I have loved this product in the past because it was the best powder i could find for my oily skin. Overall this is a good powder but after a few hours my foundation changes colour with this powder and it gets cakey. its not bad but not wow.
Now i am absolutely in love with mattify! cosmetics. Much cheapier and way better!

just an ok product. does what all powder do, set the make-up and matify it. but the problem is by noon, my nose will be really shiny. had to touch-up. still in search of a product which can really prevent this. sighh... couldn't find a good color match too. #10 is too white, #12 is too orange. had to mix the 2 to get a better color match, but even after mixing, still a little orange. the powder can get a litte cakey after applying, so have to be very careful not to apply too much. will repurchase until i find a better product.
UPDATE: Realised that this is the cause of caking & creasing under the eye. Happen to look at my face under natural light, and was horrified at the number of lines that it accentuates. realised that it goes on quite thick too, even after using a brush. made my face looked made-up. OMG, can't believe i've been using this for a few months. argh.

My skin's really oily in the T-zone and this did a fine job of keeping the oil down. FOR A WHILE.
I emphasize that because I've never (yet - we live in hope!) found my Wunder Powder - pressed OR loose.
The powder applies lightly and doesn't look mask-like when set properly. It gives my skin a light, natural finish. In all honesty though, it wasn't a whole lot more matte than other powders I've tried.
Re. the container:
- It's small, sturdy and very TRAVEL-FRIENDLY. However...
- The powder gets everywhere even if you're careful
- Like most companies, the puff they give you is laughable!
This is one of the better powders out there for slightly oily to oily skin. I would call it good - but not great.

This finishing powder did little to nothing in terms of "controlling" sebum production. My face was an oily mess within an hour or two after applying this over my foundation, and it caked up a lot more than the powder I used before this. I did find that using a makeup-fixing spray helped to not have this powder cake up, but my face was still as oily as when I do not use any sort of mattifying products on my face.

Best powder in my opinion, tossed out all the rest I had. I have this in Translucent and though it's on the lighter side, it looks very natural, I just finish off my look with blush and bronzer if I want a more made up look or more colour. The powder itself is so light and airy and I love using the puff on my face and then blending it with my face brush- warning: don't puff carelessly around your nose and sniff at the same time! :)
All in all, does not cake at all, leaves me super matte and polished. I've had it for many months now and still heaps left. Love it.

have been using this for about two weeks now, after returning nars loose powder because of the breakouts. so far i love this powder.. good price (25$?) helps control oil without breaking me out, matte finish but doesnt look cakey or drying, coverage is sheer but can be bult on if you set the powder with the puff rather than a brush.. i still use my makeup forever hd powder over this one also and it looks great together.

I've been using this for over a month and I just love it. I had initially gone to Sephora to find Nars' loose powder but they all seem to be out. But, I needed a finishing powder and I came across this one. I'm glad that I did. It's super matte on my face. It gives a smooth and even finish and the powder does not settle on my giant pores. This is a major plus!! I’m so glad that they run out of Nars and I found this one instead. I will definitely repurchase but it may take a while since there is a lot product and I use this everyday!

I'm NC30ish and use Translucent (12); it really is translucent so there's no white cast. I apply with MUFE's kabuki brush.
Super Matte is finely milled, so it does not look cakey as I've found MAC Blot to be. It has a nice finish, but nothing mindblowingly special. Its lasting power is not the greatest.
Meow Cosmetic's Top Cat Finishing Powder beats Super Matte in all categories and it is currently my favorite.
Some finishing powders I've tried: MAC Blot, MAC MSFN, UD Razor Sharp, Meow Cosmetics Top Cat, Alima Satin Finishing Powder, Fyrinnae Oil-Control

