This is my favourite blush. I ALWAYS get compliments on my appearance when I wear this! I like to wear this and See Sheer on my lips for a pretty coral look, looks great with my tanned skin.

The colour is amazing, a burnt orange with golden flecks. I have been eyeing up Taj Mahal for a very long time but on my student budget I haven't been able to bring myself to buy it. I've bought other blushes I thought might be similar like NYX Cinnamon (almost pastel pale orange?) and Sleek Aruba (pure neon orange) but now that I can compare them to Taj Mahal in the flesh, they are rubbish in comparison. There is nothing like Taj Mahal. It's a scorched orange colour complete with very subtle golden flecks and a slight red tinge. It is so pigmented and blends effortlessly. I definitely recommend it to people with tanned skin and darker.

I almost feel like removing a lippie for the level of pigment in this blush. Pigmented makeup is a great thing but seriously? This is the most pigmented blush I own, definitely more pigmented than my other NARS blushes. I tap my stipple brush SO lightly on the pan, so lightly that I barely even touch it on the powder. Then I shake the brush to get rid of the excess (believe me, there will be too much on your brush just from the slightest tap), I then dab it on the back of my hand to get rid of more colour (can't be too careful), then *lightly* dab the stipple brush on my cheeks. I don't blend with the stipple, for fear of over application. I get a fluffy blush brush (RT brush), dip in translucent powder and blend what is on my cheeks from the stipple brush. It blends like a dream.
I have NC37-40 skin! I can't imagine a lighter skinned person being able to wear this sadly, only because it is very pigmented! To any PPPs, be extremely careful!

The packaging is good but as with all NARS blushes, the rubberised coating is annoying. The compact has the potential to get filthy and I have got a few thumb prints on mine which are impossible to remove. I'm not too bothered though and it doesn't affect whether I'd buy it again or not. Expensive yes, but totally worth it. The glow I get from this is unlike any other! Now that its summer ill be wearing this everyday! I like to mix it with Torrid :) I totally recommend this. I would buy it again and again but I know I won't even be able to use one up before the day I die.

5's across the board from me...everything's already been said but I just wanted to add to the chorus. I'm med-tan Indian bronze skin (about NC40 but not so yellow), and this suits me like a dream. Not too glittery or frosty, can be quite subtle on bronze/darker tones...but will likely stand out a lot more on fairer, pinker ladies. I took a page from the textbook of the wonderful Lisa Eldridge, and matched with a similar orange-toned lipstick (the matte orange brick Autumn by Elizabeth Arden) and it makes me look finished and sophisticated. Blends very well and though I would repurchase, I doubt I have to because of the colour payoff and staying power. I also am not a stickler for packaging (all I want is functionality), but I have to say the powder-matte case with the tapered edges feels so beautiful in my palm that I have to give it special mention!

Beautiful color. Looks like I just came back from an exotic Caribbean Island. Shades of Golden Orange and shimmer. Beautiful color for most skin tones. WOC must buy this!

I reach for this shade a lot when I'm going out or looking for a pop of colour! I think that if you apply this colour with the right tools and a light hand, its really not that much of a scary colour! I find it looks great with any warm toned makeup and I even use it dabbed on top of another lipstick to really give it a pretty warm glow! Orange blush is a staple in my kit and I love using it to create any 'autumn' inspired look!

OK, so I like it, I don't love it. The orange color is interesting to me. It's not amazing or bad, just different, which is ok since I like to switch things up. I don't like that it's shimmery, even if the shimmers are small. I feel like the shimmers still highlight the flaws on my cheeks, which is no bueno; however, I've noticed that the smoother the canvas, the better this blush works. So basically, I need to make sure my foundation is on point before attempting to use this blush. Overall, I love having an orange blush in my collection, but it's not my favorite blush in the whole entire world! :)

I love love love this blush. Its so gorgeous. I am a blush addict, and this is one of my favorites. I got into orange-toned blushes over the past year, and this is one of my favorites.

This does have shimmer, which I usually don't go for, but its more of a finer shimmer rather than the large glitter that some blushes have. It makes you look glowy.

For reference, my skin tone is medium with yellow undertones to my skin, and dark brown eyes/hair.

I said I would buy it again, but tbh, I don't think I'll ever really need to! It's SO EXTREMELY pigmented you will never run out! It's the most gorgeous, most unique, exotic, natural (if you use the right amount and blend) blush on tanned skin! UGH SO BEAUTIFUL. My first NARS blush but I will definitely be trying out the other colors. The quality is just oustanding, NARS are famous for their blush for a reason, and believe the hype because it's the absolute best quality I've ever tried. The packaging makes me want to cry, because it's so beautiful! haha I really love this, and A MUST TRY for summer and for tanned skin!!!!! I wear this even during Winter, though not suitable, it's too gorgeous to pass up.

