygenic distribution). For my big makeup-laden face, I use two pumps twice a day. I work it all over my face, including eyelids then I rinse it away or use a facecloth for gentle exfoliating. The smell is soft, natural aromatherapy type. the bottle lasts me about 3 months. At $40 CDN a bottle, it is expensive but I've yet to find another cleanser that makes my face feel this good after washing. Not tight, just clean and refreshed and soft. I have extra sensitive skin and this has never caused a reaction. I love it and have rebought it frequently.

EDITED July 8, 2004 - I've discovered a much less expensive DS alternative to this in Lumene's Moisture Dream Revitalizing Cream Cleanser, available at CVS in the US. I actually prefer the feel of the Lumene at night. I now use Moisture Dream at night and Canada's wonderful Spectro Derm (also drugstore) in the morning and get better results than with this Yon-Ka Cleanser. Therefore, despite the high quality of the Yon-Ka, I will no longer repurchase it.

I like this cleanser because it removes all of my makeup(except my eye makeup, I use a separate remover for this afterward), it’s gentle enough to bring over my eyes (it doesn't burn whatsoever), and leaves my skin feeling moisturized, which makes sense, because it's a creamy cleanser that you can rinse or tissue off. It does not take off my eye makeup, but that doesn’t bother me as I have a separate remover for that. The bottle lasted about 4 months, using it twice daily. I like to try new things, so I will not get this again right now. But if I can't find something else that I like just as much, if not better, I will definitely repurchase this.

I have been using this cleanser for the past 5 months and am happy to report that I have experianced no reactions or breakouts. I have sensitive skin, and this cleanser is very gentle yet does a great job at removing eyemakeup and foundation. Although it is a bit expensive, I recomend it to anyone with sensitive, dry, or normal skin. Very nice cleanser! :)

I prefer this milky cleanser to the gel version. It dissolves makeup like cold cream would, and it's safe to use on and around the eyes. (no stinging)

I have oily skin that is acne-prone, but this has not broken me out at all. I have to get used to not having a foaming cleanser with this...the lotion consistency is thick, but rinsable. My face feels soft and moist afterwards.

I would recommend this for all skintypes....for oily skin like mine, it would make a great cold weather cleanser - it's soothing, and helps to alleviate any flaking dry patches. (Fans of Cetaphil would love this as well.)

I love this cleanser! It cleans my face, removes my eye makeup, and leaves my skin feeling fresh and not "stripped" of all it's moisture. I highly recommend, especially for the combo and normal/dry skin types.

I really wanted to like this product and have used it on 3 separate occasions, but everytime I do I end up with blemishs, thoses wierd red raised lumps that appear. I took this as meaning that the product does not agree with me, I thought it may be the essential oils but it could be the mineral oil as I seem to have problems when I use products that contain this as one of the main ingrediants. I got the small size, thank God, beacuse this stuff is expensive. I've seen the reviews for the gel Nettoyant on this board and asked a beautician to send me some samples, hopefully this won't give me any reactions!

Wow, I can't believe I haven't reviewed this product sooner, as I've been using it for years. I love the fragrance, it doesn't dry out my skin, and removes dirt and makeup well. It's very convenient as I even use it to take off eye makeup (including waterproof mascara); it's that gentle and won't sting. After cleansing, my skin feels clean, moisturized and smooth. It's a bit hard to find, but I've just located a salon within a reasonable distance (20 miles) that carries the full line so I never have to be without!

This is great! I have normal/oily skin, and use this in the morning and evening, with and without makeup, and it removes everything and gets my face ready for any other Yon-Ka treatments.

My husband has oily skin with lots and lots of whiteheads (not much acne though, and I have started him on this; after using this, his face is (1) baby-butt soft, (2) very clean, and (3) the whiteheads are easier removed/softened.

Love it.

I like this cleanser for when my skin is really dehydrated, but I wouldn't spend the money again. I bought it at Bliss Spa after they used it on me. Has a eucalyptus scent.

I love this cleanser. Doesn't remove makeup very well, so I only use it in the morning. Very gentle on my sensitive skin.
