It's terrible... the lotion doesn't absorb, but balls up and rolls off after I apply it to my legs. Doesn't do anything for shortening the time between shaves, and is quite expensive too. I won't be buying it again.

Overall, I have been pleased with this product. I started using it a couple months ago as summer was starting because I hated the coarse stubble I would get in between shavings. After a few weeks of use, I definitely noticed a difference in that my leg hair was much softer in between shavings. I haven't noticed a difference as far as having to shave less though. The scent of this lotion is also a huge improvement from Jergens Naturally Smooth...which I thought smelled chemically like Nair. I actually like the smell of this lotion, it is a light fruity/floral fragnance.
My only complaint is that the pump packaging sucks...near the end of the bottle, you cant pump it out anymore, and have to shake out the lotion...even though there was a lot left in the bottle that I would think a pump should be able to reach.

For the past couple of years, I have been fighting an endocrine disorder that makes me much more hirsute than I am naturally predisposed to be. My body hair has grown fast, thick and coarse, and I had gotten to the point that I was absolutely disgusted by it. A couple of months ago, I decided to purchase and epilator so that I might be able to cut down on the time per week I spend on hair removal. This was my first great move in the right direction. Aveeno's Positively Smooth Moisturizing Lotion was the second.
Granted, you are not going to see immediate results with this moisturizer. However, now that I have used it every day for the past 2 months, I have noticed a tremendous difference. My hair grows in significantly slower, softer and finer on my arms and legs. I'm sure this is in part due to epilation, but I can tell this intensifies and extends the benefits of the hair removal. The fragrance is a fantastic floral, and the moisturizing properties are great. A little bit is all you need, and it keeps skin soft all day. It does not burn on application, and that is important to follow up epilation with something soothing.
Today I shaved for the first time in a couple months, as I have been epilating religiously lately instead. I didn't have time to epilate last night, and I don't like to do it in the AM due to the red bumps that it leaves. The shaving process went beautifully! No razor burn, as the hair was very fine, and I only had to go over the areas I shaved once. Beautiful results!
I finally feel feminine and pretty, and my hair growth is finally under control. I will continue to use this product. I have my mom to thank for bringing it to my attention.

I use this in hopes of making my leg hairs finer so that there's less chance of any of them becoming ingrown. I've been using LaraChem's 20% salicylic acid peel weekly to combat existing ingrown hairs and prevent future ones. After about 2 mins or so of letting the peel dry, I use this with an equal amount of shea butter lotion (one pump from both lotions for the thighs, then repeat for my calves) to get that smooth glowing look. So far, this regimen has been working incredibly well =D. Also, Aveeno smells fresh and is non-greasy, so it beats Jergens Naturally Smooth hands-down.

I'm overall satisfied with buying this. It doesn't smell bad, isn't greasy, and doesn't sting right after shaving or waxing. I got this to help with inbetween waxings on my arms and legs, and after a little over 2 months, it seems to have made my arm hair a little finer between waxings, but I don't notice a whole lot of a difference in my legs, although they are a lot less dry than they were with previous lotions. I think it is a little expensive for a lotion, but it seems to have done the job pretty well, especially moisturizing.

this is the only lotion i have tried that 1) is easy to wash off my hands after (important to me) and 2) does not burn if i put it on immediately after shaving. i have a seriously itchy leg problem and this stuff helps a lot. it it still on my legs when i shower the next morning, but they do not feel slimy until they are get wet. i dont know if it does much for hair growth, but i could care less b/c it is not too expensive and doesnt hurt me!!!

Yes, it is expensive, but I have been very pleased with the results. I still shave often, but my legs feel much nicer in between. Plus, it doesn't irritate my legs when i use it right after shaving, like most lotions do. Will buy again.

This is one of my favorite everyday lotions!!! The scent is light and not at all offensive so you could definitely wear a perfume and it doesn't distract at all. The feel of the lotion is light enough that it sinks into your skin without any greasiness (which i hate!!), but moisturizes so well that I can use this in the winter with no problems (i have dry dry skin). The plus side is that when I use this on my legs, the hairs grow back so much more finer and I really do shave less often. The only teeny problem is that if you buy it in the dispenser form, when the pump no longer works, there's still lotion left inside but i think that's a problem with any dispenser type of bottle.

I love this lotion! I started using it about a month ago only on my legs. It really does make my legs smoother and the hair softer to the touch (not so stubbly in between shaving). Also, I love the smell.

