My only complaint is that I wish these had a safety seal because it is difficult to tell if they have been opened or not. I have most of the Infallible shadows, but my two favorites so far are the Bronzed Taupe and Smoldering Plum. I have been wearing the taupe on my lids and the plum as an eye liner. I have the oiliest lids, and this line of shadows, worn over primer, lasts all day without creasing on me. In fact, even waterproof eyeliners disappear from my lower lash line in very little time. These shadows last longer on my lower lash line than any liner I have found.

I love this for those days when i'm late and need just one color on my lids, this has so much dimension to it that you don't really need a crease shade, and that is something that I love about this product. I apply this with my finger for more pigment and I use a base even though i really dont need one. One thing that I dislike about this particular shade is that the color changes halfway through the day! It turns more of a grey color?? it's strange and throws me for a loop when I look at myself in the mirror. I still love and use this, but I wish the color stayed true since it lasts so long.

Fabulous color pay off, creamy, dusky taupe with controllable shimmer. survived 8 hrs at Universal Orlando in 90F heat p[lus rain!! no creasing, no smudging, no primer. No Fail. i used the darker cocoa as a liner.
other have complained about the packaging beca it has a little lid inside to tamp down the powder. hey, it works, and for $7 a pop i can deal with an teeny lil lid.

Bronzed taupe is a shiny taupe. It contains some shimmers in it.it goes on smoothly on the application,it last verry long,it blends easily! Verry nice color to have to blend with other eye shadows! It goes well with: cream, nude, copper, dark purple,pink,purple,peach,rose-gold. Love it!

Read about Infallible eye shadows from a blog.
Just like people raved about how pigmented this is, I found it to be pretty well pigmented and long lasting (I don't often wear eye primer, either).
I'd buy any of other infallible eye shadows.
One thing is, this color comes out a bit weird and too glittery on photos. Just something I noticed on my fb pics. For photos, something matte would work better.

I held off on getting these Infallible eyeshadows for longest time, because I really like the eyeshadows I currently own & didn’t really have the need/desire to get any more. But CVS had these on sale & I had a bunch of coupons, so I ended up finally biting the bullet and getting 3 of these Infallible eyeshadows. Well, I am sorry I waited so long, because I love them! Bronzed Taupe is a beautiful shade that just pairs so well with so many different colors, and the wear time is amazing. In the pot, it doesn’t really look ‘taupe’ to me (more of a plummy-bronzy-brown), but on my lids it’s a glimmering silvery taupe, with just the slightest plummy-brown undertone. Its so beautiful & complex, and the mix of warm & cool tones seems like it would show different on everyone. The texture of this is (as others have described) like a pressed, loose pigment, if that makes sense. It is a bit of a pain to keep removing/replacing the little plastic insert, but I can see that its necessary to help the shadow hold its form. It feels like a creamy powder. It applies best with my fingertip (I usually swear by brushes, but the application is too sheer and uneven with a brush). I apply a light layer all over my lid, blending with my ring finger. It can be easily layered for more intensity, or makes an excellent base for other powder eyeshadows. It lasts all day (a good 12+ hours on me) without a primer, and without fading, creasing, etc. A pot of this should last for ages, since so little is needed. The shade is versatile, the texture is unique, and lasting power is phenomenal. Highly recommended, for sure! EDIT 6/4/2012---I have been experimenting with application techniques. If I want vibrant color, a crème-shadow finish, and if I am using it as a base, I still prefer applying with my finger. But for a softer effect and a wash of color (over other powder shadow+primer), I use my ELF eyeshadow brush to apply all over my lid. Either way, the color is beautifully dimensional, and the lasting power is awesome. I am loving the versatility of these!

Really like this - got it along with the gleaming bronze and they look great with my brown eyes. This does not look silvery on me - it looks more like a goldish/taupe and kind of mauvey. Staying power is pretty good even without base - mind you I have oily lids and creamy shadows ALWAYS crease on me. Without base I can wear this for about 6 hrs before it starts creasing (but I do not put a lot on). With base it will last at least 10 hours - probably would last longer but I have never tried it.

Finally Canadian have the pleasure to used Bronzed Taupe, after reading rave review I looked everywhere to find it, and discovered it wasn't sold in Canada. Today I want to Shopperdrugsmart and saw the summer collection display and here it was Bronzed Taupe. I doesn't look like a taupe in the jar but once applied it is a nice shimmery bronzed taupe. I love Infallible Eyeshadows I have 6 of them and really love them all!
the staying power, pigmentation is really good and the price is the best!
Will repurchased

I love this shadow. The color is amazing and very well pigmented. It goes on smooth and almost like a cream. Really flattering on with my blue eyes. There is a little fall out when I apply it but not a crazy amount.
The 24 hour claim is totally unreal. It I am impressed with the wear time. You get 8 hours easily and beautifully. 12-14 with a good base/primer.
I hate the little thingy that comes in the pot. I really hate that you HAVE to have it. I have the black one and got tired of the thing (don't know what to call it) and threw it away and after about a week the powder started to come loose and get really messy. So it is needed, but annoying.
I will repurchase. It's great shadow.

