The mask works alright. It dries out my skin too much and so in result it makes my face even oilier. My pores seem smaller right afterward.

I love this stuff. I dont really see a difference in my skin but I love how it feels when you leave it on. I do spot treatments on my acne overnight and it always helps the redness the next morning.

Great product great price. It's a fantastic product because I love at home facials and was looking for an alternative to my more expensive natural facial products. I have a few of the queen helene face mask products and this is my favourite.

I rarely use this product because I'm too lazy to use it. But everytime I do use it, I wonder why I don't use it more often, because it's that fantastic!
All I do is tie my hair back, cleanse my face with my facial cleanser then dry my face completely. Then I apply this all over my face, avoiding the eye areas. There's a somewhat minty feeling when applied. The tube says it takes 15 minutes to dry, but it really takes anywhere from 10-20 minutes depending how much product you apply.
When it dries, it dries to a lighter shade of green and is powdery to the touch. Your facial muscles also feel much more restricted, but you can still talk and smile and such.
After it's dried completely, I just wash it off with lukewarm or warm water and pat my face dry.
The results are amazing each time: soft, glowing skin! This is the only product I've ever used that can make my skin look like it's bright and glowing yet at the same time make my skin feel like how it felt like when I was a toddler. I'm only 19, so I don't have aging skin, but this mask just made my skin look and feel that much more soft and glowing.
Also it seems to have removed/shrunken some of my tiny pimples (I have persistent minor acne), but for some reason, it only does that sometimes.
The product is somewhat difficult to get out of the squeeze tube because the product is extremely thick, but it's not like I have to wrestle it out.
Nonetheless, this is an absolutely fantastic mask that I will find myself repurchasing for years and years to come.
After all, for less than $4 for 8 whole ounces (227 grams) of product, you seriously can't go wrong.
Would I repurchase? Yes!

Pros
- smoother skin
- rids of acne
Cons
- drying
- hard to squeeze product out
Comments: I use this as a spot treatment only, since I find this way too drying despite having only skin. Got rid of blackheads temporarily as it stopped working after a while. Will continue to use for any breakouts, though.
Will repurchase.

This is a great, no frills mask to use a couple times a week. I use a light layer on freshly cleansed skin. Dries quickly and is very easy to rinse off. Leaves skin feeling clean and fresh. I live in Canada and this product does not seem to be readily available at drugstores. I found this at Sally Beauty Supply. My only gripe about this product is that it comes in a gigantic plastic jar. I would prefer it came in a tube that I could squeeze out but that's a minor issue. All in all, a great, cheap alternative if you are looking for a mask you can use occasionally to deep cleanse your skin.

I love, love, love this mask! Queen Helene has a few other masks, but this one is great for acne-prone, oily skin, or for redness and large pores. It goes on very smoothly, and has a nice minty smell. After washing your face you apply and leave on for 15 min., and you will start to feel it tightening as it dries. You remove with water, and you instantly see results. My face always looks brighter, clearer, and any redness or larger pores will be gone! This is such a great-quality product.

After originally using Freeman's Avocado & Oatmeal Clay Mask, this is a bit of a disappointment. Although I was more than satisfied with the Freeman mask, I decided to try this one after all the spectacular reviews. It had an odd consistency going on, and felt extremely drying. I understand masks are supposed to feel drying, but the dry feeling continued long after I washed the mask off. I tried to combat the dryness with my usual Cetaphil Daily Moisturizer, which normally does a great job for hydrating my skin, but it was no match for this mask. In addition, it did not make my skin any less oily then it normally was or improve blackheads/mild acne. Afterward, I experienced a minor breakout on my cheek, which I cannot 100% contribute to this product but I'm certainly not ruling it out. I have normal skin, so maybe this is the reason why this mask didn't really work for me. 3 stars for packaging, price, and quantity of product, but this fell way short in terms of effects. Do your skin a favor, buy the Freeman's mask instead, it does all of the things this product claims to do without leaving your face reminiscent of the Sahara Desert.

I have been using this mask for over 10 years, so obviously it is a winner with me. It leaves my skin refreshed, clean, and tight. I love the feeling of the mask when it dries: you can feel it shrinking your pores. Once it dries on your face, you dont have to worry about the mask getting on your clothes and etc because it really, really is dried on your face. It looks pretty cool (a mint green), too. Overall, the quality, price, and effectiveness of this mask should sell you. As a consumer that does NOT like to use just anything on her skin, I have found QHs MJM to be a fine product for both sensitive & regular skin. I will continue using it until they discontinue it!

