This is a decent brush if your using it to set your makeup, big sweeping motions lets you cover your entire face quickly without moving the foundation underneath. But when I tried it for mineral foundation alone, I found it too big for my face, a sweep across my forehead deposited powder on my eyebrows. It doesn't do that when your just setting your makeup because you use it with a light hand, allowing the outer bristles to touch your face sideways. But when your using it solely to buff mu in, your trying to use the denser center portion to blend, letting the outside splay and hit the wrong parts of your face. Idk if that makes sense. But bottom line, nice BIG, soft, non shedding affordable brush. Which btw does stiffen after thorough washes. The longer bristles on the side never went back to its original softness, no matter how many drop of oils I add to my cleanser or repeat rinses. Its ferrel is also too big to fit in my daily cosmetic bag (the only real time I need a brush like this anyway-for retouches) & even takes up more than half my brushes cup on my vanity.

I will be honest, I used ELF Total Face brushes before I bought this one. So, the transition from that brush to this one was easy - I fell in love! This brush is perfect to throw a quick powder cover over your entire face, it doesn't require too much thought and it doesn't apply too much product. I could understand why people say the bristles are too long and it's not what they expected but I actually like the large size, it's perfect to add either your matte powder all over your face, or even mineralized loose powder.

Nope, I loved all the Real Techniques brushes I have so far, except for this one. Compared to my other big fluffy powder brushes (animal & synthetic) alike, I like this one the least.
It is by no means a horrible brush, my 2 complaints are:
1. for the texture of this bristles they are too long to give me better control of the movement.
2. the brush is too big, I felt like its picking up too much products and ended up flying all over the place.
It will cost me $5 postage to send back this $10 brush so I guess I'll keep it.

I am really disappointed with this powder brush. I was looking for a brush a little smaller than the Ecotools powder brush and ordered online from Ulta with the Expert brush (love love that one). It's really big, not all that soft, the bristles are dense but still manage to have too much "flop" and gives me uneven and too-light coverage. Not useful to me at all. Ecotools is better but I'm still looking.

This brush is so soft and is my favorite powder brush. Picks up a good amount and applies it evenly. I would definitely recommend this.

Great powder brush! Picks up just the right amount of product, and applies it nice and evenly. The brush is lovely and soft, and doesn't have fall out (like other brushes I've used in the past). In Australia this retails over $20, which is pretty expensive for a powder brush, but I found one online for $9 which is a good buy.
I would recommend.

I really like this powder brush. It is huge, and so soft. I use this with Chanel translucent powder, and it is really effective.
The whole line of brushes is wonderful, especially when you consider that they are significantly cheaper than brands such as mac and Nars, I think they're just as good if not better.

After only a couple of weeks, this has become my new favorite powder brush. It's light, the bristles are soft, it doesn't load up too much color, diffuses quite nicely, and is a great value for the price. My only complaint is about the design -- I wish the handle was thinner so it would fit into my MAC brush roll (my favorite way to travel with brushes). I'm sure the wide handle was has to do with the fact that the brush stands on its own, but that's not a feature I ever actually use.

This is a great powder brush if you are looking for something that will give low coverage. It works great for a light application of powder foundation (never looks cakey) or for finishing powder. It is very soft, holds its shape well even after washing many times, doesn't shed, and is a good size. It is sort of big, but not too big. The only thing I don't like about it is the big end on the handle as it won't fit in a brush roll. It is a great quality brush for the price ($10), and I feel like it will last a long time.

When I saw this online, I feel like I have to have it, since I love to collect brushes. (My theory: no matter how expensive your makeup is, without its tools, it still will not look good on you) I waited the package for a month to arrive! Anyway, when I touched this brush, I knew that I will love this brush. However, I am a little disappointed. Yes, this brush is huge, which I think is good for applying powder. Yes, this brush is dense and not too dense that you will get a lot of powder on your face. But the only downside is that if you have sensitive skin like me or you used to use higher end brands' brushes, you will feel a little bit scratchy when using this brush. It is not very scratchy, just a tiny bit. When I apply my powder around my eyes, the brush will feel a little bit scratchy. I still use this brush everyday because I love it and just a tiny bit of scratchy feeling will not make me throw away a wonderful brush like this. But will I buy this again, I probably won't.

