The most difficult mascara to remove ..period..hate this product.Do not waste your money unless you have Lots of time to try to get it off your lashes.I tried to remove this with eyemakeup removers, oils including olive, coconut and almond.. The skin around my eyes was very sore after each attempt.. I am a bit of a mascara addict and try new ones as soon as they hit the market. skip this one guys !!

Oh gosh, this mascara is as great as falling in love. Haha. I remember seeing so many commercials with this mascara which is what caused me to buy it. I'm a sucker for commercials haha. Well anyways, I bought the waterproof version because for some strange reason it was $3 cheaper than the nonwaterproof version. The packaging is beautiful, I love the golden tube. This mascara has never clumped on me, i've been a proud owner for maybe 3 months now. You can layer the mascara as much as you can and it won't clump!!! It just makes you eyelashes thicker and darker! It's absolutely amazing. But doesn't give you the "oomph" like Maybelline's lash stiletto but this is still an unbelieveably great mascara.

ETA: I keep editing this review as I use up my tube of this. I'm starting to see why so many people like this mascara. The brush - awkward as I find it - is The AntiClump. As long as you don't want a truly volumized, dramatic look, you can get a really good "natural" long-lasting look with this mascara. Holds curl, no smudges, et. (In fact, the brush is so comb-y and the formula so dry that it "curls" my lashes without a curler - some might find that useful.) I just really want to apply about 3 more coats, and that doesn't work with this mascara.
ORIG: I hate the new spiky plastic brush -- the old Voluminous was much better. Good staying power/waterproofiness, no clumps or flakes, but it's just impossible to apply enough to get that thick look that it should have. As a result it's very finicky -- there's a stage at which it looks ok (not the volumizing look I want, but at least it doesn't look terrible) and you have to stop applying at exactly the right moment or BOOM! Tarantula eyes. Gross.

This stuff is amazing. It holds a curl like nothing I've ever used, and doesn't clump at all. The only downside is that it's a nightmare to remove. I've yet to figure out how to get it off without three rounds of makeup remove + face wash, so it's not an everyday thing for me. If I ever figure that out, I'll never wear anything else.

My friend recommended me this mascara about 10 months ago. I love love love love it. And after using it for a long time, not as much. My eyelashes are kinda on the short side, but they're not non existent. They're still a decent length, and they stick straight out, like most Asian eyelashes.
Pros:
I found that this mascara held my curl well. It really lengthened my eyelashes. It separates my eyelashes really well also. Affordable. I like the shiny packaging lol. I love shiny things ;)
Cons:
Not a lot of volume. I have oily lids and just all around my eyes, and at the end of the school day, the mascara starts to bleed. And no, it's not my eyeliner or anything because on the days when the only makeup I wear is this mascara, I still look like a raccoon. Not good. It has an odd smell, but I'm not all that bothered by it. I also found the packaging to be kinda bulky.

My very first WP mascara was Maybelline's Lashblast. It was great & all, but it was so tough to remove!
L'Oreal's Voluminous Million Lashes, on the other hand, was easy to remove with MUFE's Sens'Eyes remover. That's a big thumbs up for me, since it rains a lot where I live and I needed a WP mascara that was easily removable.
This mascara certainly defines & lengthen your lashes. If you're looking for volume, there are other mascaras that can do better. Though, you can build up the coats and eventually you will achieve that thickness.
The formula is dry (holds your curl) and was easy to apply. No clumps, no flakes. Just as L'Oreal promised.
The only CON that I have with this mascara is its brush. Yes, it's good at separating lashes, but I have a very hard time trying to reach my lower lashes since the brush is so thick. I might need to use the business card trick for this.
> Overall, you should try out this mascara if you're looking for a product that defines, lengthens, and some mediocre volume to your lashes.

Definitely defined my lashes, but I had to apply about four coats before I felt like they had enough volume (I usually do anywhere from 2-4 coats so it isn't an unheard of number for me). Definitely waterproof. I didn't notice it smudging or flaking. It will be a go-to for me.

I absolutely love this mascara! I l use waterproof mascara year round, simply because it holds the curl and I don't have any trouble removing it when using my Neutrogena duo phase eye makeup remover. I have absolutely no problems with smudgy mascara (i never have with regular mascara either) and i have oily/combination skin.
This holds the curl sooooo well! I'm asian and i curl my eyelashes everyday and practically abuse them. Very few eyelashes fall out when i use this mascara.
The 2nd best thing is how perfecting it is. I find with a lot of "volumizing" mascaras all you get is clump. Some people say clump is good and i agree but it only looks nice in pictures. In person, it just looks like a bad, messy job. For example, Maybelline the falsies. I find it makes my eyelashes look good, but clumpy and not smooth on the eyelashes. This is exactly opposite! It makes your eyelashes thicker but in my opinion it is a lot better for definition and length.
If you want a great, long-lasting waterproof mascara to hold the curl whether you're swimming in the summer or not, i would suggest this! It's a great everyday mascara and it lengthens and defines really well. I don't think they advertised this the best way because it doesn't "millionize" your eyelashes but it certainly makes them look amazing.
I don't like the original voluminous waterproof or not and don't know what the hype about that is. However i love this mascara and the packaging makes me feel like a princess (: Definitely repurchasing!

This is my HG, go to, no fuss mascara, and I can't count how many tubes I've gone through in the past couple of years. No, this mascara will not give you that "falsies" look that most women seem to be after, but it will enhance what you've got. The thing I love most about this mascara is not only does it lengthen and provide a decent amount of volume, but it seems to be the only mascara that actually curls my lashes without having to use a curler. It doesn't flake off, it is easy to remove at the end of the day, and I can use a good three coats without getting even a sign of clumping. I will continue to buy this mascara as long as it is on the market.

