I have been using this shampoo on and off for about 6 years or so and have been through many changes with my hair. I am a natural medium brown brunette (thick, semi coarse textured, very prone to split ends) and have had my hair highlighted and dyed blonde then back to brunette twice during this time. While my hair was dyed blonde this shampoo actually dried my hair out even more. And same goes with the conditioner. The conditioner is a different story but it seemed to suck all the moisture out of my hair. NOW that my hair has grown out with no chemicals in it this shampoo is very nice to my hair. It cleans it, makes it feel normal & leaves my hair smelling like tropical fruit which I completely love. ---Overall I like this shampoo but I dont love it. I am mostly attracted to how nice it smells but performance-wise it only cleans my hair & makes it feel normal so long as my hair isnt chemically treated. When my hair is chemically treated it dries my hair out in a bad way. Same goes for the conditioner.

Excellent. LOVE it and I am very loyal to this after experimenting for years and years with high end, natural/vegan etc. shampoos and conditioners.

I'm sold! It makes my damaged, colour treated hair a lot more manageable and healthier looking.

I really dislike this shampoo. Smells really nice but that about it.
It left my hair and body feeling sticky all the time, the bottle is so hard to open everytime I'm in the shower, the lid is a long thin cap with a ball at the corner which I have to dig my nails in everytime just to open up the darn thing. My hair will feel slippery like it stick has shampoo residue on it when it's wet and no matter how much i try to wash it off it just feels like that, and then after my hair dries if feels sticky.

Horrible, worst shampoo ever.....dries out my hair ridiculously, and it feels so gross afterward.

I'm on a quest for a shampoo for my dry, coarse hair.
I have extremely thick hair. It's very difficult to find a product that makes my hair smell good, and permeates to the scalp.

That's one aspect of this shampoo that I love. I can always rely on it to really clean my hair and leave it smelling wonderful.

The dryness factor hasn't really changed. It's more flexible, I'll give the shampoo that. But in terms of coarseness and dryness--my hair hasn't really changed.

I'm not thrilled with the shampoo, but I like it enough to continue using it until I'm through with the bottles I purchased.

this is the WORST product I have ever used.

I cannot begin to explain how much damage it did to the skin on my back. Virtually ALL of my back was covered in pimples after I used this product and the conditioner one time. I had to get prescription topical antibiotics to make it all go away.

This has never happened to me in any capacity with any other product. Garnier Fructis is the worst mistake I have ever made in my entire life. Don't buy it.

Makes my hair super smooth. Cleans really well.
Does not make my hair fall out like Lorean Pantene.
MY HG. I keep going back to this one and will keep on buying!

Okay so I got this cause it was on sale on Costco and I had run out of my Pantene Shampoo.I got the sleek and shine version. I totally regret buying this my hair can't get any worse after using this shampoo. I have fine hair which gets tangled easily. This shampoo dries hair, tangles it, makes it appear greasy, and frizzy and it's watery..I cannot stress how much I hate this shampoo, don't waste your money! The conditioner isn't any better either.. I stopped using this and started using Pantene again and my hair is soft again, and is yet recovering from the damage this did to it. I recommend the Pantene Nature Fusion is so much better.

''Ewwww, Garnier sucks!'' Almost everyone I knew told me that. I tried out Garnier's fructis fortifying shampoo anyway. And it was awesome! Not only did it reduce my hairfall, it cleaned my hair well and almost completely got rid of my dandruff! The smell is gorgeous and fruity, what more can I say? I looooove this shampoo :) It should so have a better reputation.

Crappy, CRAPPY product! I used to use this when I was younger because my hair was naturally healthy enough to "handle it", I guess. Now, this makes my hair super dry and coarse, frizzy and dull. This is terrible, and the matching conditioner isn't the least bit more worthy.

I bought a bottle of this shampoo and conditioner because I ran out of my usual (herbal essences) and it was on sale. This has got to be THE WORST shampoo ever!! It leaves my hair super greasy. After a week of greasy hair days, I said screw it, and threw it out.

I like this product, but the scent is a little strong. It has a thick, creamy texture and lathers well. It is okay, but I elected to purchase a product with a less, intense scent.

I just wanna say how much I hate the packaging of Fructis shampoos. The snap is so hard to open, especially in the shower. Not only is the cap so mercilessly tight, it's soapy as well so I have to slam it against the rail of the shower door to get it open.

As for the product itself, it's doo doo. I only use it if there's nothing else in the shower. I makes my hair limp, slippery and frail. It doesn't make my hair greasy, which is good but still I hate Fructis.

Terrible product. I have the Colour Resist family size version from Costco. I don't have any colour treated hair but I don't think it should make such a big difference. After using this shampoo my hair starts falling off a lot more than when I use other shampoo. I still finished up the whole bottle since I don't want to waste it. Never ever buy this product!

TERRIBLE STUFF! I used the Dry/Damaged Shampoo and Conditioner and it was literally like death for my hair. The first wash or two, everything was fine and my hair looked fairly good. Then I noticed my hair coming out in clumps and feeling like straw .....and 2 other friends of mine had the exact same experience. I didn't realise that 'Dry/Damaged' referred to what Fructis would do to your hair! Never ever again.

This is a review for the version for color-treated hair. This stuff is awful. It doesn't lather, doesn't smell good, and it leaves my hair tangled and feeling like straw. I've given it an entire week of my life, and now I'm giving it to the garbage man,.

I bought the 25.4 oz yeah what a mistake. The smell is okay but it seems to linger. I like the smell to fade as it dries this will not do that. So if you use another product in your hair it will compete with this smell. I am not a fan of the shampoo or the conditioner. I bought the big bottle of each. I like the hair mask that's why I picked this up an d why I bought the bigger bottles. I like the hair dye as well just not a fan of this.