I am a longtime fan of MAC Blot Powder (pressed) to keep any oiliness on my combination skin in check, but I was in the mood to try something new, so I bought Make Up for Ever Super Matte Loose Powder at Sephora. Shade 12 (Translucent) works well on my very pale skin (I use MAC Blot in Light). It's certainly the best loose powder I've used, but I still prefer MAC Blot for two reasons: (1) I did a split-face test, applying one powder to each side of my face. I applied both with a powder brush rather than the puffs that come with the products. Upon initial application, the side with the MUFE powder definitely looked better since it was less obviously powdery. However, within a couple hours and for the rest of the day, the MAC side looked better because it was less oily. I'd rather look better for the bulk of the day, especially since I don't usually leave the house immediately after applying my makeup. (2) I really prefer the convenience of pressed powder since it takes up less space when I travel. Overall, MUFE Super Matte Loose Powder is nice, but I still prefer MAC Blot Powder.
Ingredients: talc, silica, nylon-12, silk powder, propylparaben, butylparaben, methylparaben, dehydroacetic acid. Great loose powder. Leaves everything matte, but not dead matte like the blot powder often did. Love that the powder puff can fit in the cap for travel. I'd repurchase but I haven't even made a dent in it and I've had it for over 6 months already.

I have really dry skin so I can't really comment on how well this powder keeps the face matte. I use it for setting the foundation only, not for mattifying the skin.
That being said, I absolutely love how it makes my skin feel and look like. It's extremely fine-milled powder and I haven't managed to make it look cakey, even when I'm a bit heavy handed with applying it.
I always have problems with skin care/make-up products making my skin break out (I have rosacea), but with this one I had no problems. It doesn't irritate my skin or dry it out at all.
I have it in shade 2 which is scary-looking light pink, but even on my fair skin the pink doesn't show at all and it matches my skintone perfectly.
It comes in a 28g/0.98 oz. jar, which does feel small compared to many other loose powders. It's not the cheapest powder either, so I'll probably try something cheaper when I run out of it, but will definitely re-purchase if I can't find anything equally as good.

I am shocked by a lot of the bad reviews. I really like this powder. I found a trick that keeps me matte and my pores look smaller- I use the puff and pack on quite a bit of powder with it througout my tzone and cheeks (where my pores are huge!) THEN take a clean powder or kabuki brush and buff through my tzone (buff gently, just to remove excess). I love it!

i am very oily. this did not mattify as advertised. i also always wore it under my estee lauder matte liquid makeup, so i would hope this would have worked out even more---sadly to my dissapointment, i continued to be oily within 2 hours. id have to reapply/dab the oil off my face at least every 2 hours. does not seem to do the job for me. i never had an issue with it breaking out my skin, so i guess that's a plus for it.

Nine months out of the year, this is the loose powder I use to set my makeup. It isn't particularly fantastic at blurring imperfections, but it's great for fighting shine. I've tried using a brush to get coverage that's more sheer but it doesn't look nearly as good as it does if I use the velour puff included. So that's what I do. I'm extremely acne-prone and this gives me no trouble, though in the winter I switch to something else because it can be drying.

I still have the ugly dark marks on my nose and forehead from where large zits erupted because of using this product. For a week or so, people kept commenting on my huge pimples (because they said I usually had such nice clear skin). It took a month of switching to other products to let my skin calm down and clear up. Then I gave it a go again recently. I don't even know why... maybe I just really wanted this MUFE product to work for me... But sure enough, the next day I had the same growth of giant zits again. Ugh. I don't want to risk the condition of my skin anymore, and honestly, I get better oil control and mattifying results from my cheap Pond's beauty powder.

When i first bought this product i was so excited - the colour match was perfect, it went on so smooth and it looked flawless. I was so happy with the way my skin looked for the first few days.
However, after about a week a started to break out on my cheeks, my forehead, near my nose. I didn't even think that it might have been this powder at first, thinking that it might have been stress related. Yet, i have switched back to my MAC mineralize powder and my skin is starting to recover. This powder definitely broke me out, and it broke me out badly.
