not bad. exactly what it says -- airwear is really light and feels like nothing while it provides a bit of coverage. skin looks really great in pics though not as flawless in reflection from the mirror haha.

Meh. I got this because my friends were raving about it and how wonderful it is (before I discovered mineral foundation), but I thought it was mediocre. It's pretty expensive for a tiny bit of powder foundation. Honestly, I've only used this a few times, and already the bottom started showing! Pros: It IS very light and airy. Cons: Couldn't find my shade! It was Ivory to suddenly far darker colors. I got the Ivory because I'm fairly light skinned (BE 1.2, Mac C25, although I think I may have lightened some more), and the next color up matched my friend who was far darker than I am. I figured, since foundation usually turns darker as the day wears on, Ivory would match. Nope. Made me pale as a ghost and accentuated the slightly pinker skin around my eyes. Also, I felt made up. If they had a greater selection of colors, I probably would have liked this more.

I use to use this product. I might go back to it again. I repurchased 3-4 times, that's how much I liked it. Very simple stuff, just swipe and go. Great medium coverage, gives off a matte look nicely. Hides pores, doesn't accentuate any of my flaws. Found my perfect shade. Great stuff, worth a try!

I wanted to like this. I really, really, really wanted to like this. I'd looked at it forever, but put off buying it because it was twelve dollars, for cryin' out loud...however, one day, I just lost my head and made a total impulse purchase. I'll just say this...I'm glad I kept my receipt.

I don't know about the display in your store, but in mine the colors jumped from the lightest, Ivory, to some really dark shades of beige which I didn't think would work for me. Ivory turned out to be a good match, although very pinky...I happen to like pinky-toned foundations (PPP, blue/pink undertones), but if you are warm then it might not match for you.

When I first applied this, I was surprised...I looked so pale! It gave me a nice, light, matte coverage, and it hid the pores on my nose nicely, but still...I looked like a pink ghost! After about ten minutes, it "settled" and looked quite natural....however, that became part of the problem. It "settled", and kept settling, right into my skin and disappeared. After a few hours you couldn't even tell I had anything on, and my skin was very shiny. Well, I reasoned, this IS a wet/dry foundation, so I'll just apply it wet. Same thing...it went on kind of chalky, settled down into a natural-looking finish after a few minutes (with an application of powder atop), and then disappeared after a few hours, leaving my face naked and shiny.

This does have a couple of things going for it....it smells nice, it didn't break me out, and Ivory is a good match. I love the gold compact that it comes in...I don't mind the size and the full-sized mirror inside is fabulous! The sponge is sturdy and the plastic flap over the powder is a great idea. But, all those things can't cover up the fact that this, for me, just does not work. And twelve bucks, for drugstore foundation that disappears? Oh yeah, so going back to the store.

I loved this product but only gave a 4 because it's 12 bucks and It runs out so quickly. I suggest a dabbing rather than wiping motion, it covers better. Also if you have dry skin (I do) the dabbing will not enhance the dryness. Use ample moiturizer and let it set before applying AirWear. The colors are awesome I am of Irish decent with red hair and you have no idea what its like to try and find a match, with this product I did!

I like it because it allows me to get out the door quickly in the morning and the sponge lets me do an all-over face sweep to make sure it's blended in (I'm used to applying liquid foundation with my hands). Because it's winter, I'm currently into the matte, slightly powdered look, so this product is great for me... but I know in the warmer months I will be switching to a different formulation...Also, I've been using it for maybe a month and it seems like I am already scraping the bottom of the pan..how is this? More product for the money would be nice.

I've already repurchased this product. I don't use it as a foundation very often, unless my skin is really behaving itself, but I like it as a pressed powder. It *does* match my skin and doesn't turn orange. I'm super PPP. I love the nice big mirror - I can actually see my whole face. It's great as an oops I wasn't planning the house but now I have to rush out the door foundation. (Yes, you can apply it in the car.) I also like it over liquid foundation.

