What can I say Ladies..this morning as usual hubby and I went to do some grocery shopping, and I picked up these beauties(the light beige one,and the brown one). Now,I have oily eyelids and they get even more oily as the day progresses.I put the light beige one on about 1 today(Saturday)and here it is..almost 11:30pm at night and this primer-eyeshadow,its STILL THERE!!Im impressed!!!!I didnt put anything else on my lids..nothing,nada...just this covergirl light beige.I cleaned,I cooked,vacummed,...just saying:)
Update!I have kept this stuff on my eyelids all night, and its just after 8 am in the morning, and I still see the sparkles, but the best thing..the primer itself is still there!!!!!!Today I think I will use this brown one and put some powder eyeshadow on,and see how it goes:)With a clean face of course!Im going to buy more of these!

I have been tempted to buy primer to use with my powder shadows, but I'm glad I bought this product (which combines primer + color) instead. It goes on quickly, is easily blendable with a finger, and you can do a sheer application or layer on the color more heavily. I have both the "extreme green" and "platinum pop." Despite the name, the green is pretty subtle if you want it to be. The silvery light blue of "platinum pop" appeals to me less, but I'll still wear it. If Cover Girl adds a plum shade, I'd buy it in a minute! This stays put and looks good for a long time; there is minor creasing, but that can be smoothed out with a finger or Q-tip.

Eye shadow has either always disappeared or has caused creases, grrr...I saw this reviewed and with the primer in the formula, I loved it, only tried #800 which is a frosty whitish color, which is my go to color, will def try others, very satisfied and stays on, no creases, if you make a mistake, wipe immediately as it dries quick ;)

I don't like this product. It smudged and didn't stay on. It looks so cute in the bottle but its impossible to put on. It comes out blotchy. Don't get this.

I bought this today. I was intrigued knowing that this is a shadow and primer combo. I have Beige Blaze. I love the shade in the tube; shimmery ivory. I have a mocha complexion and this shade really shows well against my skin, but the consistency is a bit lacking. It does go on streaky and kind of sheer. I still like it and I would like to try the Extreme Green shade, as well. This retails for $11.99cdn. I bought with 40% off plus a $2 coupon, so I only paid $5.19 before taxes. Not bad.

I got this in Beige Blaze and I am not liking it very much. I will have to see if with more attempts I can get better as using it but as of now, I will not repurchase it. I am no spring chicken and my eye lids are not great - not smooth and they show all imperfections. Anything too shiny really enhances how they are not nice and this product in this color is very shiny. I was hoping for something I could at least use under shadow but it still shines out from below. Maybe the other colors would have been better as this is almost a nude on me or maybe my eyelids are just too old for this stuff.

This product works excellently. Even though I wouldn't use them on their own, the colours are all gorgeous. I prefer to use this product as a primer, because I originally bought it because the store I went to didn't have L'oreal Decrease (I've never been able to wear eyeshadows without them creasing) and I'm so glad I chose this instead. They really work to make sure that my shadow doesn't crease until I take it off. And I tested some of this on my arm before hopping in the shower - there was still a nice shimmer of color when I got out, I had to use some makeup remover. It has great staying power, especially for the price. My only complaints are that the tube is small, and I wish they had a purple color.

i really like this product but not as a stand alone eyeshadow product. i bought this in the lightest color intending to use it as an eyeshadow primer. as a stand alone shadow i feel like its hard to really build the color. but as a primer it works great. in fact i think it may be slightly easier to work with than ud primer potion (which imo feels a little too tacky and sticky for my own preferences). as a primer it intensifies my eyeshadows and prevents them from budging until i take them off. also the price is much better than a lot of the other eyeshadow primers out there! and i also think the large sponge cushion like applicator is kind of novel =)

I got the beige color, and the formula is very bizarre. It's wet and take forever to set and stay in place. The color is very nice and shimmery, but it is just too much o a hassle to deal with. Also, the applicator is too squishy to put products on your lid; I end up taking a separate brush and then applying it.

