just gave myself a mani with this stuff. i love it. it makes the white tips of my fingernails look WHITE. i used two coats and filed my nails square and it looks perfect. i have fair to medium skin FYI. i can see this becoming my everyday staple because it makes my nails look done, and i didn't really have to do much. so much more fun than beige or pink. love it love it love it. i can see it looking really cool too when put over a deep black or dark purple polish.

This is my everyday nailpolish.I like low-maintenance look fo rmy nails,and I love nailpolishes that are idiot-proof.Rosy future is exactly that.It is so easy to apply that it practically spreads itself on the nail:)I am not good at painting my right hand,my lest hand is always shaky but with this nail polish it's not a problem.The colour is beautiful-I'd call it pinkish-bluish-lilac(ish):)Very elegant.P.S.My skin is pale with yellow understones.P.S.S.A tip some women may find useful-before applying this or any other nailpolish, use a buffer on your nails first.The staying power of the nailpolish will amaze you!I can go a week without reapplying.

Nice colour, goes on light pink and has a shimmer to it that is almost purple. Huge bottle which I don't particularly prefer, I'm into mini bottles that allow for purchasing more colours. The brush is ok, bristles a bit too long for my taste but I think preferable if you have long nails.
Quality of polish is average/below average with absolutely no staying power if/when subjected to water (obviously you will wash your hands and poof, there goes your manicure). If you manage to time this between hairwashes/ cleaning house or similar it has slightly better chance of lasting...I'd say a maximum of 3 days. Too expensive for my budget, has a nasty smell upon application (first time I felt like throwing up). Will not buy again, prefer other brands to this.

"Rosy Future" has been a longtime favorite of mine and have worn it over natural nails, acrylics and gel with the same great results.

It never fails to attract positive comments from women of all ages and even some men who are very tuned into noticing how a woman keeps her nails.

I have had a litte difficulty lately finding a bottle since OPI put it into their Bridal collection so it has become necessary for me to have my manicurist order it for me from their supplier. Personally, OPI might want to consider making it available again with the rest of their colors. and not have people chasing it down...you know what they say, "Out of sight, out of mind."

This polish looked terrible on me - possibly the worst I have ever tried. I was expecting a nice pale iridescent pink, but unfortunately the blue and lilac shimmer in this polish really took over when it was on my nails. There was no pink whatsoever on me, just a strange, unflattering shade of icy blue that made my hand look like death. I am assuming this is to do with my skintone, as this colour seems to have worked well for most other reviewers. I am very fair skinned, although I have neutral undertones so usually most colour groups work on me. However, I must also note that I gave this to my mother who also hated it on her - she also has pale skin, but with quite reddish undertones. Other than the colour problem, the polish was OPI's usual quality, applying with no streaks or bubbles. I assume it was as long lasting as other OPIs, but I didn't check for this, I just couldn't wait to get it off my nails.

As other reviewers had mentioned, this is a sheer opalescent satiny pink with a subtle blue flash. It's very pretty, feminine, and understated and is more interesting than a plain sheer pink.I doubt I'll be rebuying this again, though, because I like my sheers with just a touch more opacity.

This is my hg polish. I adore the soft subdued pink with the subtle blue flash. When I need to polish & run this is the one I reach for, since it is foolproof. I actually own a few backups of this, but if I did ever run out I would definitely repurchase

This is part of the 2005 bridal polish collection, that must have been a great seller because this one is part of thier OPI staples now. This is a very sheer baby pink with a light blurple irridesence. It doesn't scream look at me, but it does give this polish a bit more interest than the old sheer pink standby. It's pretty by itself layered or with a french manicure, if I ever run out I will buy again!

I second the comparison to Altar Ego. Altar Ego is a little prettier. They are both to die for! Wear over a sheer pink!

Rosy Future is a very sheer pink with blue iridescence - very nice for polished but understated nails. The iridescence gives it more interest than many ynbb sheer pinks.

Rosy future is a sheer neutral peachy pink base (similar to the color of Tutti frutti tonga) with pretty blue iridescence. Great for layering over lots of colors, french manicures or on it's own. It will probably be a staple for me, I'm a sucker for shimmery blues!

I love this sheer pink with blueish shimmer to it. It is my second chocie to Altar Ego. Still very subtle, but also icy so it's just a little bit more va-va-voom than AE :) I can however trust this one too in all situations. Love this color.

I'm starting to get into the lighter colors more and more and this one paved the way for me! Its a beautiful iridescent light pink that flashes blue. Looks great on everyone at anytime!

Rosy Future is extremely sheer pink with a strong light blue opalescent finish. I tried it first over a pink nail polish and it looked great - made the polish have a lavendar shine. Right now I'm wearing it as the top coat to a french manicure, and it's very pretty - polished, but cute and different. Rosy Future is one of my favourite sheers.

A nice color but a little too sheer for me. An opalescent sheer pink with a blue tint to the opal effect. YNBB and faker. Not a bad choice but I like Hopelessly in love and Sweetheart a bit more.

VERY sheer rose, with blue-ish iridescence. I don't like a lot of pigment on my fingernails, so this is perfect for me. I'll buy one as soon as I happen by a beauty supply that sells it.

Love this shade, especially in the summer when I have a tan. It's sheer pink with a lilac iridescence, quite a change from the sheer pink or beiges I usually wear.
