Overall, this is a amazing mascara it makes my lashes go so big and so plush and that's amazing cause my lashes are tiny! But this clumps and flakes way to much. I would buy again, minus the flaking

Had a terrible reaction to this mascara and have used Maybelline products for years. Made my eyes red, swollen and itchy.
Age: 36-43 Skin: Acne-prone, Medium Hair: Blond Eyes: Blue
Love the color of the mascara. I have to admit that is why i bought it at first.
This is a good inexpensive mascara that plumps and volumizes lashes to the fullest.
I use apply this for my day look and it is not too overpowering. Will buy again.

I love love love this mascara. I've been using full n soft for years but lately have been going back and forth between Benefit they're real and Cover Girl lashblast. I wanted something that would give me the office-appropriate softness of the full n soft, but with more length and wow factor. I was about to bite the bullet and get another tube of the Benefit, when someone gave me this. It's fantastic. One coat and my lashes are long and amazing without looking fake or spidery. They're soft all day and it's one of the easiest mascaras to put on that I've tried, once you get used to the flexible brush.

This is a great mascara. I used to work at Sephora for many years and have tried dozens of high end mascaras. You name it, I have tried it. Maybelline really hit the nail on the head with The Mega Plush, I actually prefer it over Diorshow, Benefit, MUFE, etc.
The brush is quite unique, the texture of the bristles isn't too soft or hard, so it really grips the lashes. The brush also bends slightly when pushed on, to prevent you from "caking" on the mascara. This allows you to apply the perfect amount of product to your lashes, to keep them soft and separated. It takes a little bit of getting used to, but the results are stunning. The formula is very fluid and wet, which gives a nice even coverage of the product to the lashes. I find wet formulas a lot easier to work with, as they give you a good coat at the get-go. I found the formula didn't clump up at all, it just stayed nice and fluid, keeping the lashes smooth. I think the formula is really the star of this mascara, its not thick nor dry, its almost gel like which really keeps your lashes smooth yet dramatic. After application, my lashes are super long, separated like falsies, and voluminous. *I did try the waterproof formula while on vacation, which had a much dryer formula, the regular formula is definitely much better.
I typically have to replace the tube every month or two, which kind of sucks, but the price point is fantastic so I don't mind. All in all, this mascara blows most high end mascaras out of the water. I think a lot people give it a low rating because of the "wet" formula, plus the brush takes some getting used to. The result though is a beautiful false lash effect, so I won't be picking up another mascara for a looong time.

I can't believe this has such a low rating! This is my favourite mascara of all time, but I prefer thick mascara. Love the wand, but it could be longer, and the formula dries up faster than some other mascaras, but this seems to be a constant feature with Maybelline mascaras. The wand is the best thing about this product. But it is the best mascara I've tried, and I personally don't like anything else by Maybelline thus far, so this is pretty high praise. I wouldn't use anything else now I'e used this, unless I could find a dupe with a better formula. It is annoying having to buy more than more at a time, as they only last about 3 months or less (because of drying out for no apparent reason) and none of the drugstores in NZ sell them so I have to buy them online.

I really like this now that I've had if for a little while. I can really tell the difference in the gel mousse formula from other mascaras. It does have a gel-like feel. It holds a curl well, lengths, adds volume and separates nicely. It's also buildable. You can achieve natural or dramatic lashes. I still liked it when I first got it, but the formula was too wet to tell that it was gel mousse, it just seemed like any other mascara and it didn't hold a curl as well. It doesn't smudge or flake. And I like the brush. The flexibility helps to create a more feathery look.

This, to me, is the big sister of Great Lash. The formula is too wet and the result is disappointing. While it does give a little bit more length and volume for me than Great Lash, it really is not worth the money (even at a drugstore price). I also hate the brush - I could not get it to latch onto my lashes.

I bought this in waterproof by mistake and I really like it. The wand is large and fluffy, which I really like, and it gives me a really natural look. It adds a decent amount of length, but what I really love about it is that it holds a curl well (which I've had trouble with in the past), it doesn't smudge (probably because it's waterproof), and I can add many layers without worrying about clumping! Overall, I'm pretty happy with this product. It's not HG, but it's decent and it makes my lashes look quite nice.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Oily, Fair, Warm Hair: Brunette Eyes: Green
Its a nice mascara, the wand feels delicate hard to apply the mascara with a heavy hand almost flimsy. Its gives me the look I like which is natural and separates my lashes. If your looking for big lashes with coats and coats of mascara then this might not be for you.

