This is a review for color 19 Pretty Plush, a beautiful rose-plum with slight shimmer. This color is not sheer, it's much more opaque than other crystal glosses (medium color with full coverage). Formula is long-lasting, creamy, slightly tacky, with a fantastic vanilla cake-batter scent/taste, still very glossy. Color is much prettier on vs. in the tube. Would repurchase again.

I *think* I bought Whisper, but the color name is not on the tube, which is a minus for me. The color looks the same as Estee Lauder's Star Pink gloss: in the tube, it's a super pale pink loaded with sparklies. On the lips, it's basically a clear gloss with loads of shimmer. It's extremely pretty, especially for someone like me who prefers a total MLBB look. The two drawbacks are the smell and the feel of this particular gloss, which is rather gritty. It might be this color only due to all the sparkles. The great thing is that it's dirt-cheap so I'm sure I'll try another color, perhaps one without so much grittiness.

This is a great gloss. I have it in Whisper. It is really beautiful on and has failry good staying power. Whisper goes on my very fair lips as a milky clear gloss that somehow make my lips appear fuller. It is like a great clear gloss but so much better. Unfortunately, the smell is making me nauseous. If I could tolerate the smell it would be the gloss I would grab on those days when I am not looking to do the full makeup thing. It feels great on your lips, not drying at all, and it does not leave any weird white ring or make your lips dry and peely like some other glosses do. I really wish they would remove the smell. :(

EDIT: I no longer wear this gloss due to the smell. It is really gag inducing. Seriously.

I am a lip gloss maniac. I have tried tons of drug store brands, but not so many department store brands. Anyhow, when I tried Milani's Crystal gloss I was extremely pleased with it considering it's price. I was expecting it to be really crappy but it has turned out to be my ultimate favorite lipgloss in my whole collection! It isn't too sticky yet has great staying power. It isn't greasy and the colors are beautiful. My favorite is Frozen Fantasy. They smell great too!

very nice, i got this in red and looked like glass with nice color to it, not as vibrant as i had hoped but very nice. sponge applicator tip, long lasting the only thing i didn't like is it feathered a bit as reds and glosses tend to do.

Ok, I bought one, then tossed it because of the smell, then re-bought it cuz I missed it. BUT the second tube didn't have that disgusting burnt plastic smell! It sucks because you don't really know if it's a bum tube before you open it and try it, but you can probably up your chances of getting a good one by going to a store with good turn around and avoiding the tubes that are on sale or have already separated. It's a gamble, but at least it isn't an expensive one. And when you win, it really pays off. These have great texture, feel, compact tube, and colors. And really, who doesn't like to go to Vegas once in a while?

I have a few of these. I keep losing them in my work truck, but they're cheap and easy to replace. The texture feels thick when you put it on, but it is absolutely not sticky. I drive about 100 miles a day with my window open and I never get my long hair stuck in the gloss. My favorite shade is a deep red (I have no idea what the shade is called) and the color isn't very strong when applied, just a tint, but even after the color fades my lips still feel moisturized.

This was my first lip gloss i ever got.
I can't exactly remember how much it costs, but it IS cheap.
I like the fact that it goes on smooth, but i think it feels a little bit too greasy.
The smell is bad, and tastes really weird.
Although i think this is an all over OK product, i'll stick to my Bonnebell VitaGloss! i highly reccomend it.

Crystal Glosses are nice. The certainly don't have the stank odor and crappy texture that Milani's other wand glosses have. The scent is almost a little too sweet for me, but once it is on my lips I don't really notice it..smell or taste.

Love the texture. Not sticky but also not greasy or slick. Just a nice happy medium. I like the fact that the packaging is small..although not the prettiest. Also love that after the gloss starts to wear off, my lips still feel moisturized from it.

Very nice drugstore gloss, especially for the price...I wouldn't have expected so much out of a $3 gloss. Can't wait to try more shades!

Love, love this INEXPENSIVE little wand gloss! Makes my lips look plumper, naturally sheer and glossy. Sort of like the look you see in a fashion shot, but never easily seem to achieve, yourself. Bought it in the nude shade, which works well for a totally natural lip ... BUT, if you put a little colored lipstick on the wand and then stir it up in the tube -- voilla! -- Your own custom-colored, sheer lipgloss, with a great texture for under $4. (I mixed in a coral shade, and ended up with a beautifully natural sheer pink look, that still looked like lips, rather than a lip product!) They do make this product in a light pink shade, but I didn't care for it as much as the nude shade.

