What great stuff! I used skin food on my face previously but the fragrance and essential oils in it irritated me and made my skin itch. This was just perfect. I use it as a nite cream. It cost about $12 for a tube that will last forever. It is very rich so if you have dry skin you will love it. I like to wash my face and put a tiny drop of it between my fingers and rub it onto my damp face quickly. The smallest bit is enough. If you use more than that you will be complaining that is was a greasy mess for you. This feels every bit like a high end product. If you are looking for some extra protection in the cold weather and have dry skin, this is your baby!

I purchased it because I needed somethig to protect my skin from cold. I thought this would be perfect, but it turned out to be very heavy, absolutely unsuitable for my skin. Still, for someone with dryer skin this would be perfect.

This contains only good, gentle ingredients, but is too heavily fragranced. Very medicinal smell--not bad, but not pretty either, and hello, UNNECESSARY. Very cheap, good tube packaging, and very moisturizing. Would keep a tube around for serious winter dryness but not an everyday moisturizer.
The German name for this is 'Cold cream'.

This is my bargain Dr. H. Rose Cream. It's very cheap for what it is. It's a very rich balm like cream. But for some reason, my combination skin likes it (unlike skinfood which breaks me out). I mostly used it this winter b/c I could afford Hauschka Rose cream. You must only use a small amount. Rub between palms to warm and press gently into damp skin. I don't use on areas of my face with open or clogged pores (nose area).

Nope. Not for me. Too greasy. I have oily, acne prone skin, and sometimes it gets really dry, from treatments, and so I got this. It was hard to find, and expensive, once you figure in the shipping and all. It would be great if you are drier, and not prone to break-outs, but this just left me greasy, and eventually, broken out where I had applied. It's currently up for swap.

I am 58, have sensitive dryish skin with rosacea. A sample size of Skin Food had way too many natural additives. After reading the reviews I bought this for a trip to New Hampshire where the temps reached down to 3 degrees. My face did turn bright red, almost burned, as expected but cleared much more quickly than ever before. This stuff is a gentle greasy goo, but when you need it, it can't be replaced. Back in my temperate climate in Seattle I am using it about every third night on my drier areas, and pat it off gently after 10 minutes. My skin seems less irritable and smoother than before. Highly recommended.

I saw all the positive reviews and was suffering from seroiusly dry skin; which is also sensitive and acne prone. I got the local health store to order it in...and I tried it out immediately. I'm sorry to say that it was not the positive experience i was hoping for. My skin got even drier and I woke up with a swollen face that really really itched. I wish it would have worked for me!

I started using Weleda Skin Food based on the reviews at MUA and loved it so I started looking for other Weleda products to try and I'm so glad I did. The Everon Face Balm is uniquely suited to sensitive skin that gets parched due to climate and is prone to breakouts. This is such a soothing moisturizer for my sensitive, mature skin. I use it sparingly but religiously and have seen dramatic results in the moisture content of my skin as well as the texture. A remarkable skincare line with amazing products across the board.

Great cream for my very dry skin. It's VERY rich at first but soaked in beautifully. My skin was flaking on my cheeks and around my mouth and this seems to be helping. I'm curious to see what happens once I've used more of it. The tube is great which eliminates having to stick your fingers in a jar. I also like the fact that it is supposed to be similar to the equally popular Weleda Skin Food minus some of the potentially irritating essential oils. Not too expensive. Around 13 dollars CDN.
So far...very impressed

I went to the health food store to get more trial sizes of my HG Dr. H rose day cream, but alas, they were out.Not even quince(my backup).I have used Everon before in bad wintry conditions and thought I'd give it a try again. This moisturizes as well as rose day cream,so if you have super dry flaky skin, this is for you.It is similar to skin food but without the essential oils,so if those bother this is a good alternative. It is kinda pricey for the amt but it goes a long way,so I guess that somewhat mollified me. I have not tried this under makeup but I suspect it may be a bit too rich for under foundation. This is a godsend for the dry skin on my neck.

I bought a Weleda trial pack at my local health food store--mostly so I could sample Skin Food. However, I tried this one first and I am *loving* it. I use it at night time so it can fully absorb and when I wake up in the morning my face feels better than it ever has with anything else.
I do live in a very dry wintry climate and I'm not sure this wouldn't be too much in the summer months but for now, this is absolutely perfect. AND I received a compliment on my 'radiant and dewy complexion' after a few days of use so something must be working!
If you like emollient moisturisers, I would definitely recommend giving this a try.
**EDIT** I still like this but I no longer use it on my face. Instead I use it on my cuticles.

This has to be the best moisturizer ever, yeah makes face feel greasy but in such a good radiant way - slather it on at night and wake up radiant and with baby soft skin.....HG all the way, I used to love SKIN food, but this is WAY better

I swear I don't work for Weleda...but this is the umpteenth 5 I have given to one of their products. I just love their stuff it's so natural, it's effective and it always smells great! This one is a nice thick balm for the face. Just a little dab makes the skin comfortable and doesn't make me breakout which just about everything except Dr Hauschka's Rose day cream does. Price is good too. Protects well against the sometimes minus 40 degree weather of mid west usa, and I'm British so my skin wasn't used to this kind of weather!
Edit: I wish I could give this more stars, perhaps I'll just take one off my review of Dr Hauscka's rose cream. I was using DH rose cream for quite a few months after using this and it seemed pretty good however I was still getting a few zits and my skins was just OK. I think I was lured by the aroma. Anyway I went back to Everon (or Coldcream as it's known in Europe) and I my skin has improved DRAMATICALLY. Plus the fact that it's about a third of the price or less that DH for the same amount 30 ml. I can't say enought about this stuff. I think it's interesting that although this is the same product in the USA, France and Germany they say different things about it on their webpages. The germans talk about it's fine scent of roses (can't smell that) the french about the fact that sweet orange is one of the essential oils (can smell that) and the Americans don't refer to the aroma at all! To me it smells mostly of geraniums. Oh well, fantastic what ever it is.

Love this stuff... I have eczema on my eyelids periodically (yuck, I know) and creams would either fry it or just hydrate it so the dead skin would flake off. Either way, it didn't look all that nice. While cortizone worked, it was only super-tempoary and it is full of chemicals that I do not want on my skin, much less around my eyes!
This hydrates beautifully and has HEALED the eczema. I use faithfully to hydrate eye area now. It goes on a bit like vasaline (sp?), but does sink it. Only $10 bucks for a tube that will last forever. Bet you the metal tube gives out long before the product does.
WOuld definitely repurchase. Very happy w/Weleda all around.

I love this!
I use it every night after a wash my face. I have dry skin and this is wonderful to me. It is a little costly for a cheap-o like me but I need it!
I little dad covers the whole face though. My skin is glowing when I wake up in the morning.

It's a little greasier and ointment-y than I expected, but provides a fine barrier between the cold winds and my face. I always moisturize well before I put it on because it's concentrated and it takes a while for my skin to absorb. But when it finally gets into my skin, it does help rejuvenate it. Good product, reasonably priced. I'd just like something a little creamier.
ETA: Moved up a lipstick because it is a fantastic winter protective layer over moisturizer.
