I use this product over my liquid foundation. The product itself is too dry to use by itself. It performs well at keeping the shine down throughout the day and is my product of choice when I have been having a bad skin breakout and translucent powder over my liquid foundation just won't cut it. I have the second lightest shade and I find the color slightly too orange for me.

i purchased this since sephora (in two nyc locations!) were out of stilla's illuminating powder foundation in 40 watt and i wasn't about to make any more stops. it covers so-so. i just want's happy with the way it settled into my face and left an orange like tint.

This is my HG powder foundation. I was a long-time Studiofix user but it always felt too heavy and was so obvious. I've also tried: Chanel, Stila, Anna Sui, Urban Decay, Clinique and many, many more in my quest. This is by far the best, pricey but so worth it, one compact lasts me aprox 3-4 months. I'm a freckly PPP and it is impossible to find a powder that doesnt make me orange. I also have some rosiness on my nose and chin and this is excellent at evening it out. The first day I wore this, my co-worker said "Wow your skin looks great today", thats when I knew this was a keeper. Update 6/06 Still my HG, I can always count on this to make my skin look good, there really is not a powder foundation that comes close.

This is the worst power I have ever purchased! Read on! This is their wet/dry powder which when applied dry should provide heavier coverage. IT DOESNT! Not only that but the light coverage it does provide isnt that great. It doesnt blend well, very VERY chalky, very matte, not natural looking at all. This is your grandmother's compact! I am surprised because I have other Lorac products and are quite pleased, I think they need to go back to the drawing board on this one. No good. Packaging ok, but sometimes hard to open the bottom part to get tot the sponge. And I cant say I have ever notice this before, but the mirror inside the compact is VERY cheap! Belongs in a wet n wild package. Save your money - count to 10 - and walk away!

Very expensive for the product quality. I bought this at Sephora and specifically told the gal that I needed something with great coverage (I'm pregnant and am breaking out). This had practically no coverage what so ever! Much rather stick with Mac or Clinique.

This is great- I set my foundation with this, and also carry this with me during the day for touchups, as it provides a nice smooth medium coverage, and hides pores miraculously! I switched to a flat puff, and it makes a flawless face!

I'm really up in the air with this one. I've been looking for a substitute for MAC Studio Fix which broke me out badly. This is much finer milled than SF making it look more natural but because of this, it is hard to achieve full coverage. I've put many layers of this on and although it doesn't get cakey, it also doesn't come near full coverage. The few shades they have look pretty realistic and this wears well during the day. I've had absolutely not one breakout from this which is great. I guess it's just really *okay*. If it was $25 instead of $35, I'd be a lot happier with it. ***UPDATE*** after about one month of use I started seeing the pan on this. Kinda aggrivating since it's so expensive. My search for a SFix substitute continues...I think I'll try Body&Soul next. ***UPDATE*** found a much cheaper and better product...Milani Even Tone powder foundation and it gets great reviews! Only 6 bucks too!!!

Medium coverage with a matte finish, this quickly becomes cakey. The yellow undertones left my skin looking sallow.

I've been using this powder for about 3 years now, and I have to say, I think it's great. It matches my skin tone perfectly and looks great after I apply it. I've tried lots of powders, but just love the matte finish I get on my face. I just wish it would stay on longer!

I'm a male who began wearing powder to downplay oilies and even out skin tone. This powder/foundation is awesome. Light-med coverage with yellow/orange undertones. Very light, feels like I'm wearing nothing. And does a good job of keeping the oilies away longer than other powders I've tried. The WD3 color matched my skin perfectly. good product..worth the money.

Natural, soft, and light. Feels like wearing nothing. This is good for sensitive skin and the yellow/orange tone downplays the redness I have developed from rosacea. Very nice! Best applied with a brush.
