What I expect from a good toner is to make my skin softer and have my moisturizer easier absorbed, as some of my previous toners did.
While this toner did feel refreshing, and I enjoyed its scent, it did not do what I expected. It's not bad, but it's just not what I wanted. At the same time, it burns if it gets around my eyes, I don't think my skin is sensitive or anything but some of my recent products have been causing it to burn...
So to conclude, this product was not what I wanted so I won't be purchasing it again.

I like that it is in a spray mist bottle, but the spray top sucks!
Anyway, this product is way overpriced for what it is. I love Dermalogica and I liked this spray, but I don't think I "need" it. It smells great and is refreshing, but there are a hundred other toners that will do the same thing and more for 1/4th the cost.
I do like the travel sized bottles to keep on the airplane though for a pick-me-up. Still, those are overpriced too!

I used to love this but since they have changed the formula I HATE it.
It made my face red and burn like fire!! I'm allergic to some of their new added ingredients. They should stick with the old formula which make my skin feel fresh and clear.

I am not sure what this toner is supposed to do. Dermalogica claims that it helps your moisturizer absorb better, but I do not feel any difference. It comes with a spray nozzle and feels very refreshing to spray onto your face, which is the only reason I am using up my bottle. However, it adds no value to my routine and I will not be repurchasing it.

Great toner, very refreshing, compliments the other Dermalogica products very well. Love the fact that I can spritz it on instead of using cotton balls. My previous toner was Witch Hazel so I am experiencing some pretty heavy sticker shock, but I must say I love the scent and it feels high end so that helps my mind to justify the cost. We are worth it right...

This is my second favorite toner, my first being Clinique's Acne Solutions toner. I love the way it smells, and I like spritzing it on my face. I can say that this toner is so good I can spray it on and see within 5 mins a nice healthy glow.I carry a travel size around and spritz my face sometimes.
As with all Dermalogica products it is really over priced, I took off a lippie for that.
****Update****
I have been using this toner for about six months. I have stopped using Clinique's toner and I am very happy with this one. In fact I bought a professional sized bottle on Ebay for 60 CAD.
***Update~12/11
I've been using this toner consistently for about a year. It's a great toner, when my skin is stable. Otherwise I have to keep going back to Clinique's toner (acne solutions I think) because I have KP and break-out that are not the type that come to the surface.
It's full of good and bad stuff. I have found that when I use this toner, my skin is more sensitive and reactive to certain cosmetics (like MAC Blushes) but when I get up in the middle of the night and spritz my face I wake up to a smooth, glowing complexion.
It's very moisture-attractive, and in the summer I've found I don't need moisturizer; multi active toner is enough. I like the spray bottle, but I find the product underwhelming of late. I find myself reaching for a sample of Avene toner I received recently.
It's ridiculously expensive. Nauseatingly, guilt inducingly expensive I literally cringe when I buy it. I stand there at the Demalogica display and contemplate the money I'm about to shell & sigh & b!tch & moan. I simply cannot trust I am getting a pure product on Ebay, several times what I have ordered looked tampered with. Once I gave someone a large bottle for a gift...and it was not even Dermalogica toner. We don't know what it was.
For the large part, as someone else stated in their review this toner; it's nothing special. It's good, not great, and not worth over sixty bucks for 250ml. For this reason, some of the ingredients and the lack of consistent "wow" factor I am seeking a new toner at a better price. I'll finish the bottle I have, & I'll not repurchase.

This is my favourite toner ever! Its very cooling, refreshing and moisturising to use. I love the fact that its a spray bottle so you can just spritz and go. It really helped my inflamed and sore acne prone skin and left it smooth and soothed. It has really helped clear my skin up and is a staple in my routine. I use it after I have cleansed with the Anti Bac wash and while it is still wet I apply my moisturiser as I feel that it helps my skin to absorb it better. The only let down of this product is that it is very expensive, it does however come in a very large bottle which lasts you forever! Highly recommend this toner.

I do realy like this toner, It's realy refreshing and feels cooling on the skin. I do think my skin has improved whilst using it. It's the only thing from dermalogica that I can justify buying again. It says to use the activemoist whilst this is still damp on skin but I find it's better if you let this dry first. It's a good toner for sensitive skin as it isn't too abrasive. I like the fact that it comes in a spray bottle as none of the product gets soaked up into cotton wool, I think I may do that to my other toners aswell.