Mmmmm...I love the smell of these cute little things! Vanilla cake battery, yummy! I also love the semi-sticky formula; they last long on my lips. My fave colors are Whisper and Taboo (great YLBB Clinique Tenderheart l/g lookalike!). I'm LLL_MMM, olive-neutral. I also love the small size--perfect to slip into a jacket pocket or a purse! Rave for this 3 dollar gem!

Ugh....this stuff was horrible!!! The glitter was very nice, and I liked the LOOK of it but the feel was awful!!! It totally dried my lips out and made them sticky....My daughters elmers glitter glue would've done just as well. The smell was gross too, smelled like Mr Bubble or some soapy smell...definitely a no-go for me...I was really shocked after seeing all the great reviews but my experience wasn't good. UPDATE: I made a mistake earlier, the gloss I reviewed was not the Crystal LINE, but the other one in the skinny long tube, color #22 CRYSTALS...thats the one that was nasty. :) Haven't tried the actual crystal glosses yet, but will review later.

I am at a maybe for this gloss, I have several and I just bought another called, frozen fantasy. Which looks white with shimmer. One my lips it looks like an frosty frost. Not much color, just shine with frost. But that is what you expect when you see this shade. Overall it is an okay gloss. Something cheaper then my normal chanel glossimiers.

I received a load of these BNIP in swap, and although I was a bit leery of the colors at first, I finally broke the seal on one (Allure) and tried it out. Boy, am I glad I did! This review is for the overall gloss itself; I'll do a separate review for each of the colors I have later.

These are some of the best glosses I've ever tried. To begin with, what impressed me most was the texture. These are absolutely NOT sticky in the least. Instead, they feel sLicky and smooth, like chapstick. It's true that they're very thick and syrupy looking on the wand, but once applied, I don't feel like my lips are going to magnetically attract every loose hair, errant bug, and fellow pedestrian passing by.

Another thing that impressed me was the high pigmentation in the gloss. Most glosses are very sheer, but Crystal Glosses actually impart a real color, not just a shine. For some people, the pigmentation of some of the colors might be too opaque. For those shades, my recommendation is to put a small dab on your fingertip (or a lip brush) and dot around your lips, then blend and build to achieve the color depth you like. I do this with Allure, which is much too deep a plummy berry for me to wear straight out of the tube. This method gives me a ripe, just bitten glossy look. (And even when the gloss is gone, my lips still have a tint stained onto them! But more about that in my review for the color Allure itself.)

And speaking of shine--these glosses impart the perfect amount! Some people like the ultra-wet, uber-thick, glassy look, but I generally don't like it on myself. (Too hard for me to maintain, and I hate leaving wet lip imprints on everything I drink out of.) These glosses give me what I'm looking for--a juicy, moist, ripe look. It's still shiny and glossy, but without looking so thick and goopy.

And, as other people have commented, these have a faint vanilla cookie dough type flavor/scent. However, it's very light and not at all offensive, and fades after maybe half an hour or so.

All in all, these glosses are just fabulous. Although I think it's going to be a long time before I ever run out, I would definitely repurchase (unless I find something better before then ;)). And I'll definitely be telling my friends about these glosses, too!

These are absolutely beautiful glosses. After seeing them at my local Walgreens I just had to have them, and for such a great price, they won't hurt a budget. Their shine and glimmer lasts surprisingly long, and feels great on.

I normally love low-end lipglosses (Bonne Bell, Caboodles, Wet'n Wild) but Milani just hasn't impressed me yet. I don't like the scent or taste of their glosses, and I haven't found a color yet that was actually true to what it looked like in the tube. I purchased what looked like a gorgeous orangey red and took it home to discover it went on a very blueish berry red, which absolutely doesn't work for me. The only Milani gloss I've actually liked are the new squeeze tubes...the wanded ones thus far have been a dissappointment, and I've stopped buying them in the hopes of one day getting a good one. Besides the taste and smell thing, I do agree that the quality of the product is good, so if they tweak the formula a little bit I may become a fan yet.

Bought this in Walgreens for 1.99 (on sale), then re purchased at a the regular price for 2.99. Needless to say, I love this lip gloss. It's pretty, smooth and of course shimmery :) I bought one for my mom and she even likes it..I'd defintely recommend it because its way cheaper then most lip glosses but looks and feels like "expensive" lip gloss. A + product!
