First tried this when the sephora skin color analyzer recommended beige as a match to my skin color. Perhaps the reason this has been AMAZING for me is that it is such a great match to my skin color which does not lean toward yellow or pink. But it's also the formula. My skin is very dry and it's hard to find a foundation that does not dry it out. But this one does not. I think it has actually improved the condition of my skin and goes on so silky and makes my skin look amazing yet still so natural. I do kind of want to cry every time I buy it because it's so expensive but I would buy the cheapest drug store makeup or no new makeup at all to justify the splurge on this. For me it is liquid gold.

Ladies and gentlemen I have found my HG foundation.
I'm the type of girl who, despite finding a good product, usually decide to continue my search for something better. However with this foundation, I ACTUALLY PURCHASED IT AGAIN. 3 TIMES. I even splashed out on the matching primer (totally worth it by the way as it has made this foundation even BETTER).

-Packaging. Beautiful, expensive looking and feeling, and comes with a pump which gives you control over how much you use. I usually use 1.5-2 pumps for every day look and maybe 3 for heavy night out makeup. The glass bottle and gold lid is just so pretty. I can't even deal.

-Product. Feels like I'm not even wearing anything on my face; goes on smoothly (especially with the matching primer). It has a fragrance which is slightly floral I guess, personally I don't mind this at all but some people might. This is definately a dewy foundation and works for my skin type which is anything from dry in the winter, to normal and slightly oily at other times.

-Lasting power. Before I bought the primer this would last me well from about 8am to around 2pm, after which it would start to wear off and would need touching up if I were to go out after work. A spray of MAC Fix + did help to revive it at these times. HOWEVER after buying the primer I swear to GOD this foundation looks THE SAME as it did at 8am (flawless) as it does now at 4pm (I did spray my face with MAC Fix + before I left the house). I''m sure it'll go on to look great for hours as well as it still looks super fresh.

- Price. Yes it is the most expensive foundation I have ever bought at £32... but it is so worth it. The compliments I get on my skin keep coming in, and with each bottle lasting me around 4 months (that's with every day use), that is £32 well spent. The primer that goes with this is also well worth the buy, again quite pricey at the same price as the foundation itself but let me tell you, my skin looks amazing right now!

1000% will buy again!!

this is a beautiful foundation!i tried a sample before buying it at the store and i must say it gives a beautiful finish!if you have breakouts i recommend using a concealer since this product is kind of sheer...i use a finishing spray after i put this on and it stays on all night!

Finally, this is my favorite foundation!! I have been searching my HG foundation for a while. This one is dewy, with a natural glow. I would recommend it if you have a good skin. The coverage is moderate. I like to use this foundation a lot whenever I felt that the weather is not humid

I have been searching for an everyday foundation for awhile. Something that feels light on the skin, buildable coverage for those days my skin is rioting, one that looked like skin. I found this and more with this foundation. My mom had been raving about the foundation but unfortunately I couldn't get a shade match. A few months later she took me to her favorite YSL counter, I tried it again in my shade and promptly fell in love. I have dry skin and many foundations feel heavy & dry but not this beauty. It goes on looking like it'll be too light ( I wear B70 beige) but it glides on and a minute later is perfect. The only downside is I get flashback in pics so I'll need a different foundation for photos but that's not a huge deal for me also wish the undertone on this was a touch warmer as I find it leans neutral on my warm skin. Otherwise I love this & highly recommend you try a sample

Beautiful finish, a very dewy-velvety glow that sets quite nicely. Coverage is decent, sheer but buildable. I would prefer it without fragance, even if it's pleasant. Staying power is okay, it won't last all day or night, that's for sure. The most accurate thing I can say about this foundation is that it is expensive and looks expensive. It's one of my favorites.

I have oily combo skin so I hope this helps my fellow oiler ladies!
I have this is shade B40 and BD50. The latter is better for my olive NC30/35 skin. The B40 is good in winter but it still is not the right undertone so I try to mix it so it doesn't go to waste.
I like to use a flat top kabuki to apply. On a good skin day, one pump is enough. The packaging is beautiful but easy to drop so be careful.
Coverage is medium to buildable almost full. The finish is like air brushed skin. Healthy looking flawless skin. Soft focus affect almost. Doesn't settle into my fine lines on forehead and smoothes over my relatively "big" pores on my nose.
Finish is absolutely gorgeous at the beginning. Just perfect and so blend able. But if I don't use a primer and loosely set it, then I'm an oily mess within 2 hours. Not the foundations fault, just my oily skin.
So I make sure moisturizer has sunk in. Then use hourglass mineral primer. After the foundation I ever so sightly set with a loose powder. Not too much otherwise I lose the effect the foundation gives (I don't like Powdery look)
Bit of an effort for oily girls but my second bottle and will repurchase.

I was on the hunt for a foundation that was lightweight yet covered my blemishes and redness.
I have to say, this does the job!

PROS:
- Lightweight coverage
- Dewy Finish
- Doesn't react with my sensitive skin
- Doesn't dry out my skin
- Blends in seamlessly with a flat brush and beauty blender

CONS:
- Wears off very quick
- Need a few layers for good coverage
- Does get a little patchy sometimes

This is my go to foundation for everyday, you can also build it up for evening looks. It gives a flawless, dewy look to the skin.

I have repurchased this product. The beige dore line works fairly well for me though I wish the color was a tiny bit yellower than it is. What I like is lasting medium-to-full layerable coverage. It gives me a polished make-up look. It stays on all day and has a subtle luminosity and has decent sunscreen coverage. What I don't like is that I do feel it on my face so it is a bit on the heavy side for me; also I do get some T zone oiliness later on in the day. I wish the color selection was better.
