I'm on the fence. These babies definitely last. But, they are very tacky on the lips and look and feel quite dry. Also, the colour "Front Row" is way too light even for my pale skin, so I'm going to try to exchange it for a different shade.

Although the color is lovely (Flashing Lights) and the packaging is functional, I can´t get over the fact that after 30 mins of wear, I feel my lips getting tight, dry and sticky. Some reviewers say to use a gloss on top, but then what´s the point of the "suede" texture? The color does last a while, and you´ll need makeup remover to take it off.

That thing has staying power! I tried to remove it last time and couldn't so I went to bed with it...
The colors are fresh and pretty (mine is muse) and for the first hour or so, the lipstick looks beautiful and smooth. Then, like all long lasting lipstick, you have to either re-apply, or live with a somewhat faded lipstick that is still mainly visible on the outer corner of your lips. I re-applied, and this is why at the end of the day it was so hard to remove.
I prefer the Revlon lip butter, it is more beautiful and even if it doesn't last very long, you can re-apply without fear hahaha

I dont get all the negative reviews. This product deserves higher rating. Its not THAT drying ok. I live in central canada and its cold and dry as hell here. And i have dry lips too. i own 6 shades of this lipstick. I feels a little tacky but not like super sticky (try the revlon liquid lipstick, now thats sticky). But after like an hour, it feels really fine on your lips. I didnt experience flaking or tackiness. Yes you will feel like you have something on your lips but its a comfortable feeling. If ur lips are too dry, i recommend putting Burts bee lip balm before applying the lipstick. Dont use shea butter or petrolatum base lip balm cuz then its not as long lasting. At least its a little tip i discover that works for me whenver my lips are really dry and i want to use this lipstick. Good luck.

This is a dry formula, but it wont dry your lips, I usually apply lipstick once and then reapply balm later cause my lips get dry, so having this lipstick on my lips is better than nothing and will give me color through out the day, but I have only tried nude colors, YOU HAVE TO APPLY GLOSS OR BALM OVER IT. So far it worked for me, and I like the colors, I got Runway (golden brownish nude perfect for summer) and Private viewing (nude). I recommend trying nude colors if you're trying it for the first time.

I like the packaging and colors. I bought 065catwalk. Its a brownish almost sahara-ish shade. It glides smoothly when you apply and dries to a matte finish. The color really stays but when it fades(about 4 hrs for me) you have to wipe it all off and reapply because your lips will look weird.. like you only applied lipliner and forgot to use lipstick :-P overall its an ok lipstick but i probably wouldnt repurchase

I have to disagree with many of the reviews here on this product. I have it in Silhouette, which is a lovely shade of rosey pink. It applies very smoothly and feels like a "normal" lipstick until it dries to a smooth, matte finish. Anyone who has ever used long wearing lipsticks knows that the texture always dries matte, not creamy or balmy. That's why many of them come with balms included! I do not like this as much as the Revlon Colorstay Liquid Lipstick, but what I do like about it is that it is a bit sheer and build-able. I use it with a lipliner and the color blends nicely - I actually think that lipliner is crucial with the long wearing lipsticks in order to prevent feathering and bleeding while the product dries.
A couple of pointers about this product: it dries fairly slowly. I think it takes around 5 minutes to be completely "set". It is slightly sheer and not as intense as some other long wears in terms of pigment, but it is build-able so feel free to run it over your lips a few times for more saturated color. It is dry once it sets so carry a gloss or balm if you prefer that kind of texture and you can layer over it. Remember, though, that oil and wax based products will break down the pigments and greatly impact the length of wear. In other words, if you slick waxy or glossy balm on top of this, expect it to rub off on your napkin.
This is a great product if the expectations match what it is intended to be: a suede, matte, long wearing lipcolor.

This is the worst lipstick I've ever tried. It doesn't last like you'd think, within 15 minutes it's faded and dried into a cracked flaky crust around my lip line. I've tried chapstick under and over it, nothing helps. Apparently it's a lot like the color stay lip gloss which I have not tried but it gets similarly bad reviews.

I was hesitant to try this after reading the reviews on here but something about the product appealed to me regardless. I actually quite like it and don't find that I have the issues mentioned here. I do wear it with a coat of vaseline on top though..just something I prefer with lipstick...and maybe that fixes some problems. I've had it on for twelve hours and in that time I've only reapplied it once and the color is still quite visible. In that time I've eaten two meals, drank coffee, water and iced tea and spent time out in the rain. I might use another brand if I wanted an ultra bold pigmented shade but I bought "Flashing Lights" and it's a good day to day shade for me. I will purchase another everyday color for sure.

These were violently awful. I purchased couture and high heels. i thought the couture was a true red but out of the store i realized it was a strange berry color. the high heels was a bright pink like bubblegum. they felt awful. my lips stuck together. the color payoff was streaky and clumpy. i returned them. i NEVER return cosmedics. very dssapointed.

