I love this foundation and use it as my regular everyday makeup. I love that it does not irritate my skin (surprisingly, despite the noticeable fragrance, which I do find lovely). It goes on very smoothly, dries quickly (while allowing just enough time to blend it - apply to one area at a time), covers all sorts of blemishes, wears well (almost an entire work day - I set with powder) and provides a beautiful finish. The look is more of a doll-faced appearance, as it is medium to full coverage, closer to the full end of the spectrum. It is a natural look in the finish, in that it is a bit mattifying, but has a subtle glow as well. It is very pretty. I am always told that I have nice skin when wearing this foundation, when actually I have blemishes and freckles (which, I know, some may love). It applies well on its own or over my Hourglass primer, and blush/powder apply well over it too. It does not cause me breakouts, and I think it may actually help my skin also. This has been my favourite foundation for years.

Sorry to be a party-pooper.
But this stuff really disappoints me! :(
I expected a lot from this, being $77 AUD and Dior.
I use Lancôme teint idole ultra 24h for day and Revlon colorstay when I go out.
After reading reviews on here on the quest for even better foundation I decided to purchase this over YSL teint resist.
I was color matched to shade 010, the lightest and on my neck it looked alright.
I wore this for a week and just really couldn't love it!
It gets oily on me and goes orange, every time I applied I was disappointed! Maybe on someone less pale and with dry skin this might work.
Also the scent reminded me of an old rimmel foundation..
Oh well, at least I know brand doesn't necessarily mean quality, I much prefer the Lancôme!! Lastly, this gave me pimples too and It's hard for me to breakout from a foundation. Sigh. Goodluck!

WHOA. This is some SERIOUSLY great foundation. It has high coverage without feeling like you're wearing a mask on your face, and it stays put on me all day long. Also, the color is just spot on for my skin, and it does not oxidize on me!!!!!!!!! This is a great day foundation to make you look polished, but not overdone for the office. Love love love Dior foundations and will repurchase forever!

Great foundation - perfect for a night out or events. It hasn't a cakey appearance (I heard people with dry skin can get it cakey unless properly prepping the skin). Lasts Forever indeed. Great colour selection. Perfect finish, doesn't transfer. Love it.

I love this foundation! I'm getting married next month and have tried out several different foundations over the past few months, and this one has come out on top for me. Some other long-lasting foundations I have tried can be very matte and suck the life out your skin, but this one gives the skin a nice healthy glow and is buildable to get a fuller coverage. I'm very pale and find that Dior 001 in any of their foundations is always the perfect colour. I think this will become my go-to foundation from now on.

This is my second favourite foundation. Unlike its predecessor, the flawless forever which broke me out this seemed to actually improve my skin. It caused no problems for my difficult hypersensitive to ingredients skin. I get cosmetic acne with most products but I know what I'm looking for now so that helps. This is a lovely velvety medium finish which has good longevity. My single gripe was that the colour I bought (020) was a bit pale for me so I tend to wear it in winter. The next yellowy shade one I thought was a bit too yellow so resisted buying. It also makes me a bit shiny in summer. It's an excellent product.

I was in the market for a good foundation. I have used Makeup Forever HD, Lancome, Estee' Lauder, and Laura Mercier Teinted Moisturizer, but I wanted something different. I found this product and I am loving it. This is a medium coverage foundation. I love the fact that it lasts all day. It has a perfume smell to it, so just be aware of that. It comes in a pump bottle which makes it easy to apply.
This foundation LASTS all day! That is a plus for me. It goes on smoothly and it is made to cling to your skin, not just lay there.Which is where the fusion comes in. It is not shiny or clumpy. When I used this product, I noticed it didn't break me out...Great! When used with a good primer, this is the best foundation I have ever used. This is not cheap, Dior is not known for being a drugstore priced foundation, but if you want a good foundation that does a good job, the $47.00 price is no different then any top of the line foundation out there. If you are looking for a good foundation, may I suggest you look into this foundation. I was not disappointed, I don't think you will be either.

