I bought this at Shoppers for 3.99$ in Toronto! it was so cheap (compared to reg. price $10.49!!). I bought 3 lipsticks because it was so cheap, I couldn't decide which colour I liked best so I bought all of them (Just Enough Buff, Satin Plum and Luminous Pink). It's really creamy and goes on really smoothly. It doesn't have any lipstick taste (which I can tell since I hate that taste). The colours are really nice. I would give it 5/5 if it didn't rub off that easily.

I tried Revlon Super Lustrous (creme) because it was on sale. It is as good, if not better than other high-end brands I usually purchase. The color lasted through eating and drinking coffee. It has definitely replaced MAC and Lancome for me, unless I cannot find the shade I want in Revlon. So far I have two different shades, and paid $2.99 for one & $4.54 for the other and I'll be buying another one today. I'm very happy with this product.

I have been using this lipstick and loving it for years! But I bought a replacement yesterday for Softsilver Red and the formula is completely different from the last one I bought a few months ago. I'm not sure what happened but the label on it was even different. It's too bad , it was a great lipstick and color.

My favorite lipsticks I own! All the colors I have are true to their stick color. It's great to shop for new colors because you can see directly into the case.
Colors are pigmented incredibly well, and apply smoothly and very defined. Not super wet but not a stick or chalk. Mild, but pleasant, smell to them. I carry at least two colors with me at all times.
I recommend them to all my gal pals.

The colour selection is great and there is a variety of finishes you can choose from. I sadly won't be buying this again because it completely dried out my lips. If your lips are not sensitive to the ingredients in this lipstick, then this will definitely be worth purchasing.

So sad because of all the rave reviews but this lipstick makes my lips so chapped that the color breaks up into gross little pieces on my lips because it is starting to flake. Even after trying to clear off the skin from my lips with a tissue in order to apply lip balm then reapply- it just doesn't cut it. The color is beautiful "I love that pink" and "Kiss my coral". The pigmentation is great and goes on creamy but after a couple of hours my lips are so incredibly dry. Tried to tough it out for a few days because I just love the color, but alas I will be returning it. Flaky lips with spotty color by mid day is just not worth it.

YES I think I would totally buy this product again, in other colours of course
e.g. certainly red, siren, ravish me red <3
Anyhoo, on with the review
Great lipstick, glides on smoothy, staying power isn't amazing, it does disappear when I eat and it recedes in a patchy way... not flattering.
Not like a cute stain when it goes.
Not too drying because it's not matte but I still recommend you use a lip balm with it. I always use one underneath.
Pigmentation is pretty great, you can get full colour by three swipes. But I appreciate lipsticks having buildable colour (is there a lipstick that gives full colour in one swipe? haha) because I like having the choice to use it as a stain.
I have this in REVLON RED. I don't think it's a very popular/abundant colour because I've only seen one or two pics online of it. I think it's either a blue undertoned or neutral red. Even though I'm warm undertoned this is REALLY FLATTERING. I got a compliment on it. However, it kind of turns fushia on me in natural light? :/ So maybe it is blue undertoned. But in artificial light it's still lovely. So I guess I don't mind the pink turning. I'll definitely opt for a yellow undertoned lipstick next time though
Oh and price. In Australia these are like $20 something. So compared to American prices, I don't think that's cheap :/ It's like your mac or almost your mac over there
Packaging - love the revlon packaging, well atleast for the matte and super lustrous ones. I even like them more than the colorburst because they are so minimalistic, simple and just classy looking. But not in a flashy or posh way.

Revlon Super Lustrous is my all time favorite line of drugstore lipsticks. Quality-wise, these are very comparable to my favorite high end lipsticks from MAC. If I'm ever in need of a new lipstick but don't have the money to shell out for one from MAC or NARS, Revlon is my go to brand.
These lipsticks come in quite the extensive shade variety for drugstore, so I can always find just what I'm looking for (my favorite shades are 'Love That Red' and 'Raspberry Bite'). Sometimes these lipsticks go on for buy one get one free at my local drugstore so I always stock up then :)
PROS
-Sleek, elegant black and gold packaging. It reminds me of that of a higher end lipstick.
-Glides onto the lips like a dream. It has a wonderful, creamy texture that is not drying or uncomfortable in the very least. And the formula is rich enough to pretty much smooth right over fine lines (instead of accentuating them like some lipsticks). And even after having this lipstick on for a few hours it does not look flakey or feel dry.
-Great wear time. I can wear this lipstick throughout my full 8 hour shift at work, with touchups only after I eat. Some people complain that this lipstick feathers and smudges, but I personally don't find it to. Even if it does, that can be forgiven since this lipstick is texturally superb and does last for a good amount of time on the lips. If you do have the bleeding/smudging problem, use lip liner with this.
-Highly pigmented and opaque, you don't need 5 coats for full color payoff. BUT, these lipsticks can also be applied minimally and sheered out or blotted with tissue to be used as a nice stain.
-Affordable.
CONS
None that I can think of.
Bottom line is that if you're looking for some high quality, affordable lipsticks, this is probably the best line on the market. I will continue to buy again and again :) These lipsticks are the MACs of the drugstore.