I really like this mascara, it lengthens my lashes and adds volume, but not too much. Thoughout the day it doesn't make my eyelashes feel brittle like their gonna break, or clumpy or dried out. And it doesn't smudge either. I got mine for $8 CAD, which is very good for its price because I have had much crapper mascaras for $9. The packaging is very loud, and quite tacky, but then again it never leaves my makeup drawer. I've had fatter and longer bottles, and way more fatter brushes. As far as the waterproofing, it is waterproof (go figure) so obviously you need a good eye makeup remover that removes waterproof makeup. Overall, its an amazing drugstore mascara, my favorite so far, and I defenatly recommend it.

I have tried just about every mascara out there from drugstore to the high end products, but this mascara has to be one of my favorites. I had low expectations when I bought this mascara, but boy was I wrong. Everyone complains that its difficult to remove, but thats kinda the point since its waterproof, so I didn't care that it was a tad bit of trouble to take off. It doesn't flake and it really makes my lashes look longer and fuller, and it lasted all day through wind, heat, and rain. My only complaint is the packaging is way too bulky. Overall I would purchase this again.

New HG!!! Gives me curved, long and voluminous lashes, but in a different way.
I was quite sad when L'Oreal discontinued my favourite mascaras (Voluminous and Double extension waterproof). One day, I decided to give this new mascara a try, although I didn't like the brush and I suspected that it wouldn't give me voluminous lashes (hate the fotoshopped adds with Eva Longorias fake lashes).
Boy, was I wrong. This works in a different way than usual because the brush coats every single (!) lash with mascara, thickens, curves, elongates them and fans them out. I have never seen anything like it before. It doesn't smudge and it is the FIRST mascara that does look fantastic on my lower lashes, and gives me the sixties look. So if you're after the Elaine Robinson 60s dolleye look, go and get this mascara.
There is just one thing I would like to mention: I don't recommend this mascara if you don't have many lashes because it relies on the effect of each lash being separated and coated. In that case, I would chose a classic volumising mascara like Max Factors 2000 calories.

Wow! I've been a committed fan of the waterproof Maybelline Lash Stiletto but decided on a whim to try the L'Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes. I smiled when I saw the name and just went for it. Well, this is amazing stuff. I really wasn't expecting anything very different from the Maybelline but boy, was I surprised! This mascara both lengthens and adds volume. And I can even do two coats without getting clumps--unbelievable. Removing it is no problem with my DHC Deep Cleansing Oil. I am now a true believer and this is my HG mascara.

Great mascara. Spent my whole life wearing mascara that smudged on me. Wore this the other day, it was extremely hot and I happen to get a massage, had my face and eyes squished in the head holder(?)....No smudging!! Very impressed. Also a little tip for people who have problems with removing it. Use grape seed oil, it takes it right off, very gentle and natural.

Well despite what others are saying for this I found this smudged after a couple of hours and I wasn't putting this through any paces--just wearing it through a pub crawl. No dancing, nothing stressful. Inexusable. Can I not find a great non smudging non flaking mascara for the summer that will not make my lashes fall out or my eyes itch that doesn't cost a ton? Geesh!

My HG mascara :D
I loved the original because ALL waterproof mascaras pretty much smudge on me. Since the original was on the drier side in terms of formulas, I decided to pick up the waterproof on a whim :)
Like the original, but bettter! Holds my curl a lot better!
Definitely more defining and lengthening than actually like "volumizing" though.
No smudges!

Okay so I finally get it... where waterproof eyeliner and mascara in the summer and have fewer "melting" issues. Being a self-professed L'oreal/Lancome woman when it comes to eyeliner and mascara, I decided to cease my obsession with Voluminous Carbon Black and try this newer product "Million Lashes" as I bought waterproof mascara for this summer. Well, I like it. The case has a glamourous look, and the brush is similar to the voluminous and is "substantial" which I prefer in a mascara (I detest skinny mascara brushes.). Anyway, Million lashes works good on me... my lashes look thicker and even a little lengthier. (I don't think addtional length is promised, so it would be okay if it didn't lengthen.) All in all, this one's a winner in my book.

This mascara is AMAAAAZING on me! Just got it today, and my lashes were like large waterproof fans. I loved the definition, and my lases were actually soft. Came off with bi-phase or regular water-type remover just fine.
My mascara wand was NOT the rubber one, though! It looks like a Fairydrops type of wand, but not as dramatic a curve. And that is FINE by me. This is now my HG, replacing the beloved Lancome. *gasp* Twenty bucks less? Yes, please! Only thing different is that the lancome has the lovely rose scent, and this has none. Actually, another plus for this one!
NO stink. At all. Does not smell like gas or oil. yay!
I was in the heat at a pool party today, and this stuff held up perfectly.
FINALLY, my waerproof (and even regular) HG!

I have stick straight lashes that point downward. I tried the regular version but it gets all flakey. I tried the waterproof one and it's awesome. It holds my curl really well and doesn't flake. It's not clumpy. It really holds, so it's kind of a pain to take off. I don't think it'll work for people with already thick lashes since it is a drier formula. It didn't thicken for me though. The brush was a little big for me at first, but I got the hang of it after a couple of days. I recommend this for those with straight, thick lashes.

I was expecting a lot more from this mascara. Is truly waterproof and a little bit hard to remove. It doesn´t hold the curl and doesn´t add volume to your lashes, only a little lenght and a little definition. Very natural look and that was not what i´m looking for. The voluminous full definition version is way better
