I bought this without trying it on (duh) because it was sooooo beautiful in the tube (and my experience was that these Glossimers have strong pigmentation). Turns out that even though it was such a pretty colour in the tube, it looked almost clear on my lips and the pink was undetectable. Good quality though, as with all Glossimers -- long lasting, smooth, kissable and non-sticky; I just wish there were more colour to make it even a sheer pink on me.

The colour is quite pretty, but not as exciting as I expected. On my pink-pigmented lips, it looks like a very sheer cool pink with silver shimmer, and almost seems clear. I probably would have still loved it, but for the fact that 30 seconds after application, my lips started turning numb, and remained in such a state for twenty minutes. I'm really surprised and disappointed, because it's the first time I've had a reaction with any of Chanel Glossimers. There's something about Starlette and Pin Up that doesn't sit right with me!

texture wise, this is like a thinner juicy tubes. very sparkly. a see-through medium blue-pink. has more pigmentation than a juicy tubes but not as much as the other glossimers i have (twinkle, force, electric).
wet looking, sparkly, pretty pink!

This is my first review ever! I'm in Vancouver, Canada and just called around looking to buy one more Starlette..found out it's completely sold out except for ONE store!! I was so glad because this is by far THE BEST glossimer so far..too bad they have these limited editions..make people like me buy two!

This is such a pretty gloss, it goes on very sheer a gives a hint of pink colour but allows you own lips to shine through. It has really tiny sparkles thoughout the gloss. It reminds me of a pinkier version of bloom lipgloss in sugar. I love the texture of Chanel GLossimers there not too sticky but have great lasting power.

OMG, it's so preeetty!! Ditto to what misst said. It's a sheer pink, not frost nor opaque, rather like a pink tint with lots of shimmer/micro glitters (not chunky at all). You don't have to worry about if it'll wash you out. I'm LLL and I'm the one who get washed out easily. E.g. Pin Up kind of wash me out, hmmp. It's like a glassy pout, great when use alone or top on your other lippies. This is Europe/Asia Summer 03 limited edition, so get it quick :D

Oh my .. this is absolutely drop dead gorgeous. I'm so pleasantly surprised by this! I was going to pass because it looked like it would be too frosty of a light bubblegum pink, but the SA suggested I try it because Pin Up washed me out. It is sooooooooo nice! it's got sparkle, but not chunky glitter. It's extremely sheer, with a very pretty pink tint so it's not overbearing and doesn't look like Barbie. It looks great as a gloss to wear overtop other colours or liners. I wear it overtop Mac lip liner in Cedar. This would look awesome with tanned skin and it would still work with PPP's too I think. I love it!! I would definitely rebuy.

This is a really pretty sheer pink sparkly glossimer limited edition for Summer. I think you could wear it over any lipstick. Its so pretty.
