I'm really on the fence about this. I used to really love this mascara more than any other...however, I agree with some of the comments stating that Lauder may have changed the formula. That must have been the case. I don't like it as much as I used to, and I may try to find other options. MTM has some decent attributes, but knowing how good it used to be... I'm disappointed.

I received this as a sample for a GWP. Good for lengthening, but not for volumizing. I will not purchase the full size.

I received a small tube of black More Than Mascara with an online Estee Lauder order. I like to use it on my lower lashes, on the rare occasions that I use mascara on my lower lashes. The formula seems little drier than some, so it works well on my rather sparse, yet long lashes on my lower lids. It never smudges and wears fine. When I have tried it on my upper lashes it was okay but I have other mascaras that give me more "oomph" than this. I would not shell out the bucks for this mascara when there are so many others that more as well or better at much lower prices.

Worst mascara ever. Flakes a lot and does not give it any lenght or volume. I got this one free so I am glad I didn't waste any money on this. Not recommended.

My main indicator of a good mascara is being able to hold a curl and this does not do it for me. I have fine Asian lashes.

i got a tube of this from by friend's super sweet 16. i was skeptic about trying this because all the EL mascaras ive tried sucked. mine was in rich black. so i tried it on after i curled my lashes with shu uemura lash curler. it literally did not put any thing on my lashes. i looked liked i have nothing on, not in a good way. it did not do anything. it does not give, length, volume, or simply color. it smudged everywhere, and flaked on my cheeks. this is a failure

I got a small tube of this when my boyfriends mom didn't want it. I was initially kind of excited, because I've never used any expensive brand of makeup. Maybe my expectations were high, but I was a little disappointed.

It's not a bad mascara, but when I looked at the price, I laughed; it's good, but any drugstore brand is just as good.

The brush is nice, formulas decent, but it smudges easily and doesn't do much but darken the lashes, and lengthen them just barely. It doesn't clump, but I wipe off the brush with every mascara I use so that's never been a problem for me.

It's good for an everyday mascara, but not at all worth the price.

I TOTALLY LOVE this mascara it's one of the best I have had it thickens perfectly and no clump what so ever and the brush is pretty nice. I haven't had one bad experience with it. I would totally recommend this but it's a little pricy but totally worth it.

This is the best mascara that I've ever tried! It lengthens, gives volume, doesn't flake nor does it clump. It is probably one of the best among all of the best mascaras in the market. The only problem that I observed about it is that when I yawned one time while I was wearing it, so obviously my eyes got pretty wet, it smudged. It easily disappears in contact with water unlike other non-waterproof mascaras.

This is my favorite mascara for day makeup. For me it was lengthening, while not so much thickening. Perfect for the soft and sweet daytime face.

Overall Rating: (4/5) This mascara does not hold a curl well at all because it is too wet! It's a very natural looking mascara and nothing more than that. I love the brush, however, it's very easy to work with and I feel that it coats my lashes very well.

Price: (4/5) Again, I got this as a gift so I cannot comment on the price.

Packaging Quality: (5/5) I love the metal handle and the sleek looking tube. It's something you'd be proud to pull out of your makeup bag and use in public. The brush is great too.

This is a good casual mascara, but if you want a very dramatic look than I don't reccomend it.

I LOVE this product. It's not the best for the false eyelash look but it is very nice if you just want an everyday mascara that gives you a very pretty natural look with a bit of lengthening as well as just a touch of volumizing. And while it does this it is also conditioning your lashes. Love this!

I got this as a GWP with one of my Estee Lauder packages, and I don't really care for it. It lengthens my eyelashes pretty well, but it leaves them with a "natural" look. Needless to say, I don't really care for that type of look...I prefer more of a spider-lash appearance. This does smear, but then again it isn't a waterproof formula to begin with, so I can't complain. I suppose it was nice to try it out but it definitely won't be the one I reach first in my mascara drawer.

It's o.k. if you're wanting a natural but dark mascara. It's a true black, it separates the lashes, there's no clumping.

I prefer a more dramatic lash effect. This mascara did not provide any lengthening or thickening effect, and it also did not hold a curl very well.

I recommend Sumptuous mascara as an alternative in this brand, for those who want more visible effects and better hold for curls.

UPDATE: This mascara smudges very easily-- more than the average mascara.

I have collected quite a few of sample size More Than Mascaras as GWPs as of late. There is quite a lot to like about MTM, but one major con.

I will start with the pros. This mascara gives a very nice clean, defined look. It is perfect for daytime makeup. I have zero problems with clumping, and the brush is medium sized and easy to use. This mascara also holds up all day without any migration or panda eyes on my oily skin.

Here's the con. If you rub your eyes this smears horribly. I have never had another mascara that smears when touched as bad as this. It is like it is still wet. I rubbed my eye at work and ended up looking like a crack addict. I just touch my eyes too much to be able to wear this mascara on a daily basis.

I REALLY LIKE THIS! when u wear it, u look so natural, and its impossible to make your eye lashes look like tarantula legs :) its good it would recommend this and its not even expensive!

This mascara is probably my 2nd or 3rd favorite mascara of all time. I usually like lengthening mascaras because I have short lashes, but this mascara is so amazing that I rather have a more defined lash than long clumpy lashes. This mascara gives such a clean look, and I swear that 90% of the time that every lash is separated. I am also surprised that my little short stumpy lashes would actually curl up as I demand it to with this mascara. I already finished one tube and now onto the next. I have also tried the magnascopic mascara from Estee Lauder, but it is nothing compared to this mascara.

This mascara is beautiful on the eyelash. It doesn't clump and depending on how many coats you put on, it can make you look like a mystery on heels.

My only qualms about is that, say, you're with your boyfriend and things are getting pretty hot and heavy, don't count on this mascara to stay on. It'll bleed all over the area below your eyes.

But if you're having fun, I don't think you or your mate will care very much!

I am so happy that I decided to try my more than mascara gwp...it has the black mascara and mascara primer...it makes my eyelashes look the best they ever have,long and it does not clump...will be getting the black mascara and navy blue mascara sometime soon...Thanks Estee Lauder for making this mascara,its the best!