First, let me preface this review by saying, I LOVE these brushes!! They are cruelty-free and of fantastic quality. The bristles are phenomenally soft and really hold pigment for application. They are great. I have many different brushes from a variety of price points (MAC, EcoTools, Sonia Kashuk, etc) and these are truly my favorite. I just really don't think you can go wrong with most of them.
This brush is perfect for blush, contour and highlight. I also use it for setting powder over my foundation. It's the ideal size (what's this about it being too big? Maybe I just have a giant face because I don't feel that way at all!!), perfect amount of density... just wonderful. I definitely recommend.

This brush is SO SOFT and big and fluffy. It's perfect for applying bronzer and powder.
I personally like a really big brush for bronzer, because it avoids leaving streaks. Some people say this brush is 'too big', but it really isn't. I've had bigger... this one is the perfect size.

Absolutely love this brush! After hearing the rave from a youtube guru, i bought it on amazon and it was amazing! It super soft and huge! Bigger than my sigma powder and elf powder brushes. For 10$ it's a great deal and useful!

Personally, I love this brush. I want a large fluffy and soft brush when looking for a powder brush. This brush is even bigger than my MAC 150. I use both brushes and love them both. Personally I like the thinner handle of the MAC 150 but if you don't want to spend the money on a powder face brush why not get the Real Technique, it only retails for $9.99.
I like to try all and any intriguing makeup products, brushes included. As far as brushes go I also own high end MAC brushes, Sephora brushes, Bobbi Brown brushes and even Costco brushes.
First of the Pros:
1.) Soft
2.) Large head slight flat top head at the top (good for blending out your cheeks)
3.) Dries quickly after a wash
4.) Doesn't shed
5.) Great price
Cons:-
1.) Thick handle makes it hard to put it on the a cup holder.
I'm intrigued enough to try out the other brushes in Sam's Real Techniques line. So far from this line, I'm happiest with this brush and the single eye shading brush you buy.

Ok so I am a sucker for brushes (and lipstick, foundation, blush, mascara, eyeshadow, bronzer etc. et. etc), anyway, I wanted some inexpensive brushes to have in my desk at work so I bought this and i have to say I love it!!! I like this one better that my shu powder brush. It's dense, doesn't shed, doesn't smell, easy to wash, great quality and price. Would repurchase!

Prior to this I was using the Eco tools fluffy powder brush, and I liked it but it was not quite dense enough. I saw this in Ulta a few months ago and had to have it. Affordable, effective, doesn't shed and it's oh so soft! This brush is very large, dense and it sets my foundation flawlessly with ease! I also feel it distributes powder more even than any other large powder brush I have owned. I would only repurchase if I lost it because this brush will last.

Lovely big soft brush. I've found that I'm using less powder and getting a better finish.

Having recently discovered Pixiwoo and Sam Chapman's excellent tutorial videos, I simply had to have one or another of her brushes. I decided on the powder and stippling brushes and am delighted with both of them. My only objection is that I am definitely not a fan of the shape of the handle--I really, really do not need brushes that stand up. They take up counter space. I have my brushes in a cup and these certainly will not fit. The two that I bought are currently lying flat in a basket containing other makeup items but if I bought any more of these brushes I would have no place to store them.

Love it! This is the softest brush and it hasnt shed a single hair. I had purchased several other large powder brushes (Quo, MUG) and they always leave hairs all over my face. For under $10 this brush is amazing quality!

Great concept. Large, dense brush but the bristles are scratchy. I'm hoping I got one from a bad batch.
Edit: After much use, I'm really adoring the way this applies powder products. Perfectly!
Will purchase another one. Only wishing the design of the handle would change.