I just purchased this on a whim, and I must say, I'm pleasantly surprised! I got the Blue Bomb shade b/c I was intrigued by it's silvery blue color. For a long time, I've been looking for the right shade of gray to compliment my complexion and replicate a make-up look I saw yrs ago. I've tried dozens of shadows, some very expensive, to no avail, so you can imagine my excitement upon discovering that this relatively inexpensive ds shadow is exactly what I've been searching for! It has just the right undertones and contrast to work with my skintone. I also don't mind the applicator. I just use it to sporadically dot the shadow onto my lids, and then I use a large brush to spread and blend it out. The best thing about this product is that it truly does last all day with no creasing or fading whatsoever!! Honestly, I'm so pleased that I almost feel like going out and stocking up on this stuff, haha.

Great product. It is very sheer and bright. I got the pink color and it doesn't look "pink", just very subtle and iridescent. Makes my eyes just "pop" without looking overdone. Great for everyday wear. Also, you can layer more on for a more intense look.

I bought pink. I wanted to like it. It looked so amazing on the model on TV. It is very reasonably priced, and the color is shimmery and very pretty.. but it doesn't wear well for me. I found it feathered and creased horribly. Long wear means nothing if the product won't behave smoothly!

So I tried the Brown colour of this product and I actually was iffy about it because of the reviews I've read on MUA.
anyways, I actually liked it.
The product was much lighter in colour on my lid than in the container, but it stayed on really well (I use urban decay primer potion all the time... so that could've helped too).
It was on sale for 7.99 CDN so I bought it; the regular price was 10.99, I wouldnt pay full price for it.
the packaging is great, because it's easy to stuff it in my makeup bag & I dont mind the sponge tip.
so in conclusion, the dark brown colour of this line is a great buy if its on sale =)

I really enjoy this product like mentioned before its great as a primer and since i bought one of lightest colors its good for any day any time. I holds to other shadows and It has not creased for me at all. Love this product and will probably buy some more colors. However the want is not as useful and I usually finish applying with my fingers!

These are gorgeous. I didn't ever really use DS makeup that often but I recently tried a fantastic CG powder so now I'm on a Covergirl binge. :) I love cream shadows in general, but this one really lasts! It's not as shimmery or pigmented as my favorite Clinique Lid Smoothie, but I use the Pearl color underneath my daily eyeshadow and it holds as well as any primer, with the added bonus of providing a nice browbone highlight.

I have this in beige, and I like it because of how natural and sheer it is. The wand in okay I tend to use my fingers to smear it in though. it Creases for me a few minutes after I put it on but once I smear them out it wears perfectly all day.

I got the brown color and I've used it just about every day for a couple weeks now. It's amazing!!! It does not apply as dark as it is in the tube. Once blended out, it's a warm taupey shade which goes perfect with an everyday neutral eye.
I still use a primer underneath and use this as my colored base. I've never experienced any creasing with this stuff! Once it's on, it sets and stays true to color and in place all day.
I also like that you only have to use a small amount. I barely dab the applicator on my fingertip then apply to the lid and blend out.
Speaking of the applicator - it's a bit weird. Like a spongetip on a mascara wand, but it does the job.
I'm going to eventually try a few more colors out because I was really impressed with this!!

I bought this hoping it would be a dupe for my urban decay PP.... And it almost is, it's definitely a good substitute if you want to save a bit but doesn't have the staying power like urban decay's. For example with urban decay my eye make up will stay on all day and all night pretty much.
I'll keep buying this one though since money is tight! I have the bronze one FYI

I recently bought this product because it says it has a primer built in. Its true it stays on good. I have the pearl one and the payoff of the color just didnt reach my expectation. It make look amazing when it is applied but when you blend it, the color kind of disappears. The formula is too wet. Maybe its just the pearl one? i dont know. Also the wand! It just really bothers me. I dont like it somehow, my personal opinion. With the wet prodct and the wand, it just doesnt go together.
TIP: if you let the product dry a little and blend it, its more pigmented.

I have the pink one, and i loved it. The colour made my greenish/brown eyes POP. and it had a SLIGHT crease at the end of the day. it didnt fade. and it was easy to put on. It is a bit too frosty for my liking. But thats not going to stop me from checking out the other colours.
