Really liking this shade now that my tan has faded. Definitely a rosy-cheek glow. More of a cooler tone and perhaps better for either very olive or very fair complexions. I've become addictedto these since using Dollface (a must-have). This has a bit of a glossy finish till it sinks in, then it looks completely natural and very beautiful. A very in-from-the-cold look. Never broke out from these. You really have to try them on to get an accurate color swatch as they apply sheer so your own skin tone really factors into the final color, unlike other creams (BB, Stila, NARS, MAC) which are more milky and opaque. Because these are sheer, they do not offer as skin-smoothing an effect as a powder or previously mentioned cream blush, however the glow and natural blush they impart leaves them as my favorite blush to date. I never feel too made-up and you can really get an intense flush with the deeper tones.

I like this blush, and have been wearing it regularly for about six months.

It is totally unique in that you can get a translucent, natural flush! It's doesn't sit on top of your skin like powder or even some creams.

I have very pale skin, and it gives me kind of a Snow White look.

My only criticism is that it's sometimes sticky. I have combination skin, and think that maybe this wouldn't be a problem for someone with dry skin. You can remedy the stickiness by dusting a little powder blush or translucent powder over your cheeks, but then you lose ethereal, lit-from-within glow. It's such a bummer that I've stopped wearing the blush regularly. :(

But still, I recommend it and hope to find a way to make it work for me again!

For those over 56 and afraid that this blush will look harsh - have no fear.
It is Superb.
Goes on lightly, looks totally natural, is excell. for those with Dry skin and lasts forever.
Colour is much lighter than it appears.

I remember having this a looong time ago & didnt really know how to work with it cuz it never looked right. It looked like someone slapped jelly on my face =(( Maybe this wasn't the right color but I liked the idea of this blush as being a stain..

I'm nearing 25 and just started wearing makeup recently. Not being used to the feel of makeup on my face, and honestly disliking most conventional products I've tried, the idea of a stain was very appealing to me. I was especially attracted to Tarte because they're more natural, and having two children they'll come into contact with it at some point during the day (for example - while carrying my baby, or when my eldest decides to play dressup with my makeups).

This shade (blushing bride) looks great on my light-medium and yellow toned skin (I'm half Filipina). It is very natural and flattering. This shade also looks good on my much darker skinned mother, but requires a slightly heavier application. My light and yellow skinned daughter has played with this and it ALSO looks great on her. I should mention I noticed with her that application is very simple and goof-proof (a child literally could do it!). The color is sheer so it takes a lot of effort to over-apply, it blends easily, and as I said the shade looks great on different skintones.

The stain is very lightweight when applied and when dry it feels like there is nothing there. I tend toward acne on the cheeks and this doesn't cause any nor aggravate it if I'm breaking out.

There is a light fruity scent which I enjoy. It does seem to make it more appealing for my little girl, so she's grabbing for this one a lot. I'm not concerned about it though as you get a TON for the price.

LOVE the application and look of this product. also have it in Doll Face (after I colored my hair this cool-toned pink suited it better). absolutely natural, beautiful color

only complaint: doesn't last the whole day. well, you can't have everything right?

I have been collecting Tarte Cheek Stains for a while and I use Blushing Bride quite a bit. It's highly pigmented while still being sheer. It's a peachy red and looks very natural on my super-fair skin.

The consistency of this one is not as sticky as some of the others and it has the same consistency of Flushed but is a bit harder (which I like so it doesn't melt).

One mystery to me. Despite the fact that Blushing Bride and Blissful look totally different in the tube, they look very similar on the cheeks. (see my uploaded comparison at the top right, 2nd picture.) Even so, I love them both and think that this one is a bit warmer and less bright.

Scent is lightly fruity but no specific fruit smell that I can say what it is for sure. I'm giving Blushing Bride a five star rating as I really love the color, staying power, lifespan (this tube will last forever), ease of use application, nice packaging and of course the natural ingredients in it.

This color is pretty highly perfumed and it does NOT work on the lips.

As always thank you Tarte for the wonderful products. I lovvvvvvvvve Cheek Stains more than any other product on the market and no, I am not affiliated in any way to Tarte.

At 55, I'd given up on blush. Powders looked chalky and uneven regardless of the brush or color and cremes seemed to sit there unblended or pick up any flake along the way. I tried this at Ulta and I was delighted. The color looks quite natural and it is not a stain like so many other stains that end up like jello spots. I thought Flush was too pink but Blushing Bride is quite natural on my fair skin. Regardless of the color you choose, and there are about eight or so, and whether you have oily or dry skin, I don't think you can go wrong. The package says you have 20 seconds to blend before it sets and I believe that is accurate.

Another great cheek stain from Tarte. This is a rosy pink. I used to use my fingers to apply but now I just dab it directly on the cheek bones and then use my fingers to blend only when it's necessary. Such a natural, beautiful color. Just the right amount of pigmentation. I just wish they wouldn't bleed so. I have to wipe off the cap as with the other Tarte cheek stains before use. But this is still the best cheek product out there. Would definitely repurchase.

I got this mini in a MUA swap and couldn't be more excited about it!

It looks like a dark plum in the jar and glides on the skin as a sheer plummy/rosy pink - I'm an NW20 in MAC. I love how easily blendable it is - just smear some on cheek, and dab it in to blend. My skin looks radiant and dewy and very natural as it has no shimmer.

Don't know how it would look over foundation if it would smudge the base at all ...) but it looks great on plain moisturied skin, or over my tinted moisturizer.

It has a lovely fruity scent, too ... but don't know how desirable that is for "natural" makeup. The mini is portable so easy to work with.

