This is not a product to buy if you have oily hair cause you'll feel it. I generally avoid this on my scalp and use it starting from the middle of my head down. It is a really great cream for styling and adding shine. I follow afterwards with a light shine spray. The packaging sucks. It is a pump, but the stuff started just leaking into the top for no reason. When I travel, I always carry this around cause it is a cream that is very versatile.

Thanks to all you gals who gave me the thumbs-up to try this...it's as you promised. Like many of you I have very wavy/ borderline curly hair and could never duplicate the "just from the hair dressers" look. This brings me as close as I've ever gotten...nice job. For those of you who want to give it a shot, but don't want to add another unused product to the black hole in the back of your bathroom cabinet, check out the more than gererous 'trial size' for around 2 bucks at Rite Aid or other drugstores. Good Luck!

I hate to break the streak of rave reviews for this straightening cream. But this does nothing for my very poufy, frizzy hair, it only made it sticky and not soft at all. I have hair down to my mid back and used about a quarter sized amount to blow dry but my hair does not lay down smooth w/this cream. Maybe its my hair, its particularly weird, (fine yet kinky and very puffy). Actually nothing gives me hair instant results, even my current blow dry cream (Beyond the Zone, Straight Shot) gives me a good hair after a few hours (weird isn't it?).

Another rave for this marvy product. I have naturally wavy/fluffy hair, I don't blow dry it super straight, I just want it to look smooth and sleek, and this is ideal. At first I didn't like it as it seemed to give me greasy hair, but then I realised that I'd been using too much. A little goes a long way. I'm on my second tube and will definately buy again.

This is a great blowdrying cream. As for taming frizzies, since I don't have majorly freezy hair I can't say if its excellent at this but it does make my thick hair feel soft and smooth. I used this on dry hair though it says to use it on wet. It definately makes my hair mangeable and straight! I got the travel size which was 1.99 for 50 mL. Funny because its 9.99 for 150 mL. The sent is a little strong, and covers the sent of my biolage shampoo but it still smells nice. Definately worth the try esp if you get the travel size!

This truly is a remarkable product. I have extremely coarse, thick, wavy, stubborn hair that is unresponsive to most products. Phytodefrisant, Matrix Sleekline, Biosilk, Frizzease...nothing worked. But after I apply a few pumps of the Sleek and Chic, blowdry, then use the CHI, I have salon perfect hair, which I was unable to recreate myself before. If you think that your hair is hopeless, you must give this a try.

I love this... I have stupid fluffy wavy hair and this is the only product which gets may hair straight without horrible residues and leaving it lank and greasy looking. I can even use this without the hair dryer and it leaves my hair smooth.

I bought a mini sized version of this when I was on vacation without straightening balm. Although, I usually use Redken products to straighten my hair, this cream really made my wavy hair a lot straighter, shiner, and sleeker!

i absolutely LOVE this stuff!! i have tried EVERYTHING on my fine, curly hair and nothing seemed to work until this stuff came along. i've bought almost everything you can imagine to create a straight non-frizzy hair-do and this worked perfectly!!! it's not too expensive and my hair is now perfectly straight and frizz free. wonderful....BUY IT!!! IT'S AWESOME!!!!

Feels like Elmer's glue, smells like Pine-Sol, but WOW does it work. It smooths and straightens my wavy, coarse, thick, flyaway hair so well that I can actually leave the house without using my straightening iron. It even works with the "warm" setting on my blowdryer. This is definitely going to prevent a lot of heat damage. I got a travel-size tube at Rite-Aid, 1.69 oz. for less than $2, and I'm guessing I'll get at least 8 uses out of it. My only gripe is that I find the smell somewhat unpleasant, but at least it fades after blowdrying. UPDATE: my fiance said "wow, you smell great!" after I used this, so I guess I was wrong about the smell!

I got this in a regular tube, apparently they changed the packaging. This is really the best hair defrizzer cream I've ever used. Now that my hair is chin length, I don't use it as often, as I like a stronger hold, but this is great for soft, non-frizzy styles. Great if your hair is naturally wavy like mine.

This has to be the best finishing cream out there. My hair is silky smooth with no frizzies when I blow-dry it straight, but even better, when I let it air dry, I get smooth, unfrizzy curls! I have never tried anything else that will do that for my frizzy, wavy-in-some-spots, straight-in-others hair. And it's pretty cheap at Rite-aid.

I have fine shoulder-length hair with a bit of a wave/frizz (not enough of a wave to be pretty). I always blowdry my hair straight and have used this product for a while. I find that I only need 1 pump of product in the lower part of my hair, while the directions say to use 3-4 (IIRC). The packaging is great because it's a pump with a clear container, so you can see how much product you have remaining. The bottom of the container pushes the product up so that you use every bit of it (no waste).

I saw this advertised as Allure magazine best defrizzer and ran out to get it. I was surprised at how awesome this product worked to make my hair super straight and frizz free. It does have to be used with a blowdryer and does contain silicone which should not be used everyday or it will weigh hair down. But for the price $10.00, it is wonderful and really does it's job.
