I guess I must be in the minority here, but I actually really like this product. I have tried many self-tanners for the face, and I actually think this one is the best for me. It doesn't break me out at all, which is huge! The bronze is a nice color and if I don't wash my face soon after I put it on I think the self-tanner part gives me a totally believable dark tan. I do apply it every day, so I can see why people say it doesn't last long. Until I find something better this is my HG self-tanner for the face.

Did not like this product at all. I totally agree with the earlier review that it has no self-tanning power. The bronzer creates an ok effect when it is applied, but the color totally washes off in the morning. It is just that - a bronzer, not a self tanner. I was very disappointed with this product, especially since it did cause a few breakouts on my oily/combination skin.

I find this to be an okay self-tanner. It has a light tint so you see where you apply, and it gives a very light coverage which is a bonus. It really gives a nice glow to the skin, but it doesn't last at all and the smell is gross and overpowering.

This was a great tanner for people that have no tan at all and want to get a bit of color in their face for a nice healthy glow. I thought that this product was great. It left no marks and gave a natural and warm glow to my skin.

This facial tanner gives a really good color, but a previous poster was right- you really have to put it on over night or early in the day before you wash your face again because it leaves a weird residue. I never broke out from it and I never got any horrible streaks...

I was excited to find a drugstore self tanner for the face, but completely disappointed in the product. Has absolutely NO self-tanning power at all, and didn't last after the first face washing. Ended up with a stinky bronzer. Yuck. Would not repurchase.

This is fine as a bronzer, but if you are looking for a sunless tanner, you're out of luck. It washes off completely and there is no color left. Far too much maitenance for a sunless tanner.

This is the only self tanner (for the face) that doesn't break me out. I have sensitive/combination skin in the summer and dry in the winter and this product works wonderfully. The only complaint I have is that it makes my skin look shiny and oily, so I apply it in the evening or approximately 5 hours before I go out that way I can re-wash my face. I love this product and I have been using it for about 3 years. It is the only tanner I use on my face. It doesn't make your face dark, just leaves a nice sun kissed tan and a healthy glow.
**Update** I recently purchased this again, 2005-2006 and I didn't get the same results that I have in the passed. I am not sure if Neutrogena has changed the ingredients. It seemed to sit on my face and not sink in, so the tan looked like makeup. I don't think I will buy this again.
