It was difficult to part with the $10 for this product, but it's been worth it. After realizing that the Clean and Clear sheets have oil and crap in them, I decided to get some blotting tissues that only remove oil - not deposit it. I went to the Body Shop and got the tissues with no powder in them. I kind of love them! It doesn't make my face completely matte and lifeless, but leaves it looking fresh and not shiny at all. I need a couple of them to get all the oil, but that's just because the sheets aren't adding podwer (cheating!) to my face to make it look less shiny - they're just picking up the oil. If I want to powder my face, I have powder for that. When I want the oil gone, I'll use one of the these amazing blotting tissues!

packaging is great - the delivery of a single sheet is handy and neat. but the sheet itself feels pretty useless - i'm not *that* oily but i don't feel like these sheets are helping me... i feel like i'm removing more makeup than absorbin oil. plus, i can't easily see how much oil is absorbed (unlike the johnsons' & johnsons' oil blotting sheets)
It's ok to use... not ideal.

I bought these after using the Bloom blotting tissues, which have a very light powder that I quite liked. There is WAY too much powder on these tissues, and once it's on your face it's difficult to blend it in. I'm also not a fan of the thick paper TBS has used for these, I prefer the rice paper that Bloom uses. Wouldn't repurchase.

This was my first package of blotting tissues, and after reading so many good reviews on the Clean & Clear brand, I think I'll try those next just for comparison. I purchased the Natural Powder, $11 Canadian for two packages of 65, which seems expensive. However, they seem to absorb oil quite well. I do have beef with the packaging, as once you take the cardboard package apart to check how many sheets you have remaining, it doesn't hold up well at all.

I'll definitely continue using blotting papers of some sort, but I am not 100% loyal to this brand just yet!

I have the ones with no powder on them. The price was fairly decent, 2 packs of 65 sheets for around $9CDN. For my combo skin, they don't do as good a job as either the Clean & Clear or the Quo ones though. I Clean & Clear will do my whole face, 2 Quo ones will do my whole face, and it takes 5 Body Shop ones for my whole face because they just don't soak up the oil as well. So although the price is decent, when you factor in how many more you have to use they aren't really cheaper at all. Won't purchase again.

I found that the area that I would blot with this product made that area 2 shades lighter than the rest of my face
It does get the job done though

These do the job, but nowhere nearly as good as the Johnson & Johnsons Clean and Clear oil blotting sheets! Would only purchase these in the event that I can't get the Clean and Clear ones.

These work a little better than the Tea Tree Oil Blotting tissues, but it leaves too much powder on my face and I wouldnt trust using these without a mirror.

Takes away shine, but contains too much powder IMHO, so it's is problematic for my dryish cheeks (will make cakey appereance). Better for oilier skins

Tried these over the weekend. Works great. Only one tissue needed to completely blot away shine without disturbing makeup. Plan to purchase as soon as I finish my current supply of Za blotting papers.

I'm not really sure about how I feel about these. I have the one called "Natural powder" which has a light powder on the paper, this of course, means you have to have a mirror around when you're blotting since you might end up with a white powdery nose and forehead otherwise. These do keep my face matte for a long time after blotting, but they're not as care free as I'd like my blotting papers to be.

These were given to me as a gift and I think they are great. I use the powder free sheets that come in a yellow packaging. They absorb oil and are kind to my sensitive skin. I had a friend who was using the Clean and Clear sheets and kept having acne breakouts until we read the label and found out there is mineral oil in them. She now uses these and the breakouts have stopped!

This is like the Shu Uemura oil blotting paper (the BEST) .. the difference is the price!! and it works just as well. This is a yellowy/brownish sheer rice paper (made in Japan) and it had absolutely no powder. Doesnt smear nor change your makeup and pick up all the face sebum. You have to try it to believe it.

I would have to say that these are the best blotting tissues so far out there(and I've been using these things for a long, long time). Of course, I'm always looking for something better, but these things beat out all the other brands. I use the ones with the powder, and they work so well in eliminating oil/shine, making my skin look matte/fresh, and giving me an instant layer of powder for makeup touch-up. The package is just the right size to put in your purse/pocket, plus one tissue size is enough to blot out oil per use. (Shisedo have their sheets too big, which is hard to discreetly take one out to blot face quickly, plus I can't finish one sheet at once). As for the Clean & Clear blue sheets that everyone raves about--those are horrible to me. After blotting with C & C, the paper looks soaked and disgusting-- like so much oil has been sucked out (when in actuality it's the same amount of oil as any other blotting paper), but my face really does becomes oily/shiny again MUCH MUCH more quickly. So if you're seaching between couple of products, I say go with The Body Shop! :)

I bought this a few yrs ago when I was 13, when I didn`t wear any makeup. I had very oily skin before (now it`s dry and oily) and was prone to breaking out. So as the day carried on, my face got really oily, so these blotting tissues were really good, helped to absorb the oil and delivered a layer of powder to keep it matte. So back then I would`ve given this 4 lippies, but now since I wear foundation, concealer and powder, I find using this messes up my entire face! Now I really need a mirror in front of me since the powder might not distribute evenly on my face. I also realized that these are NOT really a blotting papers! Instead they`re just portable loose powder on paper! So it`s really the powder absorbing the oil and not the paper itself! I do not recommend gals with makeup to try these because they`ll just cake up and look horrible which is why it only gets 2 lippies from me. Overall, I don`t like it anymore, but I still like the metal box that you can buy separately for it. Although the box is cute with an embossed daisy, not many other blotting papers fit into it, so i can`t re-use it :(

I should probably specify that these were bought in Australia.

"Powder Free"

At $3.50 for 65 sheets, I thought this was FANTASTIC value! I would probably use 2 per "application" depending on degree of oiliness.

Great compact size, fits into even my itsiest of handbags (even in my wallet at a push).

Great for a post lunch freshen up, doesn't interfere with my makeup at all!

Definite Makeup kit staple!

Here in holland they still sell Papier Poudre.. and I am in love! These little sheets (65) come in a small little book. Becouse they have powder on them that's not really handy so I put a little rubber band around the book and all the powder stays in the book. What cam I say? Absorbs grease easy. Leaves a little powder (sometimes a little too much.. but I just smudge it out with my finger) and is just so easy! PLUS it is very cheap. Not on sale or anything, it costs about $2.60 here.

I bought the unpowdered facial tissues. I got a really good deal; 2 packs of 130 sheets (260 in total) for $11 CAN. They're in a convenient pop-up format like a tissue box. I only wish the sheets were larger in size. They pick up oil really well though. These are definitely cheaper (and better) than the Clean and Clear blue sheets (their's are like $7 for 50 sheets, and theirs have mineral oil in them). I would definitely repurchase. I use these during lunch time for a quick touch up.

These have come a long way since I last reviewed them and said no way was I repurchasing. Now I certainly will buy them again. There are three sorts to choose from in Australia - powdered, unpowdered and unpowdered with tea tree oil for blemished skin. I prefer unpowdered blotting paper and the ones I'm reviewing are the ones with tea tree oil because they were the only type left when I went to buy some, so perhaps they're the least popular. I get the odd blemish or two or three but I don't see that these have much advantage over other blotting paper in the blemish battle and using them isn't noticeably different from using untreated papers. Anyway, they're easy to remove from the revamped and eminently more sensible packaging, they're a more generous size than the old ones, there are more papers in the pack and they're reasonably priced. A very good buy indeed.
