I have to agree with the other reviews from people who err towards having oily skin. I have combination skin, and used this foundation after moisturising, with a pore minimising primer (Benefit's Porefessional) and finished with some mattifying powder. I wore glasses for about 20 minutes today and afterwards, when I looked in the mirror I noticed that the foundation had rubbed away from where my glasses sit and created really unsightly streaks on my nose (by about noon). It made me really conscious of ever touching my face throughout the day and just made me skin look and feel incredibly oily.

I'm going to give it more of a chance because it's currently the only foundation I have that matches my skin tone (just stopped using fake tan!) and I don't want to waste £14. I guess it might get better if I am more obsessive about reapplying powder during the day. Hopefully!

I used this with the matching primer. The primer was okay, it made my skin feel soft and almost powdery, looks nice but it didn't do anything for any of my larger pores. There is a good colour range, something for everyone I'd say. It has a medium consistency, and a little goes a long way providing medium coverage. Once applied my skin looked fresh and radiant, but it only lasted a couple of hours before it was all but gone and my skin went very oily. I also broke out a little. The foundation sat on my larger pores making them more visible, while other areas were left almost bare and oily. I do have oilier skin in the summer with some small dry patches, and combination also with the dry patches in cooler months. The colour I used was almost perfect, just a tad too light but only noticeable to me lol. I used N3 Pure Linen (for reference MAC nc20 - 25, Clarins Skin Illusion 108 Sand, and Clinique Superbalanced Makeup 03 Ivory). I'm going to try this in winter when my skin is behaving, but I don't think it will do much better. I don't recommend this for oilier skin types and unless it works well in winter I'm not going to repurchase. A shame really - still trying to find a replacement for my beloved Clinique Superfit.

This is the first 'luminous' liquid foundation I have used and will continue to use, particularly in the winter and under eye. It produces a glowy and dewy finish with medium coverage, works well on red areas (but not very red areas), gives medium coverage on freckles and produces a generally even skin tone appearance. The staying power outside of my t-zone is very good but like others have said if you have oily skin it does not stay put or help minimise the sheen esp. in the warmer months.

The best part about this foundation is the pump. The foundation itself is not my favorite. It tends to settle in creases by my eyes and doesn't blend very well. The makeup claims to improve your skin over time but it just broke me out in the t zone and looks cakey on my cheeks. The price was a bit much for a drugstore foundation at $14 and was definitely not worth it.

I bought this because I was looking for a nice, natural-looking, dewy foundation. My friend has it and she quite likes it so one time she offered me to try it on just to see how it feels on my skin. I didn't try it on my face because the color she used was a little dark for me so I just swatched it on the back of my hand. It felt really nice, it blended like a dream and when dried it really looked luminous.
I did some research before buying it because I don't like to buy make-up, especially foundations, that could break me out. Some sites said that the Lumi Magique was non-comedogenic but some people said it broke them out.
In the end I decided to trust the web-sites that stated it was non-comedogenic and I bought it remembering how it felt and how much I liked it when I swatched it.
The first time I applied it I was instantly disappointed. On my face it didn't look luminous at all; the skin on my face looked really powdery and matte. Still, I didn't hate it and decided I would still wear it. But the thing is, after a few hours I looked in the mirror and my face looked like a hot mess! The foundation disappeared in some areas an in others it looked orange and kinda heavy.
I have normal to dry skin but this foundation made me look oily and when I took the foundation off I noticed a few blemishes! So it isn't really non-comedogenic.
AND it transfers really, really easily on clothes!

In winter I'm dead pale and have dry skin. I want something to brighten up my complexion so I don't look quite so flat and dead, which is why I bought this; to get that dewy finish/glow other reviewers have mentioned. I don't notice dew or a glow lol It's not even that moisturizing. It's just a lightweight foundation that isn't bad but also isn't anything special, esp. for the price. I'll use it up because in this economy I can't throw money away, but I won't be repurchasing.

I was using L'Oreal Infallible foundation for years, and noticed that my skin was getting quite oily during the day and that the foundation was really accentuating any dry spots on my face. I wanted to try something new, but I knew I liked L'Oreal (I've tried MAC and hated it, despite other people saying how great it was), so I thought I'd try Lumi Magique. I am very impressed with it. It has great coverage and as long as I exfoliate properly (just scrubbing my face with a wet washer) and put a little bit of powder over the top it is perfect.

I like this foundation because I can wear it without feeling like I have makeup caked on my face,
but, when I first got it the coverage was alright, and the more I used it the more sheer it became.
I still really like this foundation though!