I don't know what the other reviewers are talking about. This lipstick is fantastic! I wear the Private Showing shade and it is the best nude lipstick shade i've ever tried. The staying power is the best as well. 8 hours it stays on. Put it on in the morning and at 7 PM i still have most of it on. It is NOT drying at all and it's matte with just a hint of glimmer. Perfect lipstick. Packaging perfect the shade on the tube is the exact shade you will have on your lips. Again, i'm very impressed and this is my new all day every day lipstick! Whoever doesn't like this has issues. LOL. :) Buy it and love it!

About me: NW10-15 (neutral-cool toned, very fair), blue eyes, Color season is True Summer, Baumann Skin Type is OSPW.
I purchased this product in "Muse." I had originally tried this formula in a sheer nude color, but it was way too frosty and I exchanged it for this one, a bright blue toned pink with a bit of luminosity to it. After I layered the color up a few times, it looked very similar to the MoonDrops Lilac Champagne. Ultimately, this is a very unflattering color on me. However, the formula in this shade was infinitely better than the other shade I tried. I wouldn't call it drying or moisturizing, it seemed to adhere to the lips very well without becoming sticky. I liked how it looked on me much better when I used a lip brush to apply it in multiple thin layers. These do seem to be fairly long lasting to wear when applied that way.
I would have liked to try more of these, but it seems very hit or miss with the shades.
EDIT: Also purchased "Socialite," which appeared to be a medium MLBB nude pink. The color changed so much on my lips, after 10 minutes it looked like I had "drank the Kool-Aid" so to speak. Yikes!

I got this lipstick in private viewing, wich is a verry pale shiny beige. It goes well on the application,it stays on fairly long, the texture is thin, but paired with a beige shiny lip gloss,it goes smoothly and nice! it helps to keep the lip gloss on longer! Love it!

Well, this lipstick is a bust. It goes on smoothly and moisturizes your lips ... at first. As it dries, it turns as tacky as a fly catcher strip. I only recommend this if you want to catch bugs on your lips. Frogs are obviously the customers Revlon was aiming for.

Not a whole lotta love with these, I noticed. I only bought one, Couture, a nice looking berry pink at Wal-Mart when they first came out. On my rosy pigmented lips, it looked like a sheer red. Brightened up my face and my teeth looked whiter. Goes on nice and silky, even creamy. My first time with this last month when I bought it, after a couple of minutes, it felt like I put on a heavy-weighted wax on my lips and turned tacky. The color didn't change or migrated but I did put one of Revlon's Lip Butters (Berry Smoothie) on top as a balm and it worked for me. I noticed after the lip butter wore off, the lipstick left behind a stain which I wasn't expecting! I would like to buy a couple more, but only on sale 'cause these are pretty expensive. I also did not experience any dry lips with this either and pretty much left my lips moisturized.

It hurts me to say this, because I love Revlon lip products, but this was a loser for me. I bought it because it was a BOGO at my drugstore and I'd heard some good things about it. I bought the shade Iconic, which is a really pretty berry-ish color, and a coral color. This product really does go on with a velvet-like consistency. It's very smooth and comfortable. After about half an hour, though, it seems to get very patchy and dry on my lips. I tried applying a lip blam beforehand, and I got the same results. The color is nice and buildable, but the intensity fades quickly. The darker shade sort of stained my lips, but not evenly. If you have time to re-apply this once and hour, give it a try. If not, save your money for the 3-trillion other lip products out there that are way, way better than this one.

Horrific. Very drying. I'm a sucker for a semi-matte lip and I took a chance on two of these, then misplaced the receipt. Very disappointing, as other items in the Colorstay line (including the gloss) have been winners.

Absolutely hate this product. I purchased 2 because the advertisement was so convincing. Although the colors looked lovely in the tube, there was barely any color deposited on my lips. What color did appear went on very unevenly and felt tight and dry. There was no shine, no creamy look or feel...what a disappointment and a waste of money. At least I bought it as a BOGO 50% off. Still, yuck.

If you don't mind that suffocating feel of permanent paint on your lips, buy this.
Maybe all rub proof lipsticks perform like this, but I refuse to live a life imprisoned by terrible lip paint that can't get off. I will not. Who's with me?
Disclaimer: I have not tried another rub free lip stick so I cannot really compare. So my review might be useless if you likr this sort of lipstick.

Meh - I wear only long-wearing products on my face and I have tried countless long-wearing lippies. This one is OK. I do have to put a balm or one of my topcoats from my other lip products (Maybelline 24 hour or CG Outlast). Color lasts thru lunch, but have to re-apply thereafter = not long wearing enough for me...= I won't repurchase.