The price is steep for the larger bottle but I've been using the mini daily and it has great lasting power. I'd say if this is a product you're going to use a lot of than it's worth it :)

This blush is great. Don't let the deep reddish purple scare you, it goes on very naturally! I pretty much love all the Tarte blushes I have- they blend really well. This color gives you a flush that looks rosy but has a little bit of a purple tone too. I'm an NC35 and it looks great on me.

This is only the second brand of cheek stain I've tried so far (the other being Stainiac which I also really like) so I don't have much to compare it to on that front but this blush is my absolute favorite. It blends easily, the color looks natural and adds dimension to matte foundation. It can be worn as light or dark as you choose to build it up and goes on quickly without too much fussing to get an even application. I've applied this using a sponge, stamping some color on the apples of my cheeks and blending with fingers or sponge or just tapping onto my cheeks with my fingertips. All of these work well but I prefer tapping it in with my fingertips. It seems like I get better control of how much product I'm using and where it goes. This stuff is sticky for a while as other posters have said. Easy to fix with a clear setting powder but it does go away after a bit if its well blended . I use this on my lips also. Not great tasting but The color is a pretty plum/ berry. Can't wait to buy other shades in this line.
**Update 8/2/10
Since I bought this stain every other blush I have except for my bronzer has been collecting dust. I just bought 2 more colors including the Sunkissed stain to replace my regular bronzer. Tarte has a great sale on their site right now so you can't beat getting this stuff at 40% off. I hope the others are just as nice. I have yet to find anything that lasted as long and looked so natural. I have since switched application methods and prefer using my bamboo foundation brush. I find it gives the most controlled, even application and is really quick but this is pretty fool proof any way you do it. When I first bought this I choked over the price but 5 months later after constant use I haven't even put the slightest dent in this blush stick. I also suggest storing this in the fridge to keep it from melting or sweating.

After admiring them for a long time, this is my first tarte blush and I'm very pleased. It smells like a bowl of berries, and builds fantastically. The colour is a pinkish berry wash on me and its just what I've been looking for since clinique killed their line of gel blushes. over foundation, tinted moisturizer or just plain old moisturizier and bare skin it perks me up and makes me look better rested. I can't wait to try more shades!!!

UPDATE 4/12/12: I recently asked for suggestions for a cheek stain that would work for a neutral to warm look as I was looking for a simple summer makeup look. I had bought Tarte Blissful cheek stain last year, but it felt a bit too orangey on my NW20 skin some times...especially in the non-summer months. MUA'rs rec'd this shade to me so I dug it out (full of doubt that it would work with my summer look...I mean how could this plum berry stain go with my coral lips & bronze shadow?). They were right! It transformed from what I had in my head (this dark wintery shade) to this soft uber natural berry flush that works with my look no matter how cool or warm my makeup is swaying that day. Who'd a thought! Thanks MUA!

ORIGINAL POST: I received this as a free sample size (which at the rate I am using it seems to last forever) from Beauty.com when I placed an order. I am NW20 with dark brown, almost black hair, brown eyes. I love this stuff. I never wear make up to the gym (just concealer), but I slapped some of this on and I looked great! I actually "noticed myself" in the mirror...in a good way. It gives me a nice soft natural blush...it really does look very "from within"...after sex kind of glow. I also love this for winter for a glorious fresh faced look with out the powder feel. I also like the way mine smells. I NEVER would have tried this if I did not get a free sample, now I think I don't ever want to be with out this. Thank you Tarte! (and beauty.com) :)

APPLICATION TIP: As with most make up I apply (that isn't a powder) I have found a the Tarte Cheek Stains apply best with a moist sponge. I have a small spray bottle I keep with my make up (filled with filter water) that I spray gently onto my sponge to moisten it. If it is too wet, I will dab it on a tissue. Then I swipe across the Tarte Cheek Stain & dab on my cheeks going up along the cheek bone. This method gives me perfect, soft, even, flawless application every time.

Smells good, extremely sheer, gives you a natural, lit-from-within glow. It's really a very pretty color, I just wish it showed up better/ more. Even though I'm fair skinned I need to keep layering it on to get the color payoff I want. It's also sticky and remains that way after I apply it so I have to dust my Palgatong Theatrical finishing powder heavily over it. To be honest I've had mine for a few months now and I barely use it because the sticky texture bothers me so much. It also tastes horrendous by the way, so there's no chance of using it as a lip stain. The packaging makes for convenient application and you get a lot of product, but it's still not worth the full retail price. Actually, I wouldn't repurchase this even at a discount.

I can't believe I haven't written a review of this before. This is my HG blush. This is a perfect match for my skintone. It is the most natural looking blush I've tried. My only complaint is that it's not long lasting and I have to reapply during the day, but it's easy to take with you. I scoop out a small chunk and put it into a little screw top containter and throw it in my makeup bag.

I've been using this daily for about 3 years and I don't think I'm even half way through the container. It may be pricey, but you get a LOT of product for the price.

Like others have said, this blush gives you a healthy, glow-from-within look. I like to use it in the winter to give my cheeks a rosy tint. I apply with the rounded end of the weird Sonia Kashuk blue sponge. I feel I can control the color a bit more when I apply it with a sponge. It is a good product, and I would like to try some of the other colors.

I love this blush. At first I thought it would be too dark and when I put it on it did seem so. But then it miraculously sank into my cheeks and gave me the most beautiful, natural flush of color. I have been using it almost all the time since. I love it and will definitely repurchase. I dropped it a lippie because the price is steep but it lasts a long time so the price will probably even out.

I like this! The application definitely takes some getting used to (I still haven't perfected it), but it gives me a more natural, doesn't-look-like-I'm-wearing-blush-but-noticeable, dewy color. Still, the $30 is super steep for me... Even though, considering how this is packaged, it will probably last me forever (so I guess it evens out).