I love the light smell of this moisturizer, and it's a great buy for the price, but I have yet to see a significant change in hair growth where I've applied it.

Before using this product I had to shave everyday because when I ran my hand up my leg it felt so prickly. It's been about a month of using this product and the hairs on my legs are much better. I don't shave everyday and when I run my hand up my leg it feels much less prickly. The hairs haven't made a dramatic change, they're still there and still not as thin as I'd like them to be, but it made enough of a change for me to continue using this product. It also has made it easier to shave, so I don't get as many razor bumps anymore. I would recommend this product to anyone who when they run their hand up their leg when they havent shaved it feels like a prickly catai plant, it will definetly help a bit.

I used to use Jergens Naturally Smooth. I had to stop using it because I started getting eczema. I went to aveeno products. When the positively smooth came out, I got it right away. It's not the cheapest everyday lotion around. But I think it's worth it to help you shave less. You won't notice a difference right away, and you should use it on a regular basis. I also remember Jergens Naturally Smooth smelled like a very light version of Nair, which I didn't like. But this one smells a lot better.

I bought this to use after the Aveeno shave gel. I love how it smells because not too many lotions will give a nice scent that doesn't completely fade away. I'm not sure about the minimizing claim yet. It came in a pump bottle which is very convenient. I've used alot of Aveeno products, but the first time I put it on my arm and it wouldn't stop itching. My skin is sensitive and I do have eczema. I had to wash it off. When I applied it on my legs after shaving it made my legs a bit itchy. If I put it on during the day, I get no reaction. It's weird, but I thought I should bring it up for anyone with sensitive skin. Just proceed with caution.

I would not use this product unless I liked it as a moisturizer because you do need to use it for a sustained period of time to see a difference. I use it on my legs only; I need something with SPF for my upper body. I had a combination of coarse black hairs and fine blond hairs on my legs. The blond hairs are gone, and the black hair grows in softer and finer. It also seems sparser. Shaving is very fast, and if I skip a day the hairs do not make me itch the way they used to...I've had to get out of bed and shave if I had tried to skip that day because the friction on the sheets from just lying there caused so much prickly itching! If you already have sparse/fine hair, you may get to the point that you don't have to shave at all. It does the job for me as a moisturizer, and it sinks in fast, which is important because I never seem to remember moisturizer until I'm ready to get dressed.

I've been using this lotion for the past month (I put it on every night) and I haven't seen any results yet in the hair on my legs or arms. Perhaps I didn't put enough lotion on or I should've applied multiple times a day, but the bottle said after 4 weeks I should see results. The main reason I bought this lotion was to slow down the hair growth, but that didn't happen. Also, the smell is a bit strong and kind of weird in my opinion. I don't think I will be purchasing this again.

This is a so-so product. It's a pretty good moisturizer but it didn't do anything to the hair. I don't like the smell of this line at all, and it is a little costly.

I like the smell and it feels great. I don't think I havebeen using it long enough to notice any change in my hair growth.
The bottle claims that it "visible improves skin tone and texture". How does it improve your skin tone? Has anybody seen a difference in that area?

I thought for the price of this stuff that it would be excellent, but I really regret buying it. After shaving, I applied a layer of this stuff. I liked the smell better than the Positively Smooth Shave Gel, this is more floral/fruity and soft. I didn't find it too powerful. But, under half an hour later, it made my legs feel flaky and prickly, almost like stubble. Plus, it feels tacky and just doesn't absorb. I went to sleep feeling sticky, and woke up feeling sticky! This stuff has to go.

I finished using a bottle of this a while ago, but decided to review it anyways. Im not sure if it claims to make hair grow slower, but what it does do is make the regrowth finer and lighter and generally less noticeable. I used it on my whole body and i felt soft, and my skin looked good. After a few weeks, my arm hair and body (im fair skinned with medium brown hair) hair appeared much lighter and less noticeaable. I didnt care for the scent, but I think the product is worth it nonetheless.

This lotion works wonderfully. It sinks in nicely, leaves smooth skin, and most importantly, works as promised! After using this daily for about a week, stubble grows back much more slowly and softly. The only reason it gets 4 instead of 5 is that I'm just not a huge fan of the fragrance. The positively Smooth line has an almond scent and I *hate* almond scents. Though this is fairly reasonable for almond, so it doesn't stop me from using this line of products.