Ive been recommened this product by the girl on the counter looking for covering, long lasting foundation. I can honestly say it doesnt do neither of those. It gives quite natural sheer coverage which didnt manage to cover my blemishes or dark circles under my eyes. It has smooth natural finish but tends to look a bit cakey when powdered. It looks quite nice. For the first hour.. Then the oil starts coming through and its rubs off so easiy that at the end of the day theres pretty much nothing left. And the worst of all it oxidizes horribly. I applied it and it seemed quite matched to my skin tone. And the suprise i ended up with slightly orange mask on my face.
It might be a great product for someone who doesnt have any problems such as blemishes or too much oil with the skin, but someone who needs a bit more coverage, long lasting matt won't find this foundation helpful.

This is probably my favorite foundation I've used. I love the consistency. The finish gives a wonderful healthy, radiant glow. I always got compliments on my skin when I used this. Unfortunately, when I stopped tanning even the lightest shade was much too dark. I still cheat and add a bit of this in with my MUFE Mat Velvet foundation. It really improves the texture and finish, which is normally a bit too mat and dull for me. Along with the fact that it doesn't come in a light enough shade, my only other complaint is the packaging. Not a big deal because there is a pump, but the lid just will not stay on.

I'm hesitant to give this five lippies as I've only worn it for three days, but so far it's the best foundation I've tried in a while. I was using MUFE HD in 120 but as I became paler in the winter it was starting to make me look too yellow. I tried other shades but nothing looked right. So in the last two months I tried MUFE Mat Velvet, which was too dry, Revlon Photoready which was nice but not long lasting, and Guerlain Lingerie De Peau, which is a beautiful foundation but none of the colors looked right for me.
Forever Flawless in 022 Cameo is a perfect color for my winter skin tone and the finish is beautiful, as well as long lasting. There is no oxidation, which I've had a lot of issues with using MUFE and Revlon. I apply Dior with the Sonia Kashuk beauty sponge (waiting for the Beauty Blender to arrive) and finish with MUFE HD Power, and my skin looks flawless.
This is an expensive product at $47, but its worth it if you apply it right and only use a pump of the product. If you need more coverage let it dry and apply a small layer with a moist beauty sponge to problem areas. It's wonderful.
Ill add another lippie after a week or two if it stays this awesome.

I love baby doll look and this foundation does not give you a good coverage at all. It is not good for those who have oily skin. Its coverage is medium.
But I love the packaging.

I'm a fan of Christian Dior foundations, as I used the Nude foundation a few years ago and remember it gave good coverage. I'm on the fence as to whether I would try the Forever foundation again. The reason being is that while I do like the texture and coverage, I'm not sure that the shades of the range suit my complexion.
The coverage is full. Not a lot of foundation is needed. The packaging is excellent (a pump bottle). However, the downside is the coverage can feel heavy and it is very expensive. It is also perfumed, which I don't think is necessary for a foundation.
Although I'm pale and am using a lighter shade, I feel this foundation washes me out and I need to use a lot of bronzer to not look like a corpse. I may have to switch foundations as it is just not the right undertone for my skin.
If I did use another Dior foundation, I would go back to the Nude foundation line which I used a few years ago.

To me it seems like a full-coverage foundation, which i din;t need actually. It's too heavy and i have the feeling my skin doesn't breath through. Also, if I use it daily, my skin breaks, so I need to use something else as well. After a few hours it becomes kind of orange on me, and I end up looking funny. nice packaging, seems hydrating but my skin reacts strange to it...I really wanted to like this, especially at the price tag it has.

I purchased this foundation as heading into winter, I didn't think my mac TM would cut it much longer!! I like this and will happily use it all up but I'm on the fence about whether I'd buy it again. It's not too heavy and gives decent coverage and I find people compliment me on my skin when wearing it but I can't he but prefer TM to true foundation! It's generally given good reviews for dry skin (which I have) but I found I still needed my Laura mercier moisturising primer underneath to keep it hydrated enough. A like but not a love if I'm honest, I think the HG quest continues!