I did some research on this foundation before purchasing, I watched UT reviews on it, and from ppl with similar skin tones to mine, and I am so glad I decided to try for myself! This is my go to winter foundation, as it goes on my skin amazingly, and works well with my moisturizer!! it creates a great smooth look on my fair skin, and creates a little glow that is the perfect antidote to dreary winter days! It handles well, lasts about 6 to 8 hours on me, and more if i set it, I use a matte powder to offset the glow, so i dont look to gleamy... not sexy! with that and a bit of blush, and I am good to go for my face! doesnt feel cloggy, or cakey, and not heavy feeling at all :) always a good thing!!

I was looking for a more moisturizing, medium-coverage foundation to cover redness/minor imperfections (I do not have acne) with NO SHIMMER. This is it! This has better coverage than revlon photo ready but still looks natural and doesn't have that god awful shimmer throughout. They didn't have the lightest cool shade, so I grabbed the lightest neutral shade and it works fine. I do set it with a little bit of powder because I prefer a less "dewy" finish but I definitely don't think this makes you look oily on its own or anything, unless you have really oily skin it may. I got it for $12 so that's a little expensive for drugstore but I love it so no big deal. I also think the packaging is great, love the rose gold touch and yay for it having a pump!

Love, love love the dewy finish of this foundation. I have to be very careful with blending aound my hairline, I find that patting my skin helps the foundation to blend. Will definately be buying again.

I love this foundation! It gave me the prettiest glow without looking too oily. I got so many compliments on it. I got it at target on sale for about 9 bucks so it wasn't expensive at all. I love that it had a pump and it in such an expensive looking bottle. It's one of my all time fav drugstore foundations!

HORRIBLE!!! Made me breakout in tiny spots everywhere, luckily, my organic coconut oil helped that within 3 days. Makes your skin too oily. I loved the way it looked though, and luckily I was able to return it (wiped off nozzle, kept sealing sticker lol).

CONS: YOU BREAK OUT INTO LITTLE SPOTS!!!!

Don't buy this.

I bought this on ebay, so I found it quite cheap. I got it for half the price:)

When i first put this on, the first thing I noticed was the amazing glow it gave me. I have the darkest color when I wear selftanners, and my face looked so clean, soft and radiant. Its not full coverage, but still, it made my skin look so amazing!
And my face has not broken out, and i have used it for two months now.

This foundation made me break out in spots. My skin is quite oily, but I havent had problems with spots for years. As soon as I started using this I got huge cystic pimples.

This foundation is also super shiny too. At first I liked the consistency of the product (not too heavy) and thought that the coverage and colour were perfect for me, but instead of giving me a 'dewy' glow, it looked so unnatural.

I wouldn't buy this again- L'oreal were heading in the right direction with this foundation, but havent quite pulled it off.

I really wanted to love this. It came with a pump, the color was perfect, it is very light for those days i was too lazy to put on my "full face" makeup. But sadly, it broke me out. I'd still recommend because it is a really good light weight foundation and on my oily skin, although it broke me out while I was wearing it, it didn't make me any oilier and it has a beautiful finish.

I just switched to L'Oreal Lumi Magique Foundation from L'Oreal Infallible because I can no longer find the Infallible. I have very oily skin and was a little hesitant going with a luminous foundation. It went on much smoother than Infallible so it was easier to apply. I also don't have to use as much as I did with Infallible. (which I love!) I use a primer (Not the usual. I use Milk of Magnesia. Google it, it's awesome. Oil control!) I also use powder after applying my foundation. The powder took away most of the luminous but that's okay because I don't like oily looking skin. BUT I HAVE TO TELL YOU, my face was so smooth and I didn't have to "powder my nose" like I usually had to, about every hour or so. I went 8 hours without powdering! The color is perfect and has great coverage. Also, it stayed on my face. A slight rub did not take it off. I am very very happy that I tried this foundation and that I liked it this soon after. I will definitely repurchase it.

I started using this foundation quite a few months ago and it seemed ok at first but i started to notice that it wears off really easily and i saw that my face looked really greasy and it didn't look as if i had any coverage at all :( on a positive note though it gives a dewy sort of look although it is quite shiny and the colours seem okay so if your looking for lightish coverage and this gives off what a tinted moisturiser would give you as it didn't cover my blemishes that well maybe a bit i don't think i'll be buying this again i think i'll stick to bourjois.

I had to go four shades darker to get my actual match but I really dont mind. I look like a W1-2 but W5 looks perfect on me.This foundation replaced my expensive Channel foundation. I usually don't like drugstore foundation but after trying this out on a date with my boyfriend and getting compliments on how pretty my skin looked! Heck yes! Also, my skin looks better! I apply using a large foundation brush (two pumps will do). Then top off with some Channel translucent powder(becase thats what I've got at the moment). IT DOESN'T LOOK CAKEY WHATS SO EVER!!!