I used to use this when I had major breakouts, like fourteen or fifteen.
I cannot claim that this is a good toner because the dermalogica range didn't work on me at all.
But in terms of refreshing, this is this! I love it But in terms of removing my acne and oiliness... Not so much.
But since I have mild acne now, I will love to use it if I have money though. :)

I've used this toner for about a month now, and I've completely fallen for it. It's the only thing - out of everything I've tried - that's helped my dry skin to stay smooth and non-flaky throughout the whole day. Since I've got dehydrated skin - acne prone with fatty products - it's perfect for me as I don't have to use such a fat (oily?) facial cream when I use this.
I also love that it comes in a spray bottle.

I've been using this for about a month and I like the way it works. I like the spray bottle because I can spritz this onto my face and neck evenly but I don't like it because I feel that applying toner with a cotton pad helps to get rid of excess sebum and cleanser residue. So I feel two ways about this. I do like the fact that this helps the moisturiser to absorb better into my skin and it also feels refreshing too!

I love the feeling of this toner. So far, I think this is the most effective toner I've tried although I don't like the fact that it is in a spray bottle. I feel that this causes product loss because you can't get an even spray so it takes multiple sprays to get it on. I think I may try just taking the top off and putting it on a cotton ball. Anyways, this helps my moisturizer go on nicely and works well for my combination skin.

I love this product and use it twice-daily prior to moisturising. I've found that my moisturiser is more readily absorded when I use this product. I went without for about a fornight and could definately tell. I have normal skin, but I think some one with dry skin woud love this.

This is an essential part of my face care routine. I have combination skin that tends toward dryness and find that if I don't use a toner I can't seem to get enough moisturizer on. This toner works very well to "seal" the skin and prep it for the next steps of your skin care regimen such as moisturizer, sunscreen, etc. I use this morning and night and would be lost without it!

I am using this toner for 6 months and I can tell this is the best I ever used. I combine it with precleanse and active moist. I noticed that active moist works better if I spray this right before. I was only using active moist alone but it was a little bit light for my cheek area (which is dry and I have an oily prone t-zone) but the trio reduced considerably my blackheads, cleared my pores and moisturised my skin just enough. I even noticed that my skin has been tightened a little and people says that my skin look better these days :). Pricecy at first, as you have to spray at least 4-5 times for the entire face but I think it worths since I am just on the 3/4 of the bottle. I tried every price range and never been so pleased. I already ordered the second bottle!!!

After using it for a month, the hype about this toner is a wonder to me. The spray is very targeted so I have to spritz at least 6-7 times to cover my face without using a cotton ball. The toner has a white color, and sits on top of my skin. I find it unpleasant to use without any benefits to justify its price.

This was a alright toner. It didnt stink or leave any film. but i didnt feel that it toned skin or anything....i would use this to sooth and calm skin if i feel that my skin has been sensitive after sunburn or scrub. I wouldnt repurchase just because it didnt justify the price.

Recently I decided to upgrade my skincare regime from the supermarket brands that I'd been using for years. I started with four Dermalogica products; Special Cleansing Gel, Skin Prep Scrub, Multi-active Toner and Skin Smoothing Cream.
Frankly, I don't think a toner is really necessary. They hark back to when the standard cleanser was cold cream and an astringent was needed to remove the greasy residue.
I really sit on the fence with this product. It does no harm but on the other hand, it doesn't produce a noticeable improvement. The spray dispenser is very good. The bottle is quite large and I'm sure will last me a long time, probably 12+ months. To make it easier to use, I keep a travel sized spritzer topped up instead.
The main benefit I see from using a toner is that because your skin is moist, you need to use less moisturiser as the cream spread further.
I'll probably repurchase when this bottle eventually runs out.

I've used this a lot in the past, and I did love it as a toner, it really freshens up your face, and it smells amazing :D
I've switched to MB's "C" toner, and it keeps my oily skin much more shinefree than this from Dermalogica does - if you have combination skin, this is great!

I bought this along with active moist and special cleansing gel. It was quite refreshing, though i think my spritzer was a little sticky as i got bursts of liquid splatting across my face instead of a nice smooth spray.
Has a slightly medicinal smell and packed with lovely ingredients.
Not entirely sure if it did anything for my face besides removing the last of my make up, but hey, you live and learn.