I was so excited to try this mascara. I'm so sad that I ended up not liking this one at all. The brush was really big and fluffy but it was too flimsy. The tip of the wand bends and I found that to be very annoying. I didn't feel like this mascara lived up to what it advertised. I didn't like it :( I'll be sticking to my Falsies.

It is on the wet side which doesn't bother me, but hate the wand (as a prior review mentioned-the flex feature of the wand) & the formula is so-so. I will use a different wand & not purchase this particular Maybelline mascara again. Maybelline makes some of the best drugstore mascaras. Wish this had a different wand! (I purchased the regular, not waterproof formula, I never use waterproof mascaras) And I got it in the very black)

Gives nice soft defined full lashes. washes off easily. Cheap. The formula is on the wet side but it gets better after using it a few times
Edit: the mascara went rancid fast for some reason and smelled off so I tossed it.

My mom handed down this mascara to me after using it one time and hating it, I didn't really understand why she would hate it so much (she's generally picky) so I decided to take it from her anyway. Her complain was that here eyelashes were falling off when she tried taking it off. Still, I took it. As soon as I used it the product was super flaky it went on really dry and had to apply at least 4 coats to get SOMETHING out of it. I felt like I had a piece of trash in both my eyes the whole entire day. I will never buy this product again, my eyes felt irritated and I still can't get the residue off since yesterday even after washing my face 3 times with face wash and showering. Horrible product.

I've only used the Mega Plush (Waterproof) for about 4 days so far. I'm all about the natural look when it comes to mascara because my lashes are already long and full. I love Maybelline mascaras like the Great Lash and the One By One, but I hate the Colossal or the Falsies because they just deposit too much product and my lashes look spidery and so fake. The Great Lash gives me the best natural lashes while the One By One gives me nice full lashes. I think the Mega Plush is kind of in between the two. So far, it gives me a fairly natural look that I really like. It's also the only mascara I use on my lower lashes. It doesn't smudge and my lashes don't look clumpy or overly black. I like the gel formula. Not a huge fan of the bending brush but it's easy to deal with. I'm not sure if I'll repurchase yet because I really like the One By One and want to buy that one again. Not sure if the Mega Plush is worth it when I have my other two favourites, but I still like it very much nonetheless and I don't regret buying it. This stuff does not flake or budge (the waterproof version, anyway). Very good!

I love this mascara. I'm all about the natural look. My eye lashes are long and stick straight. I find this mascara to be perfect in holding my curl and keeping my lashes looking natural. Love love love :)

Product: It gave me lots and lots of volume, but not enough length to match it so I looked like i had spider lashes ahaha...it wasn't very flattering. Throughout the day it also started to flake and smear, and the little flakies kept getting in my eye, which was amazingly uncomfortable. With 1 coat, my lashes looked really feathery and a bit more black, with 2 coats, the clumping galore started and from then onwards, it went downhill...dum dum DUMMMMMM
Packaging: I love the colours on the packaging, I think its so cute ! It's very typical maybelline volumn express with the bright colours and slightly fatter tube. However, I didn't like the brush, actually I HATED the brush. It would get stuck in the base of the lashes and then fly off my lashes because im trying hard to get the brush through =.=; Yeah it was pretty difficult to get it evenly applied.
Overall: It's decent, jk, No I don't like this mascara. Maybe if i wanted a natural lash look, but thats rarely, wait no, it doesnt happen ! Just knowing that I'm wearing this mascara and the chances that it might flake into my eyeball horrifys me (contact lens user).

The only thing I loved about this product was the packaging. Maybelline really downgraded with this stuff. It's VERY clumpy and doesn't really give much length- it also flaked alot. Im sticking to the rocket and one by one.

For me, this product wasn't as good as it seemed. This product smeared a lot on my oily skin and I had raccoon eyes. The mascara also made beads on my lashes instead of the nice, smooth application you usually get with other products. The only thing i liked about this product was how it seperated my lashes but overall, I was very upset

I felt like this mascara burned my eyes! The finished look (about 3 coats) is absolutely perfect! It thicken, added length, and curled my eye lashes. But, at the day, there was black under my eyes! No flakes, just severe smudging. I wouldn't repurchase this mascara
