This toner cleared out my skin after the horrible breakout I had from being sick for a week.
It's very refreshing and picks up everything from cleanser to waterproof makeup residue.
But after that fit, I don't think I'll need to repurchase this until I get another horrible breakout.

I love this product. It's dramatically reduced the amount of spots I get and although there is a slight tingly sensation when you apply it, it really does effective remove everything on your skin your cleanser missed. Sometimes I'll just a cleansing oil, a scrub and the SKII cleanser and the toner still picks up whatever's left. It's expensive but definitely worth the price. Best toner I've ever used.

I'm on my 2nd bottle.

this is my HG toner..i had a terrible breakout about 2 months ago due to food allergy which got worse because i use tretinoin..i had to ask my mum to get me the SK2 trial kit tat consists of Clear Lotion, Cleanser n Essence in singapore, coz they run out of it in my hometown..after using it for 3days, i could see a difference in my skin, less clogged pores..then after using e trial size half bottle, i decided to buy e large size, 215ml..it was e most expensive toner i've ever bought but it's well worth it..now my skin is getting better, especially after i combined it with the essence..i guess i'll stick to this toner forever..i know it's pricey, but i read tat 1 bottle can last for up to 1 year..well for me maybe 8months =)

My HG Toner! I have used this for 3-4 years together with my SKII miracle water and facial cleanser.

Unlike most toners I have used which do nothing more than tightening my pores, This toner has BHA which helps to remove traces of dirt and dead skin after cleansing. It has definitely done very well in helping me keep my acne outbreak at bay while not irritating my sensitive skin.

Very expensive at $70sgd a bottle, I usually finish a bottle in 3 months. However it is worth the investment to keep my outbreak away!

Am glad I found this HG toner, will continue repurchasing because it is simply so good!!

My #1 toner. I adore this product as my skin is a lot clearer when I use this toner, compared to other toners. I have noticeably less spots when I use this toner. I'm sooooo glad I found this 4 years ago. Honestly I've tried a few within that time as it's quite exxy at $80AU a bottle, but those toners didn't last long - they cause me to break out so I keep going back to my trusty SK-II FT Clear Lotion. Love It!!

One of my everyday staples. Helps to remove traces of dirt and also exfoliates and clears pores. My skin has less breakouts after I started using this. It's also quite a gentle product and my skin doesn't feel stripped or dry.

The downside, as with all SKII products, is the price. And I seem to use up this toner much faster than all the rest of the SKII products.

All I can say is, in the two weeks that I've been using this product faithfully day and night, my skin actually looks brighter and smoother. I haven't had to use an exfoliating scrub this entire time - and my skin is baby soft.

The price of a full bottle makes me gag ($55 for a toner!), so I'm trying to make my little sample bottle last. Will I break down and splurge on myself later? I don't know yet. I do love the results - it really does work for me. See how I'm trying to talk myself into it?

I have sensitive, oily, acne-prone skin. I like the essence, so I gave this a try. I can't tell you if it prevents acne because it burned my skin by the third or fourth day. It felt fine the first days, but then I got red cheeks after applying it, then my whole face looked sunburned all day for the next days. I thought I got sunburned because I'm using a new sunscreen of SPF30, and I thought maybe it wasn't protecting well. But then I wondered if the clear lotion was the culprit, so I stopped using it, and the next day, my skin went back to normal. I wanted to like it, but unfortunately my skin didn't.

Mild enough but good enough to remove any residuals and dead skin to prepare for skincare. Price is reasonable, too. My skin is very sensitive and loves this.

Verdict: I got this given to me as a sample, and I've got to admit - it's amazing.

I've always been really hesitant with SKII products, because I know that they're renowned for being too strong and cause you to break out.

Problem: But i found with this product - although I did get a little redness on the checks (which I put aloe vera gel to calm - and it did instantly), it's worth it. My skin has never been more radiant, it looks and feels amazing.

Recommendation: Get a sample first to see how you react.
If you can't get one, buy the product because it's well worth it but make sure you tell the consultant your concerns and get it in writing that you can return the product if you break out.

Rarely do I ever give a 5-lippie rating, but this is it. I'm one of the gals who can't live without a good toner. Normally, I just go for the simplest, alcohol-free toner I could find. But then a couple weeks ago, my skin got destroyed by floral water! I know--weird, right? I started breaking out from a mixture of rose floral water and glycerin. White bumps appeared all over. I've tried this combo before with no problems, though. I suppose it was just my luck. Anyway, at first I wasn't sure what was causing the break-out since I was also using new face creams and scrubs. So, I just stopped using everything and started using just this toner, which I'd bought to replace the floral (I had my suspicions). Within two days, this toner totally cleared up my skin. My face is now so smooth when I wash it. I love the way facial cleanser now glides across my smooth skin. I don't even have to scrub anymore. Usually, after a few days I'd feel the need to scrub, but with this toner I won't have to anymore. My pores are smaller and I no longer need to use powder/foundations to cover up little imperfections.. Just some sunscreen and I'm good to go.

My mum gave me some of her clear lotion to try as i was interested in it's alpha hydroxy and exfoliating properties, particularly as i had some old marks on my face that i just couldn't get rid off (consequences of not being able to stop myself picking). I used it in conjunction with the treatment essence and sk II's aqua physics line and so i don't get any over drying out effects or flaking. After about a month (using it twice a day) the old marks have remarkably faded which was exactly what i was looking for. SK II products do work, you just have to give it some time and not expect instant results. I would suggest to use it in conjunction with the treatment essence if you are experiencing some dryness from the product. It helped me in counteracting any flakiness.

This is a very good toner for oily/combination skin like mine. I use it with the SKII essence and I find that without the toner, the essence does not work as well. It does not make your skin dry but still cleans out impurities. Best toner I have tried yet.

This contains acids that's supposed to help clear and brighten up your skin. It's not much but if your skin is on a drier side, it can dry up your skin to the point that it flakes when touched. I used it twice daily as recommended. It might work well for oilier skin but for dry skin, I'd say, get something else.

The best toner I have ever tried, hands down. The combination of salicylic acid, lactic acid and the pitera is great for my oily/sensitive/clog-prone skin - my skin feels smoother and refreshed after using, but not taut or dried out. This would be even better if it were low preservative or paraben free. It would also be better if it came in the larger size plastic bottle which I could only find when I was at the duty free shop in Tokyo Narita Airport.

I like this toner, because it's very gentle and removes dirt and dead skin cells rather well. It also nicely prepears skin for cream.
UPDATE: After using it for a while and trying other cheaper tones I made a conclusion that this toner is not very diffirent from other toners. And sometimes its a little bit irritating.

This is definitely my HG toner!would love to purchase this precious toner again and again!
I'm 22/asian with dry skin. At first, I'm not a toner person because I didn't think a watery liquid like this can do something with my skin, and I thought my face was clean enough with just using a cleanser/scrub. But I'm totally wrong! This is my first toner I ever used and it's gonna be my last. This toner makes my skin tone more even, balanced and cleaned all the dirt. Since I'm using this product, my dry skin has never been better! It really do what its promise, take away dead skin cell and prepare your skin for make up application. no flaky skin on my nose and around my mouth, decrease on clog pores, increases skin balanced, doesn't feel tight at all. I follow with Estee Lauder advanced night repair serum, and I don't need any night time moisturizer anymore!
Cons: the glass bottle packaging doesn't convenient for travel. It's is too pricey for a toner, but worth every pennies!
