I too was trying to make the switch to natural products. After using Tom's (and having a burn rash break out on my armpits), I tried this deoderant with the recommendation of a clerk at Whole Foods. I smelled nasty within an hour and had to carry it with me in my purse all day so I didn't smell. I didn't use Lysol like the person who posted here, but I did use hand sanitizer so I could get rid of the smell! I was really disappointed in this product.

I got this hoping that I'd finally be able to make a full switch over to using all natural products on my body, but no such luck. I gave it a full three days, and I swear that it actually made me smell worse than I would have had I not worn any deodorant at all. By the third day I smelled so funky that I actually sprayed my pits with lysol so I could tolerate my own stink until I could leave work and go buy something more effective. Even worse, the smell lingered for several days after I stopped using it and switched back to my chemical-laden gel. I should add that I normally don't mind my own smell; I'm used to being less than fresh after working out or running, and I live in Florida. There was just something in this that interacted with my normal scent and made me reek to high heaven.

I bought this bc i knew that kiss my face was good with natural deos (liquid rock is what i had in mind) and so i bought this when I didn't see the liquid rock. This stuff was terrible! It's the scented one and the smell is nice.. but after that.. I hate it. It had me stinking 1 hour later. I was very disappointed because I want something natural without the Alum. Now I use the Kiss My Face in Liquid rock and it's much much better!

Don't buy it. It's true, i think it actually accentuates body odor. I used it one day for work, and I worked in a small office, but I ended up smelling of BO by noon.

There isn't a "Hell no" as a buy again option for this product, and that's unfortunate. This stuff not only didn't do squat (I stunk worse than EVER before) it also broke me out- My armpits looked sunburned. Don't waste your money.

Tell me start this off by saying that I LOVE KMF products normally. They also don't test on animals which is truly important to me. I bought this in a lovely tangerine like scent. I am not a profuse sweater--pretty average actually. I did try this first on the weekend and not a workday. Firstly, it was really sticky and didn't dry--maybe because I'm used to roll-on anti-perspirants. YUCK! I was horrified that by midday my pits were stinky! Not worth the money at all, and I chucked it. I know the aluminum is supposed to be toxic and horrible for me and all that, but I guess I'm inherently vain and I don't care as long as I'm funk free. No more deodorants for me!

This stuff is really really bad. Dont get me wrong, KMF is a great brand for other stuff, but this > is not working at all.. I applied it in the morning, and 2 hours after that.. I stink like crazy. I know it it "natural" but it is the worst deodorant I have ever used. Never never buy it, such a waste of money.

I know this is not an antiperspirant, which isnt an issue for me as I really dont sweat very much at all. I also dont really get smelly. Like, never. DH has even commented on how not-stinky I am no matter how hot it gets and what I do. All that being said, this product should have been perfect for me: I was looking for something super gentle and really dont need much protection. I found the texture to be fine, not really sticky like some have said. So why oh why does this product make me smell b.o. for the first time in my life??!! It's like it made me stinky. Wtf? I threw it in the trash, and I NEVER throw stuff away. This product did exactly the opposite of what it is supposed to. I hope the liquid rock is better!

Like everyone else has been saying it left a sticky residue under my arms. I would describe as sticky dried koolaide or the floor of a movie theatre, & that is definatly something I didn't like under my arms. I shower every other day, and while wearing this stuff that wasn't an option it only lasts one day, and since I've started wearing it my armpits smell the worst they have ever smelt. It also doesn't help much with wetness.

I have this in Peaceful Patchouli. It is so great! It lasts all day and the scent is awesome. Yay for natural deodorant that works!

This was pretty much a waste of money. It smells nice.......before you apply it. But when you put it on it's sticky and just doesn't seem to do anything at all.

Pleasantly scented and works well, but leaves a weird sticky residue that just doesn't go away. This is the first natural deodorant I've tried, but I remain optimistic that I'll find a good one!

I'm not crazy about this product at all. I just bought the Active Enzyme deoderant a week ago and can't wait until it runs out. I have the unscented version, which in my opinion smells. I have to camoflague it with baby powder. It does an alright job with keeping me dry, then again it is getting colder where I live.

not an impressive kiss my face product at all. generally, the KMF lines are great and produce fabulous results while being extremely pleasant to apply. not the case with this one..it has got to be the stickiest deodorant i have ever encountered. i don't generally really require the use of deodorant daily, but for the gym or for a particularly hotter day here in sunny so. cal, i usually apply one just to be safe. this one has a very sticky residue and very uncomfortable film that stays with you upon application- too uncomfortable to keep using. will not repurchase.

after reading that it is the active ingredients in anti-perspirents that mix with my body and create those repulsive yellow stains on my white shirts, I started looking for alternatives. I mean, I think it is more gross to have a big yellow stain under my arms than just a wet spot and my chemistry seem to create more yellowing than the average person. So I tried this, in the "perfumed scent". It smells very pretty, like honeysuckle or some sweet floral, but that subsides fairly quickly. Since I sweat no matter what, I did not see a big change in how much moisture was produced. Yes, this stuff feels sticky for longer but here is the payoff, I stink less. Yes, I just said that. Overall, I noticed I smelled less "BO" than with the extra strength anti-perspirant. after I wear white a few times, I will update you on the stain issues. EDITED: well, this ended up not keeping me very dry. I had no stain issues but I felt like I needed to shower more offen. It works for a while, but after 6 hours, I sweat and stink. darn!

Let me start off by saying I have been using Kiss My Face Liquid Rock for the past year (after reading reviews on here) and I love it. It works better than any non-antiperspirant deodorant I've ever used. However, I've noticed recently that my armpits have been getting dry and kind of itchy... It's winter and my skin gets drier in the winter, so I wasn't too surprised. I thought the liquid-ness of the Liquid Rock might have something to do with my pits being dried out, so I thought I'd try the solid Kiss My Face deodorant. Bad idea. This stuff does not work at all. First, it was still a little tacky/sticky feeling even after letting it dry a good 10 minutes (and I don't really think you should have to let a stick deodorant "dry" in the first place, never have before)...but now it's been 8 hours and I am at work and I can smell my B.O. THIS STUFF SUCKS!! Do not buy it. Go and buy KMF Liquid Rock instead!

Let me begin by saying that I am a huge fan of natural products. I would never return to using *regular* deodorants/antiperspirants. However, not all natural products are created equally. You see, I went from years of using regular, effective deodorant/antiperspirant-type products to using mineral rocks and occasionally Liquid Rock (also by Kiss My Face). All those years I was under the misconception that I didn't even really need a deodorant because I was never, ever smelly. I used those products *just in case*. Then I tried this slimy crap. How can I best sum up my results?? One word: ewwww. After about 12 hours, I was rank. TMI? Maybe. But do yourself a favor and pass this up. Get the liquid rock instead. That stuff works like a charm.

i really wanted to like this deodorant alot, and it is not all bad, but it just didn't work that well for me. i like the scents and the fact that it is natural but it didn't keep me as dry as i would have liked.

Well at first I really liked this product. Kept me shower fresh all day. Then after about a week or two, I developed a red, stingy rash. Ouuuccch! It hurts. Something in here is not for me. I will not repurchase. :(

I have the lavender. It smells lovely and goes on nice and smooth, but the problem is that it seems to generate MORE moisture under the arms. I am used to non-antipersperant deodorants, but this one has no staying powder, and the moist feeling is quite unpleasant. I will not re-purchase. Too bad, because it comes in a nice array of natural scents.
