Formerly the personal fragrance of King Faisal of Saudi Arabia, he gave solid 24k bottles of this scent as gifts to his guests. And more recently considered unisex, it has been worn by Catherine Zeta Jones. Ah, now I understand the self image of Catherine Zeta Jones a little bit better. To me, this scent is purely masculine. It has the "men's scent" signature that I so dislike, whether on men or on women. The bottle, however, is beautiful, being 24k gold plated. And it is also worn by Harrison Ford. I wish I could like this scent, but I just can't.

I really like this scent. It's a fresh, citrusy scent that would definitely work for a man or a woman, IMO. I didn't find it too heavy in the musk like SMW was so I much prefer this. A second only to Spring Flower for me.

I was actually surprised that I liked this Creed. I think that this is what CKone, Polo Sport and other watery, ozonic marine unisex scents aspired to smell like but failed. I do agree with Mayra's review below. It is very similar to Silver Mountain Water. The fresh, citrusy top notes are very uplifting. Feels very sporty & casual yet classy at the same time.
Created for the King of Saudi Arabia, and as per Creed standards was handmade in batches and had become a favorite by royalties and celebrities.
Here are the notes:
• Top notes of crisp fruity accents with a salty tang reminiscent of the seaside.
• Mid-notes of Sicilian lemon, bergamot, green mandarin, and Florentine iris.
• Amber, musk, and tropical-forest base notes.

I really didn't care for this one. Smells strange- like cologned dryer sheets.

This is one of my most expensive frangrance!!! But whenever i wear it people tell me i smell great and then ask what it is. The only thing i don't like is that it comes in this huge clunky gold spray bottle so it's not travel friendly, but oh well it's lasted over a year a definite must try if you like Michael (Kors), it's not as heavy so you can wear it all year round.

I really love this one, to wear myself. Believe it or not, it's really nice with Victoria's Secret Pear Glace lotion under. It's clean and classic, like Hermes Amazone. A beautiful, refreshing citrus. It lasts forever on my skin, as do all Creed fragrances. I don't understand the negativism about Creed on this board. I think their fragrances are works of art. They don't all smell like shampoo, is all. Catherine Zeta Jones wears it ...
One description: Olivier Creed has bestowed a shimmering glow on his Millesime Imperial perfume. Sunbeam-hued radiance plays over a bottle designed for excitement that opens up a fairy-tale world, a palace from the thousand and one nights.
An evening of heady fragrance and delight.
Warm, romantic, unforgettable - an experience that dazzles the imagination.
Top notes combining crisp fruit accents with the salt tangs of ocean transport us to a palace by the seaside.
Mid-notes of Sicilian lemon, bergamot, green mandarin and Florentine iris engulf us in heavenly flower and fruit scents that bewitch the senses.
Amber, musk, and tropical-forest base notes complete this uniquely caressing and powerful fragrance.
Let yourself be swept away by Millesime Imperial, a perfume that both men and women will find irresistible.

I am all turned around on this one. I had no idea it was a mens scent - I wore it today and loved it on myself! My only regret is that it didn't last longer. It was gone within 2-3 hours. :( Not sure I would buy this, but I would definitely swap for more samples!

Imperial is similar to Silver Mountain Water but I think it's more citrusy and brighter. Both are musky (with that Creed signature smell) and sweet, potent and upscale-stylish. I prefer this one on my husband than on myself. A handsome scent in a fun, very ostentatious gold bottle.

I was disappointed with my choice from Creed (I ordered a sample online). It is a highly masculine scent and the lemon scent is too strong. It overpowers the rest of the notes in the fragrance. I've heard such great things about Creed's fragrances that I'm dying to try the rest.

OY! What a big let down! I must say the intial top notes were heavenly for me, fresh citrus, fresh floral, really lovely, almost borderline feminine. Then bang! Whaloped my nose with such offensive, sharp, nose-stabbing basenotes of I-dont-know-wot - old man shuffling to the library? old woman shuffling to the library? or maybe an old couple shopping for slippers? All I know, is that it has that "old perfume" quality that old classics posses and I don't like it one bit. What a downer! And I thought I was going to like this one too.

Stinky, stinky, stinky!!! Lemon, bergamot(HATE bergamot)mangarin, iris, amber, lemon and grapefruit. this is a man's cologne, but one I would certainly never by any men I know. Creed IMO has some of the most revolting high enmd fragrances around. I hardly like any of them and wash most off within the first 30 minutes if not sooner. This was no exception. It smells like something a Granpa from the early 1900's might wear, but not a female fragrance for sure. And the bergamot just jumps out and smacks you! ugh on this one. :(

This is feast for citrus lovers!
Grapefruit, Lemon, Bergamot, iris amber of orange flower and green mandarin. Another new favorite Creed and almost a tie for me with Silver Mountain Water. Unisex. Execellent lasting power. If you enjoy light and fresh fragrances you should at least give this one a try.
$140 for the 2.5 oz bottle

I did not like Millesime Imperial for myself. Very masculine smelling. BUT if you are looking for a terrific men's fragrance this is wonderful! Whenever I find my hubby (somewhere out there LOL) I hope he likes this :)

I don't dislike this fragrance, but it really didn't do much for me. The adjective 'heady' in the description seems like an exaggeration to me - while this is a pleasant citrus scent, it's rather on the bland side. I think that I prefer a little more tang/sharpness to my citrus scents.