It's a great product from Dior that I like other than the J'adore perfume. I was expecting something to help my skin become flawless and Dior Forever nearly reach my expectation. This is the best foundation I've used, it help my skin more radiant, cover the dark spots, acne pretty well. I don't need to use concealer after applying this foundation. Just one thing I need to complain is the caky feeling if u apply it too much, It will make ur face looks heavier and older if u overuse it. After all, I still love this product and would repurchase it when the current one runs out.

Long lasting and great coverage. Coverage is very buildable, small amount of product provides great sheer/ medium coverage and this foundation is buildable to full coverage without cakeing. I used this product whilst in Asia and this foundation had great staying power in the humidity. I didnt have any problems with dry patches but my tzone needed the odd touch up in the humidity not bad considering i didnt use any primer. No skin reactions to this product either and the colour selections provide different base shades so makes it easier to find the perfect match! Packaging is very up market and the price is on the higher end but overall a great foundation. You will get your money's worth if you are looking for staying power.

NW20 here. Using 010 in Dior which isn't too pink. I wandered into Sephora and looked at a few things and came across this Dior foundation. Never have tried a Dior product before, but the S.A. applied the foundation on me and it was immediately apparent that it left a beautiful finish. It does seem to dry quickly once applied, but it lasts all day with a mere touch up of powder later if needed. Sometimes I leave it as is, or use a mineral powder to top it off.
My skin tends to show oil about mid-day. I do need to have a fair amount of moisturizer on before I use this foundation, due to mature skin. I don't have perfect skin, but this really gives a classy, airbrushed appearance. In my 50s, I need all the help I can get. This will be a repurchase for me.

I am very happy I didn't buy this foundation. I expected it to be wonderful, but got an average formula that does not nearly deserve its price.
It's full of alcohol so it looks dry once applied and as the day goes on, it keeps looking even more dry, but also more oily. It sounds strange, but my skin is very oily and dehydrated so this foundation doesn't mattify enough and makes my dehydration even worse.
The shade selection seems to be nice. I was matched to 020, which is a light neutral and although I am slightly yellow, this colour melted into my skin seamlessly. The coverage is somewhere around medium, depending on how you apply it. Fingers achieve lighter coverage, and a dense synthetic kabuki makes it a bit more opaque. But this is nowhere near e.g. revlon colorstay or estee lauder double wear.
It feels light on the skin and it didn't make me break out. Also, it didn't melt off my face. If it didn't have so much alcohol, it would be a wonderful choice for normal to oily skin. But this way, I don't recommend it to anyone.

The coverage is great and it feels flawless. However, this foundation has a reddish tint to it that is so unnatural looking. That being said, it seems that this foundation is geared towards those with cooler complexions rather than for those with warmer tones. I'm warming this up with my MAC powder, but once it runs out, I will not be repurchasing.
For reference I am C40 and was matched with Diorskin 040.

A truly lovely foundation, especially for combo/oily ladies that have problems with makeup wearing off during the day. Alcohol is the third ingredient on the list, which may be potentially irritating for certain skin types. This could've been HG material for me, if not for the fact that I could not find a match! I have quite fair skin with olive and yellow undertones (MAC Studio Fix Fluid in NC15 is a near perfect match), and 010 seemed to be a beautiful match, until the color dried down and it became too pink and dark. I would say it oxidized about 1 and a half shades darker in a few minutes. I also tried the 021, geared towards skin in the light medium range with yellow undertones, and it looked orange on my skin. However, after the initial oxidation as it dried on my skin, it did not further oxidize during the day.
Ignoring the bad color match, I gave it four stars because the texture is truly phenomenal. It has a gel-like liquid texture, isn't thick, and has quite a bit of "stretch" to it so little product is needed to get good coverage. It dried down to a smooth, satin matte finish, but didn't feel uncomfortable or heavy like traditional long-wearing foundations (i.e. Double Wear, Colorstay). It also lasted most of the day for me, when set with loose powder. It was quite amazing for someone with oily skin like me. I rarely felt like I needed to blot, but when I did, there was very little transfer. If you can find a perfect color match, I would absolutely recommend this foundation for a longwearing, yet satiny finish! But because of the fact that the shades were either too pink or too yellow for me, I won't be repurchasing.
