This shadow is one of my HG colors. This shadow is almost identical to Chanel's Ombre e/s in '24 Air'. The only real difference I can see is the price tag (EL $20 Chanel $40). The Berry Ice blends just as well on my eye lids and has the same gold glimmer effect. Works perfectly on my skin tone. I use it the same way as Chai's review below. I pair with the PC Tea Rose and PC Champagne Bubble or any lighter neutral. If this color goes with your skin tone it is so very versitile. I highly recommend. Actually any of the EL Pure Color shadows I have purchased (I have around 10) have worked great. They don't crease with average wear and they look smokey and very intense.

I got this in a GWP. Berry Ice is a somewhat sheer burgundy with gold shimmer. Used dry, it is good for smokey eyes. It can also be used wet as a non-traditional coloured eyeliner. I have to be careful with this colour because if I use too much, it makes my eyes look red and tired.

I like this one. Good staying power, it doesn't crease or smear and it has this light wonderful shimmer.... my eyes look beautiful after appying this! I mostly use it as the darker tone to make my eyes look wider and bigger, but it also looks good as some sort of standalone (or maybe in connection with an even darker color blending out).

I got this in a GWP Pure Color shadow duo. In the package it is a very deep shimmery berry, but I found that it really lacked pigment when applied. It took several layers to make it show up on me, and I am a PPP! However, the shadow did have a great smooth texture and was easy to blend. I don't think I will be purchasing the full size of this one.

Berry Ice is a shimmery red berry shade. I found this a tad too red to line with, not deep/dark enough, and i looked sick. Made a nice crease color though. Lasted all day and kinda in the middle in terms of amount of pigment. Love the container but they are rather expensive.

So pretty! This is my favorite shade in the Pure Colour collection - a deep plum with a hint of coppery brown that makes it a perfect liner or crease shade. I love to pair this with Tea Box (or any neutral rose colour) and line my lower lids with a plum liner. This creates a dramatic eye that's easy to wear even during the day.

Berry Ice just didn't suit me, no matter how much I tried to get it to work for me. I used it only in the crease of my eyelid, because it's a plummy color and any pinks/plums on me make me look like I got punched in the eye ;) It has a shimmer to it though, which is really pretty. I also found that it applies sheerer and lighter than it does in the pot. But if you build it up with another layer, the color will deepen.

I think Lauder's shadows have some of the best pigment out there. Berry Ice is a smooth rich berry plum frost. Its so beautiful paired with Tea Box shadow, a pinkish beige.
