The first time I tried this, I was completely disgusted by the taste. I HATE LICORICE. But the box said to give it a try for five days, then go back to a mint toothpaste. I figured, hey, I spent the money on it, I should at least give it a try. After a couple of days, sure enough, I didn't even WANT to go back to mint. I love how much milder fennel is, while still making my mouth and breath feel clean! Now, mint feels gross to me. I have no problem making a special stop at the health food store just to pick up another tube of this toothpaste. :)

Love the licorice flavour and smell of this toothpaste. I also appreciate that it is natural and lacking in *mystery ingredients*. Leaves my whole mouth feeling and tasting fresh and clean!

Well, you either love the taste of black licorice or you hate it. I love it... so this makes for a nice change in standard toothpaste fare. Teeth feel clean. I'll keep it in my toothpaste rotation.

I love the taste of licorice, and gag on the tastes of mint and cinammon, so I was looking forward to trying this out. Well, it would've worked for me, but the fennel did nothing to freshen my breath- in fact, after fifteen minutes of brushing with it, and not eating or drinking anything else, my breath was actually offensive to some people! (And how embarassing to tell them, "It must be my toothpaste!") The other bad thing is that the tube I bought was made from some kind of metal, not plastic, so 3/4 into the tube, it started to crack into sharp little jags at the sides and there was no getting to the rest of the paste at the bottom without cutting myself. I would probably try this product again if they packaged it in plastic and if I lived alone so other people wouldn't have to bear the reek of my fennel breath.

If you are into natural stuff, this is worth a try. I can take or leave licorice, but I found the taste of this toothpaste to be strange. I guess you either like fennel or you don't. I think I would try this brand in a different flavor.

The flavour was subtle and nice but my mouth and throat always had a weird dry sensation after I used it.

this stuff is nice yo. it leaves ur mouth feeling really nice. i dunno how to describe it. worth a try. my mummy got it for us cos we found out how much artificial crap they put in colgate-type brands(not to mention they test on animals!) the packaging is a bit shit, like towards the end it start craking at the sides, but its not unbearable. i tried using colgate at a friends house and i t was amazing how sweet it tasted! definitly worth purchasing. if u dont like it, the spearmint is pretty cool too! get it mint, cool?! eh eh/! uhh ok, kiran..

This stuff is the greatest! I've always really like the taste of fennel and I tried this one at my aunt's house. It's so great!!! Tom's has some really good toothpastes like cinnamin (my dad's fave) and strawberry for kids (I used it when I was little). I've always been into the natural stuff and it's nice to know I can clean my mouth with something natural too!

A great fennel taste, and unlike some health-brand toothpastes, this has a nice smooth texture which spreads and foams easily. It has no whitening properties, but seems to do the basic teeth-cleaning job effectively.

I love this stuff! I don't think I could ever go back to a minty toothpaste again. It makes my mouth feel so fresh.

So clean and fennel-y, leaves your mouth feeling even fresher than mint! People in many cultures chew fennel seeds to freshen their breath after eating, so it makes sense to make a fennel toothpaste. Tasty even for people who don't like black licorice (my hand's up here).
