Many salt scrubs I have tried have been too oily, but as Goldilocks said, this one is "just right!". Fragrance is lovely but not overpowering, making this scrub a real treat to use. I use it before shaving my legs and have never had such close shaves. My skin feels so soft and hydrated after using this.

Amazing Grace is my favorite scent of all time. That being said, the scrub does not smell like the AG scent at ALL! Very dissappointed and will not repurchase.

This is a staple in my everyday beauty regimine. Its just one of those scents that people comment on all day long. They will say " Wow who is that that smells so great.. what is that.. who is that? Whats that wonderfull smell... Its the AMAZING GRACE SCENT.... WITH THE LOTION, SCRUB, SHOWER GEL AND PERFUME.. ALL of those scents just layered up on the skin are amazing. It smells soooooo lovely! I would never have bought this stuff for me. My sister purchase the whole set for me for my birthday and I have loved it ever since and even though everything to me is pricey I would still pay for it because its all worth every penny spent...

DISGUSTING scent - nothing, nothing, nothing like the real AG scent found in other products! The consistency of the scrub is nice and it is effective but the stench...well, it takes away from the experience.

I will definitely not re-purchase. The dupes from Suds and Light and April Cline are way, way better - true AG scent in great scrubs for less money.

Is it just me, or does this smell like cat urine? Definitely does *not* smell like the other amazing grace products I have, just urine that's been sitting out at room temperature for 2 weeks. Plus, the salt particles are much too rough for my delicate, sensitive skin.

My AG scrub smelled like litter box...I'm hoping I got a bad jar of it. I adore AG but was quite nauseated upon first use of this. I noticed nothing of the Amazing Grace scent that I love so much within this scrub...

I am biased to begin with because I do not like salt scrubs as they usually burn me. This does not, but I do not like how huge the granuals are. It is extremely thick because I think it is supposed to be used on dry skin first, but I always forgot and then wanted to use it in the bathtub. It does not spread well on wet skin, and the scent does not linger at all once you rinse. It is non-oily which is a plus, but at the same time, there are no other discernable moisturizing qualities. I simply prefer sugar scrubs, and I wish Philosophy would start making some for those of us who do not like the salt.

Blech! Yuck! Gross! This is Philosophy at its worst. It gave it two lippies instead of one because it DOES do a great job of exfoliating; your body will feel very soft after using this. However (and this is a BIG "however"), the smell is just plain nauseating. I'm a huge fan of the Amazing Grace scent, and to me, this does NOT smell like Amazing Grace. It's stronger, sweeter, and "cheaper." I plan to use it up, simply because I love how soft it makes me feel, but believe me, I'll be holding my nose as I scrub!

Yuck! I love the Amazing Grace body lotion, but can't stand the smell of this salt scrub! To me, they smell nothing alike. It was a great exfoliator, but a bit too greasy for me..

I love this product. You get a lot of bang for your buck. My legs get very scaly and this product has worked wonders on my legs. I also use this on my feet. I will use the scrub on my feet, and then put St Ives foot lotion all over my feet, and then I put on a thick pair of socks. You will be totally surprised at how soft your heels and feet will be.

I really enjoyed this scrub. I do agree that the smell is a little bit "off" at first, but after your bath/shower it leaves a long lasting great scent.

This doesn't smell like AG at all....ICK. I got a small size in a kit, and I will use it up because I like the exfoliating on my legs, but I won't repurchase. The lippies are for the product itself, not the scent.

I had tried Pure Grace salt scrub prior to buying thisand I liked the product. I primarily use Amazing Grace in every form. I purchased the salt scrub in Amazing Grace and was pretty surprised that as others have commented the scent was way off.
It does smell wierd to me. The closest scent I can think of is Desitin creme which has an oily, plastic smell.
I realize that Amazing Grace is slightly different from product to product but this just does not smell anything like the fragrance and its kind of repelling.

In terms of scrubbing, this product is amazing. It's the only one I've used that has actually make my skin soft and glowing. I love the scent of amazing grace, but for some reason, it smells slightly off in the scrub(A little more powdery and fake) but I would buy this scrub again in a different scent .

I'm on my second jar. This is the most amazing scent. It's a bit rough, but that's part of the reason I like it. It's a nice inexpensive scrub and I'm sticking to this one!

I have used every kind of scrub there is! Always go back to this one. Use it on dry skin only! Took me 2 tubs before I read the instructions, what a waste. The great thing about this scrub is that the softness STAYS throughout the day. Some scrubs leave a softness for an hour or two, then gone. This one smells wonderful, and really works!!!!

I like this lots better than the Senorita Margarita scrub. No hints of vomit-smell in this exfoliator! This scrub is much more malleable when you add a bit of water--while the original texture is like clay, adding a bit of water makes it into an actual paste, making the exfoliating action even more thorough on dry skin. It didn't leave my hands tomato-red from the "warming action" like the Senorita Margarita salt scrub did, either. The smell is very clean and powdery--I don't know if I'd go for the scent in a perfume, but for a scrub to use in the shower, it's lovely. Very soapy-clean, like a grown-up baby powder scent. Though it's irrelevant, I love the pale pink color, too. I took off one lipstick because of the slight irritation it left on my arms, but this quickly went away, and I couldn't feel it at all. Nevertheless, even if you have "tough" skin you shouldn't really use this type of scrub more than once a month; your skin could respond to it as if it's trying to heal itself and undo the effects of the scrub. All in all, I'd definitely repurchase.

I purchased this because I love amazing grace fragranced products along with the 3in 1 (only use as shower gel)At first I didn't read the directions and used it while in the shower and was all wet. At that point I did not like it as it didn't do much and flaked off. But after reading the directions, and used it dry before my shower, the results was amazing. I love deep scrubs and not the wimpy TBS ones (which i am trying to use up) and this scrub fits the bill. A tad messy to apply but if you do it in the shower (with water off) and then wash off-your skin is like silk. I don't have sensitive skin on my body so I didn't see any residual redness or irritation. NOr did it burn. The heating factor is kind of iffy-I didn't feel any heating but who cares-the result is soft, smooth glistening skin. Will repurchase.
