This doesnt give you clumps and it gives you length, but no volume. However, it starts to get clumpy after a few weeks as the formula gets clumpy.

This formula doesnt build lashes at all, its just reallly thin. doesnt do anything. maybe its good for a teen that wants a very natural subtle look. In general I dont like plastic wands. i threw this away, I couldnt even make it work with a lash primer.

This is an ok mascara. I feel like it could be great for a lot of people, but it just wasn't what I'm looking for. On the plus side, it never flaked, smudged, and always came off easily when I washed my face at night. Those qualities are non-negotiable for me, so A+ in that respect! However, what makes it not for me is that it's too natural looking, not black enough (despite having the blackest black shade), and the curved brush. I like thick lashes, and all this gave me was hardly plumped up separated lashes. The blackest black shade is more of a soft black, and that just doesn't provide enough definition on my almost black lashes. And finally, the curved brush just doesn't do it for me. I did find a way to make it work though. I use the outward part of the curve to apply mascara from root to tip, then flipped it over and used the inside curve to wiggle at the roots then pull through. That's the best application technique I found, and I used it for 3 months. All in all, definitely not horrible, and I would certainly use again in a pinch. I think it could be just the ticket for some girls though! Definitely worth a try if you're remotely interested.

i love this mascara! the packaging is okay - it's nothing special. the pricing is good, this is not an expensive mascara at all. this is a nice mascara though, it doesn't clump at all. it gives you nice volume and sometimes length. if you combine it with whatever mascara, you can get a false lashes effect. i love the brush, it's easier to apply to the bottom lashes. and i just like curved brushes, i feel like they help hold a curl. anyways, if you haven't purchased this yet, i'd recommend it!

I love this mascara. I will always have this mascara on hand. I purchased it about a month ago and I was really excited to try it. The morning after, I applied my makeup and used this mascara and was disappointed. It crushes the clumps so well, it didn't add any thickness or anything. It was just like, black mascara that wasn't volumizing, lengthening or anything. I had heard so many good things about this mascara so I didn't give up so the next day I tried a different method. I applied a different mascara first and then applied the clump crusher...OhEmGee....They were thick and long(...) but still seperated and without any clumps at all. This is what I do everyday now. And it doesn't matter what mascara you use under it. I paid about 7 dollars for the mascara at WalMart but I've seen it as high as 9 dollars at WalGreens so definitely try to get to Walmart. I will continue to use this for as long as they make this mascara. I love it. Absolute perfection. Desireesbeautyblog.Blogspot.com

I was on my 2nd thing of this and I thought it was alright. I got it in brownish black or something like that and I really liked it at first!! But after about a month or so, not a lot would go on my lashes. I figured out that using the top of the round part makes A LOT of clumps so I flipped it to the scoop part and it was okay after that. Sometimes my lashes would go everywhere. There doesn't seem to be a lot of control and it didn't hold a curl very well. I then tried the mayballine the rocket volume express and it's all that I wanted!! If you are going for a Volumous but natural look, this is the mascara for you!! But if you want more big and dramatic lashes I recommend trying something else.

I actually quite enjoyed using this mascara (a great surprise since I got it on sale). Although it wasn't AMAZING, it was still good for everyday wear at school. The curved brush worked well for me &it made it easier for me to put the product on my lower lashes. This lengthened my lashes but didn't volumize (keep in mind I have "asian lashes") &also, I found that it would make my lashes fall back down a bit instantly after initial application even though I did curl them before. It also didn't flake or clump, although it did smudge a tinyyy bit by the end of the day.

I would buy this product again if I can't find something better by the next time I see it discounted &I need a new mascara.

I bought this on Amazon hopeful for a mascara that would not clump or flake; basically what most of the reviews have said.
I bought it in Brownish Black, and the first thing I thought I would like about it was the curved brush. I hate it! Its so hard to wiggle near your roots to get the full effect, and to get on your lower lashes. It clumped and flaked like any other mascara, and they formula was extremely dry and crummy. I was so upset because I was really looking forward to a good mascara for my sensitive lashes, and it also made them fall out! I am willing to try this again, hoping that the one I purchased was just a bad one.

at first, I tought this was going to be my new HG mascara and after one week, I realized that I shouldnt even bought it! This mascara does wonders for my lashes. The brush is perfect. But the formula! After 4 hours, there's no mascara left on my lashes!! Plus, I bought the waterproof version and this is not waterproof at all! It smudges with a tiny bit of water it is horrible! I use sometimes this mascara after a day with my maybelline one to give a little " humpf " because it does not clump bue thats it. I will def not repurchase it and I do not recommend it.

Wow. No clumps, volumizes, good amount of length, but doesent make my long lower lashes look like spider legs. Nuff said. Amazing everyday mascara which is very build able and easy to get off.

I was pleased with this mascara. Now.. the reason i say 'pleased' and not 'blown away' is because i honestly thought this was an average mascara. For me it didn't hold a curl, didn't volumize much. However it did lengthen my lashes and i love the curved brush. The vibrant green color of the tube is very unique and pretty awesome i must admit. Overall i would not repurchase.

