I have sensitive/combination/oily skin and I thought this cream would work nicely, but it appeared to do nothing for my skin. My daughter, however, likes it and it looks wonderful on her normal/young face.

Pros: easily spread, scent is not too overpowering, works on protecting faces that are young and normal

Cons: not suitable for older/hard to diagnose skin.

Best to purchase a trial kit that has sample sizes of their products to get a feel for what works with your skintype.

Started using this product last week as I needed a basic natural, organic moisturizer. I have mild sensitivity on my face with the beginings of rosacea on my cheeks. My t zone is oily, oily, oily so I need to be pretty careful about the products I use. Dr H Rythmatic Conditioner Sensitive really works for my rosacea clams it down straight away, I use a pea sized amount straight after cleansing at night. I don't know yet how well this moisturizer will suit my skin but the previous comments from other users about a glowing effect and a natural moist dewy skin do really seem to be true and no oily t zone! Will wait a few months to see the lasting effect before making a final judgement but so far v v happy.

I am almost done my tube so I believe I gave this a fair try. This did not do anything for me in terms of moisturizing and I found it irritating for my skin. It gave me red spots and broke me out on numerous occasions. If you have very sensitive skin, this is not for you. I was eager to try Dr. Hauschka since I heard so many good things about the brand but this cream really was not for me. It has a very strong "granny" smell, and the texture is richer than a lotion but not as rich as a cream. It has a mustardy yellow colour. I wore it twice a day for at least two weeks at first (now I am just trying to finish it) and I still had dry skin. However, I have combination skin so maybe I did not choose the right formula. It was very expensive, maybe 45$ CAD at the health food store. The packaging is a metal tube, so it's okay. Maybe I should have returned it.

Twice a year there comes a time when I like to give my skin a break from all the active anti aging products I use constantly. I pair down my routine to a gentle cleanser and a simple organic moisturizer. Quince Cream has been my go to product on these occasions for a while. It is a rich cream with a light scent of quince. It keeps my skin hydrated and a little greasy looking all day. I like the way my skin "wakes up" when I put this cream on and it feels protected and nourished. It is a great product to use any time my skin feels a little sensitive or dehydrated. It is a good, basic moisturizer and some times that is my skin needs.

My HG day cream without spf. Smells divine. Goes on smoothly and sinks in fast, not greasy and perfect base for makeup. After a few days my skin without makeup just glowed. Ingredients are all organic and top quality. This is an AMAZING cream - try rose cream if you have dry skin but for my normal-combination skin this is perfection! Packaging a bit lack lustre but hey when the stuff inside is so amazing who cares! Will buy again and again...

This is a very nice moisturiser. It's very light, but still provided enough moisturiser for my combination / normal skin. I'm not super keen on the texture, which I think is a bit matte, I definately prefer something with a bit more slip. But this would be great if the weather was very warm, but I live in the UK, so mainly it's cold here! I probably wouldn't repurchase, and I much prefer the Dr H Rose light moisturiser

Terrible terrible, do not buy if you have sensitivity to nuts of any kind! All these products are terrible and aggrevated my eczema so badly. The Naturopath lady was shocked at what happened to my skin using this range. I had the whole skincare line plus the makeups. cost hundreds what a waste. they say chemicals are the enemy but they have nothing on these so called natural ingredients.

DH has been a life saver to my severely irritated skin. It is the only brand so far that doesn't give me swollen itchy hives. I love almost all the products and consider many of them HGs. HOWEVER, I simply must review Quince Day Cream in all fairness without DH bias-ness. Been using most items in the line for sensitive skin for a month before trying Quince. Approximately 2 mins after it contacted my skin, my skin started itching and getting red. Granted it did not trigger hives and the accompanying welt like swellings, granted I had very sensitive skin at that point in time, given all these allowances, I simply fail to approve of a product that causes adverse reaction in such a short span of time. To be fair to DH, maybe I had an ingredient allergy. Because I had to wash it off immediately, I can't comment on long term benefits obviously. Upon application though, it is much much lighter in texture than Rose Day Cream but in my humble opinion, it is a much more inferior product.

I love the idea behind Dr. H. Love love love it!

However I really think their products probably perform better on older skin. Everything is very heavy due to the amount of oils they use in them. I felt that even in the winter, this moisturizor was too heavy for me. I like mosturizors that have very minimal oils and more water based ingredients I guess.

