I just finished my 2nd bottle of this cleanser, it's one of those awesome organic products that I haven't found anything better yet, and I've tried a few. I find myself constantly going back to it because it's gentle, yet cleanses my skin enough to keep it clean and very clear. It does have to capability of lathering very well like a normal drugstore cleanser, but I've only been successful with that while using my olay pro-x brush.
I don't wear face makeup, just concealer under the eyes (but it's usually faded away by end of day lol), so I'm not sure how I can speak upon it's makeup removing properties, but it does break down mascara nicely too.
Really like this stuff, about to shop around for a better price online for my next bottle!!

This cleanser is fantastically simple, non-stripping, and (mostly) organic! I *HAD* combo-oily skin with an awful skin picking habit and hormonal pimples as well as cheek pimples, but with this cleanser my skin cleared right up! I use once daily at night with my Clarisonic Mia sensitive brush heads followed by Cerave moisturizer. I love the light citrus scent of this product and that I DON'T feel any film leftover on my face and that it doesn't strip all the oil away and make my skin dry. I often stray away of this product (about $9 with tax at Target) but I have no idea why. It's my go-to, winter or summer!

Great Vitamin C gel facial wash. Good value, smells great, lathers really well but leaves a slight residue if you use too much. Just half a pump takes care of my face, neck and the tops of my arms (all prone to hyperpigmentation). Leaves my skin feeling good, never dry or taut. I can see my teenage daughter nicking this one if I'm not careful as it smells so yummy. I get through my beloved Elemis Melting Cleansing Gel far too quickly, this kind of reminds me of it but it is much better value, so although I am a cleanser/make-up remover tart (I repurchase six on a regular basis), I will try to be brave and stick with this for everyday cleansing. Once my others are almost finished ... NB: could not use this when my very occasional rosacea flared up - it was too strong. I still love it though and will go back to it when my skin is back to my version of 'normal'.

This cleanser (gel) is very good. It's mild and lathering but doesn't strip your natural oil, the citrus scent is a plus. I got it along with the toner at Target for 8.97 dollars each and within the first week of usage I can tell my dehydrated skin got so much better, it's moisturizing but doesn't make my skin overly oily. I would buy this product again.

My combo acne prone sensitive skin is loving this cleanser this summer!! Use it at night after removing makeup and sometimes in mornings. Very happy I tried this and that it's fairly natural .

Such a great wash! I first remove my eye makeup with olive oil followed by a warm washcloth then I wash with this. It creates such a soft lather.
The scent is very refreshing and I presume natural after looking over the ingredients.
I'm no chemist but these ingredients look much better than leading brand cleansers (which I can't even pronounce never mind know).
Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice(1), Aqua (Water), Decyl Glucoside, Sorbitol, Coco-Glucoside, Xanthan Gum, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Peel Oil, Arnica Montana Flower Extract(1), Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract(1), Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract(1), Citrus Limon (Lemon) Peel Extract*, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Flower/Leaf/Stem Extract(1), Olea Europaea (Olive) Leaf Extract(1), Ascorbyl Glucoside, Bisabolol, Citric Acid, Glycerin, Glyceryl Oleate, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Tocopheryl Acetate, Alcohol(1), Benzyl Alcohol, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Limonene

I was hesitant to try this product at first, because my crazy oily, acne-prone, and acne-scarred skin breaks out SO easily. I've also had a few bad experiences with natural cleansers in the past. Anyways, I'm so glad I gave this cleanser a chance. I'm probably on my fifth bottle of this stuff. Seems to help control my oil buildup, removes all my makeup (if I'm wearing a heavy foundation I use olive oil to help remove makeup, too), and it is extremely refreshing and brightening! Best cleanser I've found yet, highly recommended!

(This review is for the Refreshing Cleansing Gel. Just making this clear as there's also a cleansing milk under this line.)
For my very oily skin and the climate I live in -- year round average temperatures of 85° F and humidity above 70% and usually very sunny days -- this is outstanding as an AM cleanser, to refresh my skin and prep it to face the environment without being too drying or making me anymore oily than normal. I love the scent, it smells like fresh cut oranges, really makes you wake up in the morning! There are no synthetic fragrances or colors, or parabens or phthalates or sulfates, which is so important for me, especially the no sulfate part as I also have occassional acne and have noticed that sulfates in products irritate my skin. Despite there being no sulfates, this cleanser does produce a little bit of lather, enough to give you that feeling of cleansing the skin (not like oil cleansing). The product is dispensed through a pump which is very nice, so the packaging is purely practical. I purchased this at a Walmart, it can be found online and the price is very reasonable.
I only use this in the morning because I am not sure it would do a good job at removing make-up at the end of the day, I prefer for my night cleansers to both remove make-up and cleanse the skin all at once. From other reviews it seems that this product is definitely not for someone with dry skin, those with combo should be careful, but it would be perfect for someone with oily skin who wants something that will help control oil with the added benefits of the antioxidants and no sulfates to further irritate the skin/produce more oil.

I just tried a sample of this, but my skin loved it! After just one day of usage, my skin looked brighter. And it felt like silk going on! I may have to break down and buy a full-size.

I've tried this facial cleanser twice. Both products resulted in some kind of chemical burn/allergic reaction after about a week to two weeks. I really liked it in the first week; my existing breakouts went down, and although it was too drying for my skin, my complexion was bright. My usage of the product coincided with the introduction of another facial product, so I attributed the chemical burn to a full on revolution by my skin, but my second go-around with this product made me realize it's just too harsh for my skin (which is combination -- a healthy amount of oil but prone to dryness).
The chemical burn was exactly like what everyone else is describing; dry, scaly whitehead-like bumps with lots of itching and redness.
I have a friend who uses this nightly and really likes it, but her skin veers toward the oily side of the spectrum. I can see why this would be a good cleanser for some people, but it's definitely not for everyone. I've tried multiple products by this brand and have been disappointed by all of them.