Looking past the ridiculous name...which even my husband made fun of and he normally could care less about what products I buy, it's a great mascara. Lash Blast has been my go to for about a year, and I still love that mascara too but this one does seem to separate my lashes and makes them look fuller and longer. Normally I have issues with mascaras (even some of the high end brands) either flaking and smudging or transferring and I have not had these issues with this product. I like the brush and it removes easily with my go to cleanser, Dove soap. Highly recommended drug store mascara!

This was ok... I felt like it was kind of clumpy actually. The package broke fast but it's a pretty good drugstore mascara anyways :)

Okay, I was really reluctant to buy this because normally for me, drugstore mascaras that have 'great' ratings never work out for me. I also happen to be a bit of a makeup snob...but I was SO wrong!

Clump Crusher is amazing, and even better for how CHEAP it is and can look so good. I think I paid ~$6 for it and I buy black-brown mascaras. It doesnt run, its not flaky, and lasts all day - and this is non-waterproof!

For me (with more almond shaped eyes) it gives me the perfect amount of volume and length without making me look tired or cakey. It spreads out your lashes really well! I also have pretty sensitive eyes and Clump Crusher doesnt bother me at all.

It comes in the same big plastic tube like the volume/length lashblast but in lime green. Not my preferred packaging but honestly I dont really care about that part - but since a portion of my review adds in packaging quality I added in my opinion. I dont think the packaging should matter when youre getting a GREAT drugstore mascara for so cheap.

So even if youre NOT a fan of Covergirl's Lashblast mascaras - you might still like this one! The results are totally different!

I actually like this! It doesn’t smudge or flake, which are my main concerns. It’s true to its name and also doesn’t clump, although I haven’t encountered this problem with most mascaras. Like others, I start with a few layers using the long bristles, then flip the brush and build up to a more dramatic look using the shorter bristles. I like the small, rubber brush because it helps me control the wand and coat more lashes. I got completely sick of and disillusioned with the Lash Blast Fusion, which was smudging and too runny of a formula. I’m glad I found this instead, as it’s a cheap alternative. The bulky plastic lime green packaging is atrocious—not really sure what’s going on there, but I’ll take it.

I'll admit, the bright green tube caught my eye. But I was running low on mascara and figured I'd try something new. I've pretty well ALWAYS used Maybelline's Great Lash... like always! Since I started wearing makeup. It's cheap and works well. I started using Maybelline's Colossal Volume Express awhile back and I've stuck with it since.

I don't think I've ever worn any Cover Girl brand makeup. But this stuff is pretty awesome. I love the brush! It really works to separate lashes and prevent clumping. It's particularly good for getting the corners and bottom lashes. And as someone else posted on this board, it doesn't apply too much mascara at once so your lashes don't look over exaggerated or unnatural.

The price is definitely right too. I paid around $9.00. And I'll definitely purchase this again in the future.

I like mascaras to make my lashes look like much-improved versions of themselves, but still within the realm of possibly being natural - I don't want lashes that look like they are completely fake, in other words. This mascara gives me that - my lashes are longer, separated, and maybe a little thicker but not a ton. It's really easy to apply and gives a minimum of clumps; plus, it doesn't take a lot of work to get good results. I wear this during the day at work, for a nice, natural look.

I thought this was overrated. Not that it was terrible, but I definitely have tried better mascaras. When you use it, it doesn't feel like much - the brush is plasticy and not a lot of mascara comes out on the wand so I feel the need to rub it on the side of the tube to get more out. When you pull it through your lashes it doesn't feel like it's depositing a lot on them - but then again I guess that's why it's called clump crusher, because it doesn't just dump a ton of mascara on your lashes and make them clumpy. This mascara doesn't separate your lashes well, though. Not all of my lashes stay separate when I use this. The finished look is okay, but I've had others that were better at separating and lengthening.

Finally cover girl gets my money again, it has been years since I purchased a cg mascara. Lash blast didnt have a big impact on my lashes but OMG this one is great, it doesnt get all junky and it leaves my lashes so long and nicely curled and I dont need to spend a long time with it, I love it......

I was pleasantly surprised by this mascara. To be honest... I dont care too much for Cover Girl anymore, because i feel like a lot of their makeup is geared towards a teenagers look (IMO)... I like to layer my mascara as I have many favorites and they all do different things. I use clump crusher at the very end of my mascara 'cocktail' and it works really well. I have about 25 mascaras that I use depending upon my mood and the look that i am trying to achieve... I usually use one to lengthen and two others for volume... and by the end, no matter how good the mascara, you will have clumps just from all the layers. I will make sure my coats of mascara are totally dry and then run the clump crusher wand through my lashes until the clumps are gone. The brush is magic, and does an awesome job at making my lashes look real and really finishing the look that i want. Also, i love that the wand doesnt really have long bristles, its more of a comb- and this insures that it will remove any clumps without changing my desired look that the previous layers have created. The mascara comes in a thick bottle- which is lime green... i love this because it stands out in my sea of mascara bottles. I can say this is true for all oof Cover Girls mascara... they all look different; they are all cute, funky, hip colors and no one bottle looks the same as any of the others. I cant say for sure that this has turned me back to Cover Girl, but I am more willing to try more of their products because of the sucess I had with Clump Crusher AND their prices are pretty fair compared to all pharmacy and professional makeup. I hope you have sucess with this one... If you layer mascaras like I do, give this a go. Well worth the $7 or $8 that I spent! <3
