I was curious to see what other reviews said about this product...and just as me, a lot of people noticed the same thing I did...the film it left behind! It's disgusting! I noticed it at first when I was shaving my legs and the razor got clogged up and this had never happened to me! Even the razor got covered in this disgusting residue. As for my tub...GROSS! I was washing my hair dye out and the tub turned brown because the dye stuck to the wax the body wash left behind. My mom was using it too (we got 2 bottles for $9 on sale) and she told me she was going to return it...she felt her skin filmy too. Definitely never buying again...

I had coupon for this, so I decided to give it a try, hoping to find a less expensive alternative for the Philosophy bath gels I like. Well, this is going right back to the store. It smells and feels nice enough in the shower, but immediately after I got out of the shower, I noticed my skin had a strange, waxy film all over it. My skin didn't seem particularly moisturized or smooth, just covered with a coating that felt really nasty. Several hours later, the stuff still feels like that, and I'm worried that my skin isn't able to "breathe" underneath it; it doesn't seem healthy, somehow. I noticed several other reviews where people are saying they have to take extra to clean their tubs of gunk after using this...Yuck, that just can't be good for you.

left a film on my skin. i didn't realize it until i used another body wash. the OoO sensitive left the same film. i loved how soft OoO body washes made me feel, but i guess i would feel soft if my body is coated with something. this bodywash just makes me feel like i'm not really clean. hate it. oh...this one really stinks.

HG. Super-moisturizing. Have to de-gunk the bathtub more often now, though. *lol* No problem. Scrubbing Bubbles for soap-scum removal, or Scrub Free for soap-scum revmoal, works fine for that problem. ANYWAY, back to Olay: this stuff's awesome. TOTALLY notice a difference if I ever (RARELY) have to go without it -- for instance, if I (incredibly stupidly) leave it behind when taking a weekend trip. My skin is very soft and smooth, and this stuff helps maintain that. :D

I wanted to like this product as I liked its moisturizing-yet-not-greasy properties and light scent, but sadly it broke me out in the worst case of body acne (ew!) ever. I gave it two lippies anyway as I believe I may be sensitive to shea butter and that doesn't make the product *bad*, just bad for *me*.

I'm glad I didn't get the product for Extra Dry Skin because this stuff left my skin with a waxy-coated sensation. I didn't find it that great for my dry skin either because my body lotion just laid on top of my skin and couldn't penetrate after I used this body wash. A waste of money!

I looooooooooooooove this bodywash! It smells so clean and fresh. I have very dry legs during the colder months. NY weather is brutal! I've used this for the past three weeks, and my legs are a lot less flakey. Yay!

One of the only Olay products I've tried and liked. It's inexpensive, smells really good, and doesn't dry my skin. It even seemed to clear the breakouts along my arms. I would recommend it to anyone.

This is my favortie body wash. I never use anything but. This is also great as a shaving gel/lotion. The only problem is it does leave a thick residue in the tub but i guess thats all the moiturizerizing shea butter. Having to scrub the tub is sooooooooo worth it. This is by the best moisturizing body wash.

i bought this in a $10 costco pack (two huge 32 oz bottles and one normal sized 8 oz one) and i am in love! i used to use smelly body washes that matched whatever perfume i wanted to wear that day, and apart from philosophy 3-in-1s they usually left me itchy and don't lather well for the most part (you're paying for fragrance not cleansing power i guess). this stuff smells great, but won't compete with perfume, is uber-moisturizing and CHEAP!! now i can save my super expensive matchy-matchy body washes for special occasions or days i need a pick me up and i don't feel like i'm depriving myself. :)

I have bought this wash several times and I like it a lot. I live in Montreal and it gets very dry here in the cold winters from all the heating, so I need something extra moisturizing for my skin. The shea butter in this wash does the trick. Other "gel" type washes dry out my skin, this one is very moisturizing. Good overall product. I like the smell as well, it smells like shea butter.

This prodcut doesn't smell too good, doesn't moisturize and doesn't leave my skin feeling clean. It almost feels as if it has no cleansing power.

Although this product has no noticeable scent--I love products with great scents (forever angry that the youngsters at Estee Lauder discontinued "Knowing Shower Gel", as the entire house would smell like the fragrance when I showered)this inexpensive product is, as drug store items go, a pretty good moisturizing soap for the 35+ woman...a nice moisturing soap. Shea butter is an excellent moisturizer. I would prefer a pump bottle (I have the huge bottles which are heavy, with flip tops).

I absolutely love this product. I am now a big fan of Olay body products. I use the Complete Body Wash for extra dry skin and my it is the best I have ever used. From spending $35 and up on high end body washes this was a great find. After showering I top it off with Olay's Quench Body Lotion for extra dry skin, absolutely love that too. I buy mine at Sam's club and get 2 for almost the price of 1. ;) I keep a stock pile of this stuff at the house so I never run out.

I have very dry, sensitive skin. I purchased this product after reading the reviews, and I agree with the majority of reviews preceding this one. I have tried many products, including Johnson & Johnson's new body wash, and have been disappointed for one reason or another; not enough lather, have to use too much, doesn't moisturize, irritating and drying, etc. I love this product. You don't need a lot, it lathers very nicely, leaves me well moisturized (no need to use another product), washes completely off, non-irritating, doesn't dry my skin, and smells ok. I highly recommend this to others. Drugstore.com sells the 24 oz size for $6.99

LOVE this body wash!!! I am accustomed to excellent quality, and often more expensive products, but Oil Of Olay is one of the few drug store lines that never lets me down.

I have never had a problem with dry skin at all, until now-I'm expecting. I had been experiencing a dry patch here and there, so I searched for a body wash that would alleviate this problem. This body wash does the job AND SOME!! I am now on my third bottle, and since I began using it a few months ago, I have not had any dry skin-and I am now six months along in my pregnancy. I love it!

I also use it for shaving, and have stopped buying shaving cream since discovering this product. My skin is so soft and smooth! For me, it washes off nicely, with no film-just moisture and smoothness-which is just what I want. I will be using this product from now on. It is a keeper.

Overall, I like this product. I need a little bit more moisture because I have pretty dry skin, specially on my knees. The smell is okay. It's a little pricey though.

It's a decent body wash. I've been a big fan of Olay products so I was kind of disappointed with this one. It lathers nice, and smells nice to boot. But it leaves this film on my skin. Which I suppose is the point, because that helps to lock moisture in. I don't like it though because it just feels like the product isn't rinsing clean. I added one more lippie though because my skin does feel more moisturized, even in the middle of winter. I don't think I'm going to repurchase though.. Maybe next winter if I can't find something better.