Love these! They're relatively cheap, don't have a bad smell, and have a wide color selection. So far, I only have Fuchsia and Sassy Mauve.
The Fuchsia one was kind of an experiment, and it looked awful with my skin tone. Trying to scrub it off was definitely one way of finding out these lipsticks have staying power!
On the other hand, Sassy Mauve looks good no matter what I pair it with. It's neutral enough for a casual look, but has enough color where I can wear it out to dinner.

Good Price, nice quality and a classic tube, who wouldn't want that? The color I have is I think it's called "Silver City Pink' or something like that, anyways it;s was a bit colorless on me, so I don't wear it a lot, so I took off a lippie, but that was just my personal opinion, because I know some people like nude lipsticks, but if I had chosen a more colorful color I would've given this a 5

These are my all time favorite lipsticks. I have about 10 different shades and I adore them all. They are moisturizing and have great staying power. I love the classy gold packaging as well.

I adore this lipstick. I love the moisturized feeling it leaves on my lips, and the colors Revlon has developed. I have #626 Cha Cha Cherry, and I must say, it's a beautiful shade of red. Bought my 3rd tube today and :) I also love the packaging, its quite retro-looking.

Finally- a lipstick that WON'T chap my lips~~ Since Nov 1st, I've been having the worst time finding a l/s that will truly moisturize my lips, and add beautiful color w/o drying, flaking, caking. I've $pent too much money on L'Oreal (bad perfumey scent, drying), CoverGirl, Laura Mercier, Estee Lauder, Alba, Neutrogena, etc. . I finally googled "most moisturizing lipstick" & Revlon SL. I've mostly ignored Revlon SL line b/c the packaging is plain (cheap-looking) to me, but at this point I did not care & I chose "Rosedew" color. I've been wearing it as l/s-lipbalm since yesterday evening & my lips are So soft, healed, and the the color is beautiful on my fair/olive complexion. THANK YOU REVLON! Whatever you do to the SL formula, please do not change it! I am just not a lipgloss woman ~~~ This is the BEST lipstick
EDIT 4/14/2012: Still the #1 lipstick (drugstore & dept store) that will not cause my lips to crack, peel and split; i've tried all other brands & formulas and they all, except Revlon SL, do this. I just wish Revlon would change the packaging. I think the moondrops line (green) is prettier than SL (black)...

I bought this lipstick in Mink as a replacement for Bobbi Brown Cocoa lipstick.
BB cocoa lip colour was my HG nude lippie, I loved it but I developed a reaction and I am no longer able to use it.
I am in love with colour and texture of this lipstick it is creamy and moisturising but you have to reapply quite often.
I will be repurchasing and I am glad I bought this little gem.

I absolutely LOVE these lipsticks! I have very dry sensitive skin so I never really used to wear lipstick just because they always felt really thick and drying to me. out of all the lipsticks ive tried revlon's super lustrous lipsticks have been the best. They are VERY moisturizing and pigmented as well! The lipsticks are packaged in a sexy little black and sleek tube that I adore! I have this in "wink for pink" and it is my favorite. Its a creme medium pink that comes out a little bit corally on my lips.

These are a sore temptation every time i am grocery shopping at wal mart... And most of the time, i give in. Honestly i like the texture and formula of these better than my MAC lipsticks (although with MAC obviously you get more creative variety of colours).
.
I think the frost versions of these deserve a 3 at best, but the creamy non frosty ones get a 5. I think they have a colour range geared towards cooler skin tones, and not enough for warmer ones. I think if you have a warm yellow undertoned complexion you will need some time to find a good colour. For example, Fuschia Fusion looks good, but Love that Pink would suit a cooler toned person more.

Dry lip brigade rejoice! A moisturizing lipstick that doesn't ruin your lips, doesn't break the bank, and has beautiful, classic colors that never run out of style. No frou frou, no nonsense. Just a great, beautiful lipstick. I've taken the plunge and started buying these since Spring and I am all the more happy for finding them. The colors and textures are beautiful, and they vary: pearls, creme, shimmer, etc. My favorite are the cremes. Just easier to work with and true to color. I had tried more "luxurious", HE lipsticks in the past, DIOR, Estee Lauder, Clinique, and have been let down. They all creeped into my lip lines and were to drying or two glittery a great deal of them. I don't have to worry about feeling left out of the color selection, like a great deal of other brands(MAC an exception). All the colors would look beautiful on a number of skin tones. I can't complain. And I can find them anywhere. I adore this line.

I really like these lipsticks--they last longer than Clinique Different Lipsticks, but like them, come in natural colors and do not taste weird or dry out my lips. They are about half the cost, too.
I went on Revlon's site and chatted with a rep to get recommendations--my favorite Clinique Blushing Nude was out at my local department store and I thought I could find a decent dupe in these--I did: "Blushing Nude" --not quite as berry-toned as the Clinique, but close. She c/wouldn't directly match another company's shade, but when i described it to her, she came through. The rep also suggested nudes for my coloring: Ginger Rose, which seems to be discontinued, Sandalwood Beige and in the Colorburst line Soft Rose and Blushed.