(NC 47-50/ revlon color stay Caramel fyi) I see wearing it more in the summer months since it does instantly warm up my skin. In the winter im going to stick with Nars taos.;)
I am quickly becoming a NARS junkie.

Perfect for my Italian olive skin, you can't believe how flattering it is until you try it. It counterbalances the sallow and yellow untertones typical of olive skins adding warmth and tone. The quality is exceptional. Intensely pigmented it's well worth the money. I rate it above many other HE blushes I tryed before and I am definitetely sticking to Nars from now on.

Just Wow!! I dont have enough words to describe this blush. Great great color for my NC 42 skin. I have to use a light hand though as its super pigmented but blend able . It adds warmth and an amazing gold sheen to the cheeks. The shimmer is very fine and you will hardly find a dupe for this blush. I hope NARS never discontinues this blush. I got this blush from beauty.com at an amazing price. Great for women of color..AWESOME! You wont ever regret it.

Amazing blush! My favorite blush, ever. NARS is pricey but this little blush will last you forever. One little swipe gives a ton of color. It’s so dramatic that I dust it lightly with a fan brush because it picks up way too much color with every blush brush I’ve tried.

And the blush matches with everything. Please don’t be alarmed by the boldness of the color. If you apply gently with a fan brush, it can give a natural radiant coral flush. And for a more dramatic look, apply with a blush brush and let the true orangey coral shine. As for my favorite way, combine it with some bronzer and it looks like you’ve just come back from some warm, tropical place. I even use it as eyeshadow because it’s so intense.

This color works for most skintones, but particularly if you’re golden tan or darker. It really brings out the tan in your skin. No wonder it’s called Taj Mahal. It’s perfect for South Asian beauties.

NARS blushes have the power of making you feel sexy. Pair this blush with a dark smoky eye and a natural nude lip, and you’re good to go!

My new fave Nars blush! (I also have Exhibit A, Torrid, Sin and Angelika.) So pretty, natural, glowy and brightening. Wasn't sure it would work with my medium Asian golden skintone but it's extremely flattering. Taj Mahal looks so natural that I don't feel the need to add more color to my face, though it also works nicely with a nude/brown palette. It's simply gorgeous!

I LOVE IT!! If you have tanned to dark skin, don't think twice just go and get it.

The color is soo warm, intense and gives my skin the J-Lo glow ;-). I am a MAC NC45 and this color looks soooo pretty on me. VERY little goes ALLLL the way, it is extremely pigmented so I am sure this one will last for few years at least!!

Would never, ever have thought to buy or wear bright orange blush if it weren't for the glowing MUA reviews. So glad I bought into the hype! For reference, I am NC40-42 and this is a really lovely blush on warm skintones. This blush gives an amazing healthy summery glow when applied diffusely with a skunk brush. You only need a teeny bit for each application since it is super-pigmented, so even though the price is steep, you're getting enough in the pan to last three lifetimes - the price is decent from that perspective.

Taj Mahal was my second Nars blush (first was torrid). It is simply gorgeous on my NC44 skin. To me, this orange blush is a must have (HG for sure). I said I would purchase again but I doubt I'd need to anytime soon. A little goes a long way. I love using the Nars Yachiyo brush to apply my Nars blushes. It makes application for a novice like me a piece of cake. No worries about looking clownish using that brush. You look like you have a golden glow and I also use the brush tip to apply some of the blush below my brows just to give some balance. This blush cost be around 180TTD but is definitely worth the price.

I held out from purchasing this blush for six months because I told myself I could live without it but I couldn't.. The bright orange color was all I could think about whenever I looked at my group of blushes so I caved in and told myself if I didn't absolutely love it I would take it back.. I absolutely LOVE it! Taj mahal is the perfect compliment to my golden-olive skin and just makes me glow. I use it constantly or whenever I feel blahh it instantly awakens and brightens up my face. But again like exhibit A you need a light hand to avoid the clown cheeks effect.

Ok....I'm going to go against the grain and say that this blush is just ok. I know that some women think it's HG, but on me it's just meh.

The price is pretty expensive, but that can be expected from NARS. I think the packaging could be a little better, because mine cracked fairly easily, and I generally don't have this problem with my blushes from other companies.

The color, which is a shimmery orange, looks ok on me. It's a little too shimmery, for my liking. The color really isn't unique enough for me to fall in love with it.

I adore this blush, im an NC 30-35, it gives me a bronzed look without darkening my skin.. you need to pat it in lightly otherwise you look too orange and apply it with a suitable brush, my favourite brush to go with this is the mac 116.
the only con is the packaging, nars blushes arent forgiving if you drop them, they easily break..
