this does an okay job for my coloring..i have black hair..and since it tends to fade fast i need a good shampoo to help maintain it....this is gentle and smells kinda fruity

I thought this shampoo was terrible. It kept my color in for about a month and a half, which is the only reason it got 2 lippies instead of one. But it did NOT moisturize my dry chemically processed hair at all. It doesn't lather well, and the smell lasts for about 2 seconds after you get out of the shower. I wouldn definitely not repurchase this shampoo again. I'm sure i could find an equally decent shampoo that also moisturizes in the drugstore. Don't waste your money!

Okay, call me cheap or picky, I don't care - I just don't care for this shampoo. I got it at Ulta for $25 for both the shampoo and conditioner and I think I paid $20 too much. Honestly, I think I have gotten MUCH better results from cheaper shampoos and definitely a lot more shine! Plus, I like smell and this has none - expect when lathering.I wanted to like this so bad and still have a ton of it left. So maybe one day (like in 100 years), I will be able to throw the empty bottles of Joico into the trash and try something else. I will be nice and give it two lippies - since I have had worse..or have I?

Doesn't help keep any more color than any other color-safe shampoos do; it does however leave my hair feeling dirty. And I'm not sure how I feel about the sweet tart smell.

This shampoo is gentle enough for color-treated hair, does not strip your color. It has amino acids, sunscreens, and antioxidents in it as well, smells great as well. I find using color-care products really helps extend my hair color.
