Beats out Softlips....my previous SPF lip treatment fave. This one has the highest SPF (30) that I have come across without being heavy or turning my lips white/chalky. It actually feels even lighter than Chap Stick. Gives off the most delicious fruity/coconut scent and doesn't change the colors of my lipstick. Easily layerable under other lip color products. Love it!

The label made this stuff sound like a rich, smoothing spa treatment, but the actual product is waxy, hard, and has to be applied for about five minutes straight in order to build up a decent coat on the lips. Once on, it has a thin, oily consistency that sits on the surface, neither moisturizing nor soothing. It has a strong bitter, chemical aftertaste. The only thing I would use this for is to add a layer of SPF under lipstick.

I give this two lipsticks because it has an SPF of 30 and it comes in a pretty pearly gold tube. The lipbalm itself is terrible. It is hard and waxy. It doesn't moisturize my lips at all. It actually stings my lips right after I apply and I don't have sensitive lips. I think it has a pleasant fruity scent but the taste is awful. I'm throwing this one out. This Blistex lipbalm is pricey at just under $4 Canadian.

My friend Sueann and I love this stuff!! So do our b/f's. It doesn't stick to there lips like lipsticks do. We'll repurchase again and again.

This stuff is pretty damn good! I don't know about the narrow oval shape. I prefer round. The smell is like pineapples. Yummy! It moisturizes without being greasy. I will repurchase, but I will still search for that HG lip balm.

I really like this. My lips don't really dry that easily and so this is perfect for me. I like the oval shape. It feel very silky on my lips and SPF 30 is a big plus. I got this on sale for $1.89--very affordable.

At $3, it's a little pricey for chapstick-type lip balm, but I really like it. It's very smooth and has a high SPF rating. Smells like passionfruit and doesn't have much of a taste (unlike Chapstick's high SPF in the yellow tube which tastes awful). Feels very moisturizing!

Love this stuff. I tan and this is the best product that I've found for protecting me yummy smackers! The scent was pleasant, almost tropical and the moisturizing effect was lovely. My main reason for buying this was because of the sunscreen protection and even though I have tried so, so many - this is my HG and I'm glad it's super cheap at that.

This is a decent lip balm with photostable ingredients, but I found out that I needed something heavier so I'm now using Shiseido's. You can't beat the price, and the texture is really nice. If I can't get myself to buy the more expensive item, I know I'll definitely come back to this one.

What a disappointment! The ads made this sound like a high-quality lip balm. It's almost as bad as classic chap-stick.
It's waxy and thick, has a bitter taste that fills your mouth and lasts for hours, and adds almost no moisture. The oval tube is also awkward, and I have full lips!
I'll stick with my Silk n Shine.

Just as other here have said, I was expecting this product to be pretty nice, judging by the ads and the packaging. I was so wrong, that you couldn't possibly have an idea. This is the worst lip balm I have ever tried. It's ineffective, it *does* taste disgusting..(it has a extremely bitter and waxy taste), and it felt heavy on my lips. It won't sink in and it doesn't moisturize. Just my opinion, but I wouldn't be suprised if they eventually just took it off the shelves. I actually think they should...a waste of the money, even at just a few dollars. I would NOT reccomend this to anyone and I will never buy it again.

Let me just say that as a full-lipped gal, I love the oval shape. Usually with the small, circular-tubed chapsticks, I have to swipe the darn thing 2 or 3 times per lip before it covers the entire area. Also, the SPF 30 protection (avobenzene) is also heavily appreciated, speaking from someone who lives in southern CA. That said, this product still kind of sucks. It's not very moisturizing at all. In fact, the formula feels kind of thin and slightly exacerbates my dry lips. Also, it tastes horrible. Yes, I realize that lip balm is not meant for consumption, but it's also a fact that you get a little taste of it no matter how hard you try, and this product is just horrendous. Even at about $3 a pop at the drugstore I feel robbed.

It's not moisturizing enough and I have to reapply in half an hour. The smell and look is not bad though.

This is ok, nothing special. It is light, which is nice, and does have an SPF of 30 and doesn't leave a white hue on your lips, but it has a nasty chemical after taste. Still in search of my HG.

I really like this. I use it for the sunscreen and stick to heavier balms for intense moisturizing. This leaves no white cast on the lips which is a big plus. The oval shape does take some getting used to. With so few lip balms available with broad spectrum sunscreen it is nice to have a reasonably priced option.

This lip balm is not at the status of my HG, but is almost there. Right now don't know how moisturizing it is, but as previous reviewers said, this does have broad-spectrum sun protection, which is very rare in lip balms. The smell is okay, but I'm not crazy for it.
EDIT: Not moisturizing enough at all.

I really expected more from this.I was sadly disapointed. When I first applied it it felt sticky and waxy. That feeling lasted till I wiped off some of it.However it didnt get rid of the taste. Not only that but it made my previously smooth lips sting and burn for some time after I used it.Ill stick to Silk & Shine because this Pro stuff stinks.

with an spf 30, this lip balm is astonishingly light and feels comfortable on my lips. Although it's a bit drying, I like it and use it daily. It also has a plumping effect, my lips look fuller, just naturally, which is probably due to the spf. No clogged pores on my lipline and cheap, easy to get - highly recommended!

This stuff tastes nasty...I bought it at my local Wal-Mart one day when my lips were feeling especially dry...the cool looking packaging and the word PRO(the broad spectrum suncreen is nice too)reeled me in, but the minute I applied it and took a drink of my soda, I got this nasty taste in my mouth, I finally decided it was the lip balm...I threw it away, which is something I rarely do...but this was pretty gross tasting.
