I like this product because it is easy to carry around in stick form and feels wonderfully cool and moist on my thirsty skin. I only wear this in late spring and the summertime in "Natural" when I prefer lighter coverage. Natural is an okay color, but not perfect for me. I find the coverage to be on the sheer side, but adequate.

I have this in Cameo, the lightest shade available. It matches my skintone rather well, not too yellow or orange. The staying power is awesome; I can wear it for 10 hours with minimal fading and creasing. It could be worn without loose powder, but for oily areas, loose powder helps to extend the wear. The coverage is great too because it hides minor acne scars without that mask-like look. However, more severe scars would require concealer. Wonderful product, but at $40 this is certainly one of the more pricey foundations.

this is my fave stick foundation (but then again, i have not tried becca). it goes on cool & blends smoothly & quickly. i only need to dot this here & there on my face and the coverage is excellent with superb lasting power that does not streak, cake nor oxidize. the color is also a perfect match (not too pink / yellow).

This is a trully great foundation. It is very rare to see the name of a product to match its actual quality and performance. I adore the color selection and the light texture. And it does behave somewhat well during the hot summer days.

If the quality of Chanel products married the color range of Bobbi Brown, well, it would be the perfect luxury cosmetic line. None of the Waterlights shades, nor any Chanel foundation shades for that matter, seem to work with my sometimes cool, sometimes warm-toned skin. I have not encoutered anything like their stick formula, which glides on smoothly and dries to the characteristic Chanel silkiness with no oily residue in the least. I am hoping that someday they either improve their color range, or another company cracks their secret formula and makes something that's right for me :)

This is the best foundation stick I've ever tried. It's easy to apply and gives a natural buildable coverage. Because it contains water it's also very hydrating which my dry skin loves.
Chanel foundations are very good in my opinion and the Chanel colour range is good too.

I just purchased the Waterlights in Shell (1.5 intensity) and was rather pleased with it. I normally use a medium plus coverage foundation, however I've found that this product, although fairly sheer, is very blendable, and can be layered. It neutralizes my red patchy spots, and melts in beautifully. I still need to use a concealer (Paula Dorf Magic Stick) on major spots and blemishes, but all in all, it's a great natural looking foundation...not too matte or dewy. I don't find that I need to set it with powder. It has it's own slightly matte texture. I have large pores, and this minimizes them, and doesen't settle in fine lines. I would purchase again.

Having been disillusioned with the pan-stik foundation sticks I used in the past, I was reluctant to try Chanel Waterlights. However, I gave in and selected the shade Sand, and went to work. This is a water-based foundation, and glides on smoothly and easily, blending into skin with a velvet feel. The majority of the colors are true and yellow based (read: NOT overly pink or orange). I find this works very well when coupled with Chanel Quick Cover concealer in Candlelight. I would buy this again.

Wonderful product. Gives a very natural finish, the colour just disappers into my face when I swipe it on. However, as my face tends to be on the dry side these days, the loose powder which is needed to set this foundation tends to accentuate the fine lines on the outside of my nose. Because of this, I may not buy this again. I am thinking of trying Shiseido Hydro-Liquid compact to see if it does gives me a matte but slightly moist finish. If you don't mind using foundation + loose powder, I can recommend this!

A very nice product that's very convenient. It feels nice going on, blends well and looks natural. The only reason I wouldn't re-purchase is that I prefer the Tient Naturale.

This is yet another review of mine that seems to have dissapeared from MUA so I am writing it again. I first reviewed this product little bit after it was released at Nordstrom when I was one of the first and few people who was using it and raving about it. I purchased it in Cameo. The shade differs from the Cameo Int#1 on my Teint Fluide Universel. This is more yellow and a bit darker. I tried using it as concealer on lids...on the nose, chin and forehead area only to even out skin tone but in general the color was not 100% right for me. The finish is very nice on this foundation but the shade limitations made it a little obvious on my skin. It probably was not evident ot others but I love sheer formula foundations which is the reason I don't use this as often. I prefer VL water Canvas or Awake Hydro Touch. So I was forced to either use it in specific areas or set with T.LeClerc Lilium loose powder to neutralize the yellow. Love the formula. The cool feel on the skin. The portability factor. The fact that is did not break me out or cause me any reactions. Its the color that's wrong for me.So while I still own it and use it from time to time on blemishes to reduce redness or around nose area if I see a broken capillary or perhaps as a concealer on lids on bad allergy days I won't repurchase. Unless they come up with new color options...lighter and less yellow I won't buy this again. It is however a fantastic foundation which is the reason I'm still going to give it 4 lipsticks. :-)

This foundation stick is luscious.. IF you have normal to dry skin! While it felt refreshing and cool on application (thanks to the 30% water content), it has no mattifying properties. It was beautiful on my dry cheeks - felt natural, and gave a gorgeous natural coverage. However, on my slightly oily tzone, it took only about an hour before I looked shiny! Now I just use this on my cheeks, and Chantecaille's New Stick on my tzone, and that works out perfect :)

This is a wonderful foundation! It's the first stick foundation I've tried and I found it to work great for my extremely sensitive + normal/slightly dry&oily skin. It only provide sheer/light coverage. It goes on giving a "cool" sensation, very easy to blend, but it does get a little oily later in the day (probably 'cause it's summer time right now..).

Chanel's Waterlights foundation stick delivers a natural look with sheer coverage. The colors are nicely yellow-based, and the foundation disappears into my skin (like a good foundation should). This is a very nice foundation. I have combination, acne-prone skin. This foundation does not highlight any dry patches, but I do need a little concealer for any blemishes. If you need heavier coverage, it is not for you, however.

A big fat rave for this product! This foundation is up there with Water Canvas as being one of my favorite foundations.
Waterlights is a stick foundation that contains 30% water (hence the name..:) ). It goes on very lightly and gives a sheer, natural finish. I would say this is a light to medium coverage foundation (depending on how much you apply.) Its a bit pricey at $37.50 but look like it would last for quite a while.
I have combo skin and this looks good on both my oily and dry areas.