This is so, so pretty on my green eyes. I would never have bought this if it were not for all the rave reviews on Makeup Alley. Usually anything with "bronzed" in its name is a no-go for me and my cool coloring. This shadow is really a cool toned taupe; I don't think it’s very "bronze" at all.
I hope L'oreal never stops making this because every time I wear it, someone compliments me on my makeup application skills. This shadow is so foolproof, even a beginner could use this and achieve outstanding results. The color it’s self is vibrant, not flat and not too shimmery and sparkly. You know when you are wearing a cheap, flat, powdery, unflattering eyeshadow? Well, this is the direct opposite of that.
This shadow is semi loose; it's almost like a pressed pigment. It comes in a little round flat pot that has a removable lid thingy that keeps the shadow from getting messy. It’s a really strange configuration, but who cares if you get such gorgeous results!
Every time I go to the drugstore this is sold out so word must be getting around. If I ever find it again, I will buy a few extra to have on hand.
Please don't discontinue this HG product L'oreal!

I really love this product, especially for a drugstore find! The texture is amazing and so is the pigmentation. I pair mine with the Maybelline eye tattoo in Bad to the Bronze, for a quick and easy eye look. The best part is how chic, easy, and long lasting this eyeshadow is..for sure a winner!

Just gonna jump on the ol' bandwagon here and say that I ADORE this product!! I looooove anything taupey/bronzey/satin metallic, and this clearly fits the bill. It's actually not so bronze, in fact it has silvery shimmer, but it is definitely a warm taupe. And it's goooorg :) applies best with my clean ring finger, pat it onto my lids and blend out. I like to pair this with a silvery taupe from L'Oreal in my HIP electrified duo. Also, this STAYS ON FOREVERRRRR AND EVERRR and a day. Swatched on my hand, then attempted to wipe it off - no go. Then washed with water, then soap, then tried rubbing it off again, and it was still there!! Faded maybe 70% but still, AMAZING. Also, using this as a base for other e/s works quite well to make them more vibrant. Love this, was about 6$ at my local BB&B, and most definitely recommend/will repurchase!!
Oh, and the packaging is quite nice, a little squared glass pot with a see through back that allows you to see the color, and there's a LOT of product, plus a little goes a long way!! Completely worth it!!

amazing! perfect taupe color, not a lot of shimmer when applied to the lid. really does last all day! i have fallen asleep with it on and have woken up with the color barely faded. i wear this when i go work out because it really stays put. HG taupe. its a good dupe for MAC pigment in coco. it also blends sooooooo easily! love it.

When I first started seeing reviews pop up on these I was SO intrigued. I'd been tempted to try the GA Eyes to Kill but can't fathom spending so much on an eyeshadow. I own eleven of these so far (lol). This shade stands out from the crowd, it's AMAZING. My eyelids are very oily and even with a primer my eyeshadows are usually gone in 6-7 hours tops. I have used this eyeshadow a ton with the same result. With no primer, this stays looking good for 10 hours on my lids. TEN HOURS (yes, it claims 24 hours but we all know how outrageous cosmetics claims are). Even after it starts to fade and crease, you can still see where it was applied, it doesn't just disappear like most other eyeshadows. This one impresses me so much, it's really fantastic, extremely pigmented and simply gorgeous. I keep one at home and one in my makeup bag so I never have to be without it :)

In general, i love these infallible eyeshadows. But this one is quickly becoming an all-time favorite. I was scared by the name because I don't normally like bronze-y e/s, but I gave it a go anyway. Turns out to not have a hint of bronze on my lids.
I use the ELF mineral e/s primer underneath this and it lasts pretty much all day until I take my shower at night. When I first put this on the lid, it looks very dark and scary, but I blend it out with a color like MAC cork from the Avon Mocha Latte quad. It softens the look and turns into the most beautiful taupe e/s on my lids. It's probably the prettiest taupe I own. So natural and elegant.

I own a couple of the Giorgio Armani "Eyes to Kill Intense" and the Chanel one and I absolutely loathe that expensive rubbish.
I don't know who was the first person to even try and compare these to the Armani or Chanel ones and call it a dupe, but to me there is a world of difference between the 3 product!
The amount of crumble you get from all 3 brands is pretty much the same to me, the colour payoff, the longevity, durability of 24HR Infallible eyeshadow, and the cost by far beats the Armani and Chanel!
Bronzed Taupe is an amazing metallic taupe with gold shimmer/specs/flex(whatever!). Super pigmented, a little goes a long way, best applied with fingers in a gentle swiping motion.
This colour was not part of the L'Oreal collection in Australia, most of my 24HR Infallible eyeshadows were purchased on eBay from an incredible seller in the USA.
These cost me between $5.95USD-$6.95USD that's a steal honestly, considering it cost 3x more in Australia.

These are the best shadows I've ever used! Bronzed Taupe is exactly that, a blend of bronze and a silvery taupe. It's a little too dark for my taste so I blend it with Iced Latte to brighten it a bit. The staying power of these is amazing. They don't budge from when you put them on until you remove them at night. Love that no primer is needed and that they apply best with fingers. Awesome product and I hope they add more colors soon!
