Not impressed with this shadow at all. While this e/s is very well pigmented, the texture leaves a lot to be desired. It's not as silky and blendable like MAC or Smashbox shadows, instead, the dryness of the texture makes this almost impossible to blend evenly. It's a muddy brown color that does not flatter my LLL complexion, this would look better on darker skins. It probably would be good for filling in brows, but as an e/s, this doesn't impress me at all. For the price this is certainly not worth it.

The perfect brow colour for me too. I tend to be heavy handed with brow colour and I find this is practically foolproof!

I bought this eyeshadow based on the reviews I read here. In the past I haven't had much luck with NARS eyeshadows but I love this one! Its a great crease color, adds drama without making me look dirty. I love the packaging so cute!

I use it as a shadow, sometimes a liner and for the brows too...very versatile, and overall a great product.

This is a perfect matte grey/brown that works well as a liner or a brow definer. I prefer Bali over MAC Charcoal Brown as an eyeliner because it goes on a bit smokier and deeper. There are no yellow/red/orange tones to this brown, and in fact it won't look like a brown liner on but instead will look like the natural shadow of your lashes. Excellent for those who suffer eye redness, because the lack of warmth in the brown will tone down the look of irritation. I use this dry and applied with a fine blending brush to the outside corners of my lashline and the results are natural, defined and eye enhancing without being obvious.

This is a excellent eyeshadow. I have found all NARS eyeshadows to be of good quality with a high pigmentation. Bali is a particulaly stunning brown colour, easy to blend with other colours and has become a staple in my make up bag.

Bali is a cool toned ashy brown, nice for lining eyes, and especially nice for girls with brown hair looking to enhance brows, it is not near as warm as the more red based Bengali and therefore works better in brows. This and Blondie are my favorite brown enhancing shadows by NARS.

I spent forever looking for a certain color brown eyeshadow, and I finally found it here. Now that I'm older and I don't wear much makeup as I did when I was a teen, I use this as an eyeliner and its perfect. Its a bit pricey, and the packaging is ugly IMHO (I like girly looking things). Otherwise, very nice.

I bought this as part of my bridal makeup. It's such a plain, boring color that I wasn't impressed with it at all, but the SA convinced me that it would go well with the rest of the eye makeup, which I did love. Three years on, the only one I still use is Bali. I've grown to love it. It looks like the most boring brown ever in the pan, but when I put it on, it's got the perfect cool undertones to make my blue eyes pop without making my eyes look bloodshot (a real peril for me). It is sheer, so I can use it as a "what, me wear makeup" eyeliner, but it builds for intensity when I want to go for a smoky eye. It also looks divine with with Nepal and the Tokyo duo.

I'm nearing the end of my first pan, and I will most definitely replace it.

I also agree with the previous reviewers. :) This color is a very-dark-brown that I use to line and contour. I also use it for my brows...much more natural than black (although my hair is black - go figure). Lots of pigment so you only need very little and it lasts all day. Also can be used wet for more intense color.
