after reading the reviews here, i headed straight to the dior counter and got myself a box of the loose powder in the medium shade. it's absolutely fantastic! i've got bad skin from acne and i usually require a pretty heavy coverage from my foundation. but after getting the dior loose powder, all i had to do was slap on some concealer on my zits, dust the loose powder on and i've got perfect glowing skin! it's just really fantastic and looks much more natural than when i have my foundation on.

the packaging could be a little better (when i opened my box, some of the powder had shifted to the side, but the screw cap inside managed to save it from spillage. the brush included is absolutely lovely though and very lush.

all in all, i think it's my favourite dior cosmetic product, along with the new rouge replenishing lipstick (the one with monica bellucci for spokeswoman). i'd definitely buy it again in a heartbeat!

I've read the reviews and decided to buy this powder but when I got to the shop I decided to try others also. It turned out that Dior's is the best. Simply the best. I like the texture, the package and the brush most of all others! Now I think that I'd better buy lightest shade (I've bought medium) but still I'm happy! It totally controls my face shining.

So far I really like this. I tend to try new products once I'm finished but will prob buy this agian. I have this in the lighest transparent colour which is great on my nc15-20 skin.
My skin is very sensitive and breakout prone and I have had no problems with this and have been using it for about 3 weeks now! Think my skin is actually clearer.

This is a wonderful and delicate loose powder. I think I will really stay with this one for a long while, because it feels on my skin like satin, it doesnt dry out my skin, it lasts a nice long time, it has a lovely decent smell, and it gives my skin such a sweet and even fresh look. Oh, and it also reminds me of some 30s glamour.
A very neat thing, this powder. I didnt try loose powders out since years, because I was so terribly disappointed with a Chanel loose powder which dried out my skin, but Dior is way much better there.UPDATE: They changed the ingredients of this powder. Now it contains Shea Butter. Who is acne prone like me can get breakouts from it. I tried it in the store, and on the same day after I removed my makeup I saw two clogged pores, which didn't happen to me except I have something oily on my face. Too bad they changed it because the ingredients before they changed it where just perfect for my skin, it was either drying nor breaking me out. Now I am on the hunt of another perfect powder which is not so easy.

I have this in 621 Transparent Medium. This gives my skin a "candlelight glow." It is fabulous! Sometimes, I wear this powder without any foundation. I love it! My only complaint is that the box is plastic - c'mon Dior, for this much money, you can give us better packaging!!!

This is so lovely! Wonderful silky texture, makes my skin look incredibly smooth. The brush is perfect and this will probably last forever. Doesn't change color during the day and is well worth the money.

My only gripe with this product is that I am wary to travel with it because I do not want it to break - and I would prefer a more elegant box. The plastic navy box, even though it says "Dior" in "gold" on the top, just isn't elegant enough for Christian Dior! I wish Dior sold little travel sifters into which you could transfer this powder. Other than that, I ADORE this powder. This is DiorSkin Loose Powder, and I have it in 621 Transparent Medium. It really makes my skin glow. I wear it alone or over foundation; either way, it makes my skin look fabulous. Even the brush (half moon) it comes with is wonderful. I have washed it over and over again, and it has retained its bristles. I will buy this powder again and again, although I don't think I will need to buy it frequently because it lasts a long time. :)

This is the best loose powder I've ever tried. I've never been a big fan or user of loose powder because I always seemed to get too much on my face, and it looked cakey on me. This is so fine that is really seems to just disappear after perfecting and setting my foundation. I sometimes even use this without foundation and it just gives a great sheer finish to my skin. The packaging is wonderful. There is a screen over the opening to the powder, then an inside lid which screws on over the opening so there is no spillage. The brush fits inside that, and then there is an outer cover to the box. Does that make sense? The point is the screen keeps you from getting too much powder on your brush, and the inside screw-on lid keeps the powder from spilling. Even the brush included with the powder works well for me.

I'm using 001 - Clear Transparent. I've got combination skin, but more on the dry side lately. I'll definitely repurchase this powder.

AMAZING. I think I've found my HG powder! I have normal to dry skin and don't like or need much powder. Dior's powder is the finest powder I've ever seen and applies so soft - I barely need to use much and my skin looks flawless. Love the soft texture and delicate scent too. I have this in the lightest shade and since it doesn't take much, I'm sure I'll have this forever!

absolutely beautiful texture, and great oil absorbing quality. I used to use Lancome's photogenic, but the quality of CD poudre LIbre is unrivaled. It is so finely milled, and soft in texture. I'm using the medium transparent tone for my asian skin, and i did not have to blot my face for 7 hrs. I use this in conjunction with diorskin fluide (#200), and the finish is just so dewy, and soft, never greasy and oily. I'm leaving Lancome's foundations for good. Dior and Chanel's makeup are the best~

Dior's Invisible plus600 is the best loose powder i've tried. It's tripled milled and lightweight. The sad thing though is that they've discontinued it.

This is just a powdwer to me. I've been using it for years though... if I go without powder... well it doesn't really make a difference. Has never made me break out though, which is good.

Lovely powder, with such elegant packaging. This looks perfect atop my dressing table, and the quality of the powder is wonderful. Becca is more sheer, but this keeps me shine-free for longer. Silky, light, and velvety-soft.

This is one of the better loose powders out there, and cool packaging too :P The powder is finely milled and doesn't cake or look chalky on me. It' has a lovely texture and good staying power. However, I still find myself reaching for my Becca and Chantecaille powders