*EDIT* I really wanted to like this. But finally, after a few applications, I realized that it did break my face out. I have three throbbing pimples on my cheek right now that virtually appeared overnight. Guess I will keep searching.****

This is the first powder foundation that I have used. I have steered clear of this type of makeup because I do have some dry areas on my face and I always thought that a dry powdered finish would highlight the flakey areas too much. But after using RAM for several weeks and going through some hormonal changes, my skin had gotten itself into a funk. No liquid foundation seemed to work anymore, including expensive brands such as Bobbi Brown or Laura Mercier, my previous favorites. Everything I tried seemed to sit on top of my skin and refuse to be blended. After a couple of hours the liquid foundations would become separated and oily. I got sick of the mess and decided to try the L'Oreal Air Wear Powder Foundation because I had previously liked their cream to powder foundation. I also love their lightest color because it is perfect for my pale skin. It is a very creamy, neutral color with no pink undertones. I didn't think I could go wrong for just under $12. I have used it on about three occasions and I am thrilled so far. It has a very smooth, silky consistency and although it can be a little chalky at first it settles on the skin after several minutes of adjusting to my skin's temperature and seems to just sink in flawlessly. It covers very well and the best part is the blendable and buildable coverage. There are no streaks or lines and no matter how closely I inspect my face in the mirror, in any light, I can not see makeup. It makes my pores look small and my skin look naturally flawless. An added bonus is that has sun protection; SPF17. The only matter that I still worry about is whether repeated use will break out my acne prone skin. I will update in a few weeks.

This is the worst powder I have ever tried. It went on cakey and never melded with the skin to look like anything approaching natural. It also broke me out horribly. Will never touch this stuff again!

I was pleasantly surprised at this foundation powder. It had great oil control powers with nice light to medium coverage. This works way better than MAC Studio fix and the price is right! My only problem is that the color selection is very limited. I got 80 Caramel for my NC35-42 skintone, and it looks a little to light and powdery, so I going to use it when I loose my tan in a couple months. For lowend/drugstore and cost, the quality is really good. Like I mentioned before, I do like this better than MAC Studion Fix. And I love the MAC!

I'm surprised this product isn't more highly rated. As a pale, Irish-skinned, very oily person, I love this foundation. I apply it with a damp sponge. I can see that this would be a nightmare for those with dry skin, as it highlights every flake and actually dries out my skin a bit (bonus for me). But it's about the only thing that doesn't wipe off in hour. May be too dry for winter but summer it is great. And it actually comes pale enough. The palest is actually too light! And it actually has adequate sunscreen, something most other foundations lack. I use Mary Kay Oil Control Lotion underneath and exfoliate often. Only negative is that I go through it pretty quickly. Good thing it is fairly cheap.

I am pretty impressed with this. I am very fair-skinned with normal/sensitive skin. I applied this powder with a large powder brush. It evened my skin tone, but didn't provide too much coverage. Matched my skin tone well. Does not last long, though, but no powder foundation will. UPDATE: should definitely apply with a brush. Applied with the sponge included in compact, and it did not spread evenly.

I LOVE this foundation! I'm very pale and this never turns orangey on me, which every other foundation I've tried has done. Also, I think it gives good coverage (which I need)and it doesn't feel oily or heavy and gross. It lasts pretty long, you may need a little touch-up after a few hours. Also, be sure to moisturize good before you use it, as it can look a little flaky, but I DO have very dry skin. All in all this is the best foundation I've ever used.

Overall, this is an okay product, but not for me. It's too light to really provide any coverage, but it might be good for touch ups. Nice color selection, the lighestest matches my very fair skin.

My skin is usully quite clear, but can completely breakout from certain creams or makeup. AirWear was one that very quickly caused tiny red bumps all over my entire face. The next day I exchanged it, and now my skin is beautiful again. Also, it seemed to look a little thick, enhancing dry spots and pores.

This is a pretty good powder, but the only down side is that it does not last very long, so you will need to reapply it. Although I found out that you get more coverage when you tap it on with the sponge rather than gliding it across the skin. This powder is pretty good for those with acne prone skin. It never broke me out once.

Have been using Air wear for about a month so far. I have noticed that my skin is much less oily as compared to when I use liquid foundation.

You can use this foundation applying the the provided sponge (wet or dry), but I find that the most natural coverage I got was with a large bristle/short barell brush (kabuki if you have it). it evened out my skin tone disquising red blotches and even zits. i will definitely be repurchasing.

I use this all the time because it's light and provides a bit of basic coverage. Sometimes I also use it over a thin layer of foundation. It lasts for hours.