Now I use this as a foot lotion!. Its not quite as heavy as your typical foot lotions but it still moisturizes and feels nice!

i can only compare this to the rose cream original...and it's lighter than that, but *almost* as moisturizing. my skin really feels calm and more even after using this. it has been doing what i though the rose cream should, but wasn't. i do like the rose cream, scent and all, but this quince has a really great scent also, citrusy and light.....and i think i almost like it better. the texture seems more able to soak into my skin and make it smoother faster. i don't think i've had any adverse reactions from this so far.....perhaps if people have an irritation it could be from the essential oils. i do have sensitive skin, but haven't really been bothered by this. all skins are different. however, with all that being said, this doesn't have an spf for the daytime, and i feel i should be using one everyday. i might put a little of this on first, then my lotion with spf afterwards. i'm still on my trial size and am not sure if i'd spring for the full size or not. but this is a quite lovely cream!

Oh my! what a disappointment!
I just bought Quince day cream, because my Rose light cream (which I absolutely love) was nearly over and unfortunately, Rose cream + cleansing cream are in shortage in greece as I found out... So, I decided to try the quince cream which is described here by MUA reviewers as a little heavier than rose cream light. Since my skin is dehydrated because of the cold weather I thought that it would be ok.

Well it's not. It gives me a sticky feeling on my face, which fortunately doesn't show on my skin after 10-15 minutes. But heaviness is not my real problem: irritation is. I have sensitive skin, that forms red patches around my nose and mouth if it's dehydrated or treated with something that it doesn't like. Apparently, it doesn't like quince cream. The minute I put it on, I feel a mild stinging which subsides later, but then, along with the sticky clogged feeling, I feel my skin tingling! So instead of calming my red skin, this cream makes it ever redder, itchy with a burning feeling. Judging by the smell of the cream, I would say that it's high on citric acids, which I cannot understand how can be considered as appropriate for sensitive, normal to dry skin. Definitely not recommended for sensitive, prone to redness skin! I'll go back to my rose light cream, as soon as the shortage is over. Until then, I'll use avene's anti-redness cream: didn't cure the redness last time I used it, but didn't irritate me either. That was 25 euros gone down the drain... Hope I can use it on my hands at least...

UPDATE: Now that my face face has calmed down (thanks to Rose Light Day Cream) I find I can wear Quince without giving me a tingle. It still accentuate my red spots though and is much greasier than rose light so I only wear it in the house or above Rose light now that it's really cold outside. Won't repurchase for sure.

This product left my skin with enlarged pores and my skin has still not recovered in the past six months.

The basis for the cream is oils, so be aware of adding more oil to your skin...because some skin cannot take it!

I was very disappointed with this product. For this price, I expected something more effective. I have normal-dry skin and can barely feel any difference after application. In fact, after one week of use, I noticed a very dry spot on my cheekbone. Wouldn't recommend it unless you have very oily skin. Also, don't care for the packaging, it comes in a tube -- not very practical.. Won't buy again.

I had a small tube of this inside one of the travel sets. I have been using it for the past three days now (today being day four). I like the texture of the product and I am pretty neutral as to what I feel the product "does for my skin". But I simply can not tolerate the scent of it. Its not like I dislike things with a scent to them (have you ever smelled Clarins Neck Cream? DIVINE) but the scent to me in this is borderline nauseating. And it LINGERS so I feel like the scent is overpowering. Would not purchase because I find the scent unpleasant. I will be using what is left of it today and moving on to my trial size of the Rose Day Cream starting tomorrow.

I adore the scent of this - it really is zingy and refreshing in the mornings. More moisturising than the Light Rose Cream, but lighter than the normal Rose Cream. This seems to balance dry areas and oilier areas leaving skin dewy.

This is the one I use mostly (although have both the Light Rose Cream and the Rose Cream, - I swap between them depending on how my skin feels!)

I was lucky enough to get a deluxe sample of this last year. I love the fact that this cream is all natural. It did give my combo sensitive skin a dewey glowing look. My skin looked refreshed after using this for a week. I could do without the herbal smell. Its less than pleasing but not nauseating. I stopped using it because of the smell and the fact that I think this cream doesn't alow your skin to breathe. It kind of feels like you have a protective barrier on your skin (I'm guessing this is the beeswax in the formula). That being said, I imagine this is a great cream for someone with very dry skin or outdoor enthusiasts who live in very cold climates. I prefer a lighter cream that sinks into the skin and doesn't have a strong scent. But it did make my skin look nice. A little goes a long way - you don't need to use alot. This would make a fantastic handcream but its kind of pricey even as a facial moisturizer!

Great moisturizer for my dry/combo and sensitive skin! I use it in various ways: either on top of my Rose cream before putting my Alima foundation on, or I warm a tiny amount between my fingers and pat it over my foundation to give me a glowy and dewy look. This hasn't made me break out and I like the smell. I never use it alone though, simply because I prefer to use the Rose cream daily (it calms my broken capillaries so well). Since I started my Dr. H regimen my skin has improved tremendously! Less breakouts, less flakies, less visible pores. But the greatest thing of all, my face has gone from very ruddy to calm and pale, even after a hot shower. No other skincare has done that so well before.
