I own several of these, in very boring neutral, matte brown shades. While they are good shadows, nice texture and decent lasting power, I think you can find drugstore versions that are equally as good.

Perscriptives Bellini Eyeshadow is the only shadow I use from this line. It's an irridesent peachy cream/beige. I like to apply it all over the eye area with a large brush for days for a natural "no makeup" look. It goes on easily and lasts a long time.

I really like Prescriptives eyeshadows. They go on really smoothly and are easy to blend. They have pretty good pigment, too. With the ones I have, I don't have any trouble with creasing. I do like the fact that you can buy them in pans because I like to make my own palettes. The only negative is that they are slightly more expensive than MAC eyeshadow pans. I will continue to buy more of these.

Poor forgotten, oft-overlooked Px. This line sits in a corner, hoping people will come visit, but not going out of its' way to get them there. I don't use much from this line -- nothing wrong with it, I just haven't been "wowed".
For the price & selection, I would generally choose other lines. However, one day whilst tinkering in the cosmetics department, something caught my eye. New ice-creamy colored eye shadows. I love ice cream, so I sampled. And was pleasantly surprised. I bought two shades: Slumber (a gorgeous baby pink with golden flecks) and Wishful (an azure blue).
Both blend superbly, wear well, and make my blue eyes pop. Wouldn't make this my everyday pick, but it's a really fun distraction, when I need it. I imagine there are other as-of-yet unearthed treasures in this line. Maybe some day, when my fave lines are slow, I'll discover more. For now, I'm quite content with my current Px "Pick 2's".

Though I'm normally a mac/stila/benefit fan, I cannot believe how ingenious Prescriptives is! They allow you to customize your own eye shadow and blush palette...something that has saved me from buying palettes that just aren't suited to me. You can pick two shadows and a blush for a personalized look and the whole thing is refillable. The consistency of the eyeshadows and blush is gorgeous, very soft and silky, with great staying power. The eyeshadows (I chose "slumber," a light lavender with gold sparkles, and "umbrella," a shimmery gunmetal) really light my eyes up without making me look overdone. The blush I chose (rose dust) just makes me glow....it's the most natural looking blush I've ever used. The brushes included are actually high quality for how small they are...a rare thing for palette brushes. I can't believe how overlooked prescriptives can be as a brand...they really are on target with the make your own palette idea. A must have for every girl!

My favorite of these has always been Mushroom -- a lilacy grey. Px shadows are very, very silky with medium pigment, I'd say, and average wear. An old favorite that I somehow grew out of along the way.

I love Prescriptives shadows. They have some beautiful and unique shades, a good variety, and the application and wearability are very good. They do seem to discontinue shades quite a bit though, and that can be annoying! The only other small gripe I have is that they are sold only in pans and you have to buy the palette separately. This isn't really a big problem though since they fit in MAC palettes, and I have plenty of those and just use them.

The shadows are gorgeous, and they go on like silk. They remind me of MAC and Stila. The shades I own are Rose Smoke a rose brown with little sparkles, and Luncheon a soft peachy pinky rose. I like to wear them together for a great everyday look.

I have slumber which is a very sheer lavender with pretty sparkles. When I saw the pretty shimmer in the department store I fell in love... Even the name "slumber" made me smile babyishly... Best for people with fair skin and cool undertones- Im a pastel princess and dont wear anything but light soft colors. I would definately buy it again. The only thing is they dont sell ONE eyeshadow compacts... You have to buy two to have something to hold it in...lol! I didnt see any other color that I had to have.. (I have soooo many eyeshadows...) So I have a missing space that is awkward!! lol...

These eyeshadows are pretty good. I appreciate that they are packaged in pans that fit in the MAC Pro Palette. The color selection is pretty good, though there are a bit fewer to choose from. I have Cloud and Fire. Cloud is a sheer white with gold shimmer--I tend to apply it more for the shimmer than the color white. Fire is a shimmery warm nude brown, with gold shimmer. Prescriptives eyeshadow isn't bad, but if possible, go for MAC or Stila--eyeshadows in these lines are more pigmented and long lasting than Prescriptives.

I love Px eyeshadows, beautiful color selection, no creasing and they last all day. My favorites are Fringe and Clove.

I bought the 2 shadow compact with Hocus, a delicate, soft, and very pretty pinky-taupe color with some shimmer. I use it at a base color, or alone when I want a little bit of attention around my eyes, but it is pretty natural. Used with a shadow base, it would have a deeper color and last longer (I tend to get a crease after about 5-6 hours).

These are nice, although I found them to be a teeny bit sheer... They are nice natural looking shadows, and I'm enjoying using them!