I love this face masque. It gets deep down into the pores and afterwards my skin feels amazing and soft. The trick to this masque is to exfoliate before. I use a washcloth and a non soapy gentle cleanser before hand. I apply a very thick layer to my face while it is damp concentrating it on the T-zone area. Then let the masque dry and voila! Be sure to moisturize after wards of course. The only downfall to this product is the bottle can be hard making it difficult to get all the product out. Other than that it is a great soothing masque for oily acne prone skin.

Lives up to the hype! I use this roughly once or twice a week. Smell is minty but not strong. You have enough time to apply it before it dries. Be careful when squeezing it out though, sometimes mine flies out of the tube.
.
- For PORES, it does a great job at reducing the size of them. The appearance lasts up to 5 days then I start to notice my pores again.
.
- In terms of BREAKOUTS, it does not eliminate blemishes but does help reduce the intensity of them. When I first starting using this mask, it would noticably help prevent my breakouts. After a few months of using - I have noticed that it's not as effective anymore. I will need to switch masks.
.
- I couldn't find this product in Australia so I ordered it off iherb.com. If you're interested, here's a discount code: ZEH931. $5 off purchase ($10 for orders over $40).

This has been my go to mask for as long as i can remember. I started getting acne around 8 years old so my mother used to put this mask on my face before i took a shower. It really helped clear up my face and absorbed the excess oil. The best thing about it is the price! I have purchased some pricey face masks and this one is hands down one of the best for acne prone skin.

I heard it was good for cleaning pores. I didn't see any of that - actually, this mask is quite difficult to remove and I felt this stuck to my face so well that I had to use a facial scrub so I could be sure all of it was removed. Then I suddenly got a lot of dirty pores and broke out in small blackheads. I'm not sure if it was because there was something in it that my skin didn't tolerate or because this actually clogged my pores.
.
I wouldn't suggest people with dry or sensitive skin to use this mask. My skin felt rough after using this and it pulls quite a lot of moisture out and left my skin looking very dehydrated. I had read that some people therefore preferred to use it on blemsihes to dry them out. I tried that numerous times, but It just didn't work for me - witch hazel toner with alcohol dries out blemishes much better. Hydrogen peroxide (3 %) also works (only use locally!). Benzoyl peroxide is good. Of natural things I think turmeric (powder mixed with water) should be good against blemishes (may stain light skin yellow).
This also did nothing to reduce the redness on my face.
.
My sensitive, dry. picky skin benefits much more from acids, good quality moisturizers, gentle clenasers, good makeup removers and sunscreen to stay pretty.
.
You can buy this from iherb.com. They ship nearly all over the world and they have also lowered their cheapest shipping prize from $6 to $4. If you're a first time customer, you can use my coupon code JUZ808 and get a discount of $5 (if shopping for less than $40) or $10 (if shopping for more than $40).
.
I also want to say how the code works: if you use it, I get a small percentage of the price you paid. Yes: people earn money when you use their code. If you feel strongly negative about this, you can use iherb's own code ABC123, and only iherb will earn money from your buy.

Amazing!!!! I use this whenever my face is in real need of some help. It's refreshing feels great and overall the best mask I have ever used. I even use this for spot treatment and leave it on overnight and to my surprise some even vanish the next day or are dramatically reduced with minimal redness. Definitely my go to product when my skin needs a quick fix.

This is the only face mask I use. It smells really good. Obviously it's minty, but not the annoying minty scent that gives you a head ache. I use it about once ever 1-2 weeks. It makes my skin really smooth and tight & it dries out any pimples I have. And it's only like $2 where I buy it. I def recommend it.

I first started using this product in 2002. It is an amazing product, wish it were easier to find. I would definitely recommend others to try this product. But like most products try it out on just a patch of your skin first. And go from there.. :)

The packaging is meh. The product even more so.
On sensitive skin, the mint really hurts and aggravates. My face was red and burning. Avoid this if you have sensitive skin.
I also developed an allergy reaction to this. Not sure from what, but since then I've also switched to natural / organic skincare.

For the price this comes at (about $3 at my local Walmart) this mask is a steal. I use this twice a week, usually once over the weekend and once sometime in the middle of the week. When my skin feels especially gross because of breakouts or all the makeup I wore that day, I always feel relieved after I do the mask because my skin feels so rejuvenated and fresh. I wash my face first, put this mask on, then I tone my face and moisturize. This helps the redness in my face so much and I've noticed that my skin is less oily when I use this product. Essentially, this is my HG mask because this is the only product that tames my oil and it seems to shrink my pores too. It doesn't dry out my skin too bad (I have combination skin--oily in my t-zone and dry around my mouth area) so it's nothing a little moisturize can't fix. For people with really dry skin, however, I wouldn't recommend using it once a week instead of twice like I do.
