This was my first MAC blush. It lasted me forever since it's so pigmented. It's a matte chocolate brown with no strong golden/yellow undertones. MAC call's it a muted golden brown and that perfectly describes it. It's the perfect shade for making cheekbones pop.

I was afraid of this color at first as its a very brown and intense color. But it works out great as a contour. I know others have experienced it looking too reddish but I don't feel this is the case for me. For reference I am NC45,

starts off brown.. but with an hour or two it hanges to a blotchy redish color.. not good for a contour ill tell you that.

I love Kandee Johnsons videos! She's so knowledgeable and the looks she creates are awesome. That's why I bought this contouring shade like so many others here on MUA.
Unfortunately, Blunt didn't really work for me. I find that the colour is VERY difficult to work with. It's a kind of dark brown with muddy/reddish/plum undertones which are obviously thought to imitate the appearance of a shadow which theoretically makes perfect sense . Yet, in reality this colour is a little too reddish for my NC20-25 skintone and it is SO difficult to blend this stuff in that I always end up wasting too much time with this product trying so hard to make it look right because the key to contouring is that the shade melts with the rest of your foundation, otherwise it will look so obvious and not elegant at all. I can make it look okay after very careful blending and constantly controlling the amount of pigment beneath my cheekbones, but you know what? This is way too annoying for me! I want a product that I can handle easily and that I can use without so much hassle.
In comparison, I have also bought the Sculpt and Accentuate Powder by MAC which is WAY better too work with and I don't have to be afraid to overdo it and end up like a clown. Furthermore, the Sculpt and Accentuate is more finely milled and so easy to blend in (I use the 165) and has a colour (light milky chocolate brown with no RED undertones) that suits my skintone a lot better. So unless you can pull off reddish tones on your skin I would consider buying another contouring shade.

I bought this for contouring my face as it was recommended by the MAC sales assistant and I have to say, I really regret buying it. First, its really hard to blend and its really dark that when I have it on my face almost looks like its bruised (I'm NC42/44 for refference). I tried everything - using a light hand when applying it and trying to really blend it but it doesn't work. I'm not repurchasing.

I was recommended this color to be a matte contour/bronzing powder. This is a matte color. The color is SUPER pigmented, just one swipe and you get tons of color on your brush. I tried using this as a contour color but it made me look.. not right. Sorry to be a fuddy duddy. I tried with a very light hand and lots of blending but it didn't really work. This color IMHO is way too warm to be contouring with. As an all over bronzer (with and EVEN LIGHTER hand) made me look muddy. Believe me, I looked like Snooki after her spray tans.. an Asian Snooki, what is wrong with that picture? The one thing I definitely liked about this color was when I did pop it onto my cheeks with a pink blush under, it made the pink stand out more. Yes, it did go on smoothly. Yes, it's very pigmented. Yes, it blended nicely. BUT its too warm imo to be used as a contour color no matter how lightly of a hand I used. I hope everyone else has better luck with it. (btw, I'm NC30)

love love love this blush as a contour on my nw45 complexion. I use it with MAC's pink swoon blush as it is a light color and needs the contrast of contouring...its an adorable look with a natural pink subtle lipgloss or lipstick! ...try it ladies..

Yikes! I bought this based on Kandee Johnson's video's too. I am #125/ #118 in MUFE HD and approx NC20-25 in Mac and this does not look flattering or natural on me no matter how much blending, which brush or how light a hand I use. Its way too warm and red, and it makes me look like I've fake tanned just one part of my face. So I can't use it, but I'm giving it a neutral three since I'm sure it would look lovely on others. No idea about the staying power since I can't leave my house with it on - lol!

This is my HG contour blush. I bought this YEARS ago and have still not hit pan. I use it daily. It's HIGHLY pigmentated and quite dark so I think it's probaby suited to medium/ darker skinned ladies. I use mine with my MAC 168 under my cheekbones and under my jawline and it looks natural but makes such a difference. I find blending with a kabuki afterwards makes a lot of difference to how natural it looks. 10/10. Shame you can't buy it in the UK though. Bought mine from evil bay about three years ago. X

It's a perfect contour shade for tan skin. I tried it as a brow filler and matte shadow but the reddish undertones totally popped out way too much on me then. I ended up selling it, I just got tired of lookin at it, it honestly will last u forever because it's so pigmented a lil goes a long way. I'd rather just contour my cheeks with my Too Faced bronzer now. It's still a great buy if u'd like a matte coffee brown blush though, it apply's smooth and stays put! I've also tried it as a matte bronzer and really liked it! I just prefer more shimmer as far as blush/bronzer goes now.

I've purchased blunt after MAC live chat indicated that this is best for my NC43/45 skintone for contouring. Blunt does do a great job contouring; however, I've had to practice alot applying this because it is very pigmented and it does require a great deal of blending it in. I use it with the 165 brush. The 109 picks up too much color on the brush for me.

From someone who has be a devote user of "Hoola" By Benefit for the past five years, I was DUMB stuck to find something better. This velvety smooth powder can take any puffy face and turn into a sculpted supermodel(haha). As a guy, when I'm growing scruff its great to balance it out if one area is growing more then the other. CAUTION: A LITTLE bit goes a lonnnnnnng way, NO joke! Because of this I could see this lasting for ages...HG Conture!

I LOVE BLUNT! Does anyone even use this as a blush? lol its the perfect contour color for me (I'm a nc45) but even if you're not darker skin toned, you can use it just have a light hand and blend it out. I've had this for a long time and still haven't even made a dent in it. Its perfect for contouring because it is a matte brown color.

I love this for contouring (I am an NC30). I use the MAC 109 brush to apply and blend it. It gives me the perfect contour color. You have to blend it really well or else it will look muddy.
